The Club Penguin Rewritten team have released a tweet hinting at the newest item for players to obtain on the island: the “Slice of Pizza” hand item.

The newest potential addition to players inventories is also the first fully custom item. In contrast to previous “custom” items, the new hand item is not just a recolour of an existing item and has never been seen before.

Since the publication of this post, this feature has been updated so that you no longer need to wear a specific outfit to obtain the item

To access the item, you need to wear the “Chef Hat” and “Pizza Apron”. Both of these items are currently obtainable towards the back of the Penguin Style catalog.

To obtain the item, visit the Pizza Parlor on any server, whilst wearing the correct outfit, and waddle over to one of the three tables in the room. Then, simply click on one of the plates and the option to add the item to your inventory should come up on your screen.

The item also comes with a custom animation. To view it, you need to remove all other clothing items (head item, body item, etc) and then use the movements toolbar along the bottom of your screen to dance or press D on your keyboard.

To view the custom animation, make sure your only clothing item is the “Slice of Pizza” item and then you can dance by opening the movements menu and pressing the dance button (boxed here in red)

With the first ever custom item now implemented to the game, the CPR Team seem likely to continue to add even more items like this one to the game.
