CPRewritten: Anniversary Party Sneak Peak

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – The Club Penguin Rewritten team have announced a number or plans for this year’s Anniversary Party. Join us as we reveal the plans for mascot meet-ups and a sneak peak of custom artwork for the event!

With the Anniversary Party, which will run from between the 12th and 14th of February, rapidly approaching, Club Penguin Rewritten developer Stu has posted a community blogpost to the CPR website.

The first post of February 2021 included an updated version of the Anniversary Cake that we can expect to see in the Coffee Shop. The previous sneak peak previewed a concept art sketch of the cake whereas the newest image is a section of the fully completed cake.

The post also announced the date for the first community meet-up of the post-flash era. The event, which will take place on Zipline at 10am PST on Friday February 12th 2021, will see the CPR Team answer questions from and play minigames with the playerbase. The dress code has been announced as “Party Hats”.

The “Community Meet-Up (Anniversary Special)” post concluded by announcing that Aunt Arctic will be visiting during the Anniversary Party, making her the first mascot to visit CPR’s HTML5 client. Stu also stated that the meet-up times would be announced beforehand; this will allow for players to log on in anticipation for her visit.

This preview will eventually be joined with the custom design for the anniversary cake and then added into the game for the event later this week!
