Coffee Shop Chatter: “When will our first HTML5 battle be?”

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – Field Marshal Max spills the tea when answering your burning questions.

How many armies are there left in the community?

Dear Reader,

The change from flash to HTML5 saw the death of many private server platforms and therefore armies too, while others like the Water Vikings and Doritos have all completely rebranded as gaming servers. Right now, I believe there are about 16 armies left in the Club Penguin army community: Army of CP, Help Force, Rebel Penguin Federation, Silver Empire, Pizza Federation, Special Weapons and Tactics, Templars, People’s Imperial Confederation, Redemption Force, Lime Green Army, Ice Warriors, Recon Federation, Cries Cult, Black Knights and Sun Troops. This is a significant drop from a time when the community saw 30 armies listed in the Top Ten rankings each weekend.

Do we have any upcoming themed weeks?

Dear Reader,

Yes – we do! Although I cannot give away too much at present time, we have a special themed week coming very, very soon. And the climax of said week will feature a very exciting event, with more information on that coming this Sunday on the Shamrock Bulletin. Likewise, Shamrock Reporter Skylar will be taking a look back at all our previous themed weeks here in the Army of CP, in a special article set to be released next week. Stay tuned for that, and the exciting week of events we have planned!

Why was the ACP Delta Division created?

Dear Reader,

The Delta Division was reformed on September 19th, 2020, during the first Alpha vs. Echo Civil War, and was used by leader CSY and the moderators to mend the Higher Command rift. After it successfully did so, the Delta Division was established as an elite group of soldiers that were aware of the latest innovative battle tactics, formations and movements the ACP leadership would use in conflict with other armies. It is still in effect today, and you can expect an important Delta Training session soon as we update ourselves on our HTML5 battle strategy.

What was the Top Ten Armies process?

Dear Reader,

If you didn’t know, this past weekend the second Top Ten Armies of 2021 was conducted by myself and Sophie on the Shamrock Bulletin. The process was relatively simple as we both have considerable experience from the CP Army Hub in producing a Top Ten, and it began with us monitoring the army community and their events for the week. This was to ensure that we were including all the active armies in the community, and to produce the most fair and representative rankings.

Fast forward to Saturday, and a calculations team of Sophie, Max and Zamb got to work on the Top Ten math. Zamb conducted the ACP calculations to remove fears of an ACP bias, while Max and Sophie handled the rest. Likewise, a biography writing team consisting of Fatchicken88, Caramel, Sophie and Max handled the written content, ensuring all the events were noted and the best event picture from the week had been selected. We can’t wait to do it all again this weekend!

When will our first HTML5 battle be?

Dear Reader,

It was announced earlier today that the Army of CP will engage their enemies, the Special Weapons and Tactics, in battle THIS SATURDAY, February 6th, at 5pm EST. This will be a huge conflict and one that you do not want to miss – we ended the flash era of warfare with a war against the SWAT, and we shall begin the HTML5 era with yet another victory. The battle information is up on the ACP Discord right now, so please be sure to react in the channel to confirm your attendance. Let’s make it one to remember!

With love, Max
