Reasons of Rock71’s Demotion

Salutations, ACP.

I’m here today to explain the full reasons of Rock71’s firing and our apology to him as this was no doubt too sudden and rushed. However, his current inactivity and laziness has resulted in the demotion of this loyal ACP owner.

Rock71 himself stating that he is extremely busy with Basketball practice and cannot preform to his fullest capabilities. He later stated on chat that it would last for a few months.

Rock and I had a talk about how long his basketball practice would be on for, and he stated that there was an unstable schedule and would only be able to attend half of the events for each week.

Rock71 stating that he was “lazy” and didn’t log on.

Our job as leaders of the ACP is to do what’s best for the army. Rock71 was a great friend, but it has been decided that he is not fit for an owner position due to his busy life-schedule. Of course, it’s important for a person to balance the reality world with the virtual world. We allow absences due to school and such, but only for a small time period. I was absent for 2 weeks due to exams, and Sercan was gone for 1 week for the same reason as well. However, a long-term inactivity from an owner (long-term as in exceeding 1 month,) could be devastating to the army. After discussing with the head-honchoes of the ACP, it was concluded that such an absence would affect ACP’s current stats, and that it would be wiser to allow another 3rd in Command with potential to fill in to increase the ACP’s performance.

Also, regarding Rock’s anti-social behavior towards Sercan, he had been provoking Sercan even after being asked to stop by myself (Flipmoo) on the ACP staff site. “Anti-social” as in deliberately posting statements that is unfriendly and provokable towards Sercan.  These statements could’ve been said differently, and if that was the case it wouldn’t of have been an issue, however, that’s not how it was. This is one of the supporting factors of Rock71’s demotion. The primary reason for this demotion was due to his inactivity, as stated in the preceding paragraph.

Not only was this demotion approved by the owners, but Shaboomboom has acknowledged the situation and has agreed on it as well: https://thearmyofcp.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/52093-screen-shot-2013-12-22-at-12-21-52-pm.png

I acknowledge the fact that this demotion was too sudden, and I didn’t expect it to be posted for another couple of days or so, to give Rock a chance to step down on his own. For that I apologize, but this decision cannot be undone as we have talked things through.

Though keep in mind that Rock71 currently a 4th in Command, and is eligible to run for 3iC elections in the future if the leaders nominate him.

We ask for your understanding.

Best regards,

~Generalissimo Flipmoo, 30th Leader of the ACP.

  1. This post had to be made since he kept spreading lies about why this decision was made.

  2. Whenever Rock was on chat, I felt he was repeatedly being ganged up on for inactivity, laziness and generally being unfit for the position. I don’t know all the details but I doubt rock was given a fair chance either.

The reason is crap as well, “because he was taking a long real life absence” – he was still going to attend half of events, right? And generally, I thought armies were meant to be supportive of real life events. It seems a bit like something you had to work hard to find as there wasn’t really enough proof Rock was in the wrong. “And “being mean to Sercan” sounds thoroughly North Korean. Did he not clap enthusiastically enough too?

Anyway, as far as I could see Rock wasn’t more inactive than anyone, and certainly was never treated justly and unbiasedly in all of this. The leaders decided they disliked him and eventually got rid of him.

    • We concluded that having another owner instead of Rock would be beneficial to the ACP and it’s U.S.A. Division. Having an inactive 3rd in Command that comes on occasionally late a night and doesn’t show up to events is crucial to the ACP.
Yes, if you read the post thoroughly it clearly states that we allow absences due to real life events, but inactivity for 3 months continuously is too long. If that person was a moderator, his or her rank could be frozen until then, but that’s not possible for an owner rank. We need someone who is constantly on and holds a positive effect on the ACP. Rock was merely demoted. He is eligible to run for 3iC again after his real life events loosen up and can be proven that he can be active again.

” The leaders decided they disliked him and eventually got rid of him.” Would you please stop making your own assumptions based on what you want to believe? The enunciation of truth is posted, and you refuse to think it through or absorb the facts at all. You believe what you think or want it to be. You fabricate your own theory and state it as a fact. That’s just plain wrong.
