ACP, this is tragic and pathetic.  We are reliving August 2012 again when ACP was at it’s darkest hour with hardly any active American troops and everyone, UK and US, sitting around on ACP chat griping about everything and doing nothing.  Whining and moaning gets us nowhere.  ACTION!  ACP, get up and make it happen!  It’s not going to magically happen on it’s own…WE NEED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Yesterday afternoon, I managed to rework my schedule so I could attend a US event.  Unfortunately, we didn’t have one scheduled.  Seeing we had people in chat, I made an unscheduled event for working on formations, tactics, and specific practice on that rotation bomb, while throwing in some recruiting.  Although I faced challenges with the possibility of having to go afk during the event, I still had the event and managed to lead and teach for the whole time, but 2 minutes while Tori stepped in to cover for me.  What I witnessed was very sad.  We maxed 8 troops and averaged 6 and there was very little enthusiasm.  Nobody was into it and there was even little enthusiasm for logging in.  We finished the event and I thanked everyone who came and participated, even some retired ACP came, thank you.

Afterward, everyone griped in the chat about how small we were and how US needs a leader, etc.  Listen up, our US troops will not increase in size or attitude until we get off our penguin butts and get into those tracker chats and recruit!  It won’t happen on it’s own and why are we sitting around moaning when

WE ARE THE SOLUTION.

Yea, it’s going to take a lot of hard work, boring work, but it must happen. Don’t even give me that bull of how it’s pointless to recruit on trackers and how ineffective it is, that is not true.  I’ve seen HSA, LT, Pirates, AR, and other armies in there constantly recruiting and they are making themselves larger, better armies.  They are putting the time in and making their armies better while ACP sits around whining.  We’ve had weeks to recruit but nobody is doing it hardly, so we wasted valuable time for what is coming.

Funks is our leader.  Whether you agree with him or not on decisions or plans and actions for our army, he cannot do everything and the responsibility of making our army active should not be placed entirely on him.  Stop blaming Funks for everything.   He does what he can and it’s up to us to do the rest…we work and function as a whole as in any organization/group.  He is just one person.  I am just one person.  Purple is just one person.  We can do as much as we can, but we cannot do it alone and it takes EVERYONE to rebuild this army.  We can encourage you and try to inspire you to do something, but you have to do it! Ever heard he saying, “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink?” DRINK THE WATER ACP! Stop being part of the problem and be a part of the solution!

We have people on our ranks that are not active.  We have owners on our ranks who aren’t very active and they should be the most active and encouraging of everyone . Owners should be encouraging people to recruit constantly and recruiting themselves.  Many are just sitting around griping without action and that’s not what we are there for.  Get active, get the passion and enthusiasm for ACP again or get out and let someone who has it, do it.  Owners must make contributions to ACP and if you’re not caring enough about the army you should love and be loyal to, then get out.

Our Generals, 4ICs are relatively inactive too, as well as our 5ICs. Some of the people on the ranks, I don’t even recognize.  Get them out and replace them with great people like Levandoski, Mariosatr, Maxy777, Mr Waffle and others who are giving so much of themselves for ACP.

We need major reorganization in the high/higher ranks.  It’s a risky move, a bold move, but one that must happen.  Anyone who sits on their rank doing nothing should be demoted unless they have a good reason and prior notification of their issues.  This is nothing personal against anyone here.  For example, Swimmerboy and all owners, sorry Swim and owners, but I got to do this for the good of ACP.  Swimmerboy is an amazing person in real life and in xat.  He’s a leader, and inspiration and he has undeniably the best phrase tactics in all of CP armies.  He can do the job of leader and 2IC with confidence and success.  The only issue is he cannot be active enough and right now we need active people.  As much as I’d love Swim active because we need his skills and talents so much, I’m glad he’s making the decision to focus on his real life future, that is much more important than ACP, no offense ACP.  Swim can’t be active much, but when he’s here, he gives 100% and is amazing.  What we need though right now is not inactive or very little active people, we need people who have time in their schedule to devote to ACP. Foldez, who is I guess active (if you can call it that because being in chat and criticizing/degrading everyone and taking a million screen shots serve no purpose and I would not consider that “active” nor making any valid contributions to ACP) should be assigning people to recruit and doing their owner responsibilities instead of “Safari Time” * facepalm*  This is not an effective owner and certainly not a good 2IC.  Nothing personal or opinionated, this is based on fact of participation, effort, attitude, contributions, etc.  Right now we need effective 2ICs more than ever.  Then there is Tori . God Tori I love ya so much, we all do, but my observation is that you’ve lost that passion for ACP.  You’d rather be elsewhere, which is totally fine, but we need you active and enthused about ACP again.  ACP is an afterthought to you since your close knit group of retirees left for the other chat.  We need you though because people listen to you and enjoy you, you are inspirational and persuasive because your personality is fantastic.  However, you’re not in it anymore and it makes me sad, but I understand totally.  Kenneth1000, congrats on your Medal of Honor that you so earned and deserve.  You are active and helpful, but you must encourage active recruiting and not suggest to our fine troops to go to other armies and secure a rank with them for if ACP fails.  I don’t know if this was a joke, but certainly not productive or inspiring to ACP.  We need to keep our troops and encourage them to be more involved and not flee, of all people you should know this.  I’m glad you are one of the more active owners though and we need you.  Purpleslime4, you are probably the most active owner, other than myself, and a huge benefit to ACP. There is nothing I can say bad about you. You are a quality soldier, a morale booster, a true inspiration and you’re always on top of things between armies, within ACP and taking control You post frequently with creativeness and are very organized. You are fantastic in the chat and interacting effectively with our troops. You are a role model, best of the best and should be proud of yourself. Although you are the youngest, you are most effective and active.

Having a US leader would help these issues, but if you think a US leader coming in is going to magically solve the problem of the US troops being unmotivated and virtually extinct, you are wrong.   It will help of course, but we should rely on our US owners for taking the responsibilities of a US leader until one is decided.  ALL US TROOPS MUST WORK HARD TO REBUILD AND BE ACTIVE.  Don’t rely on one person, DO IT as you should be doing it.

So my point?  Things don’t magically happen, get off your buns and make things happen ACP and stop whining about problems when YOU might be part of the problem when you should be part of the solution.  All ACP get active or be demoted.  I’d rather have 20 active, enthusiastic, loyal, quality troops than 60 lame ducks doing nothing to contribute or participate in ACP.
