Hola, ACP! You have probably noticed that I haven’t posted for ages. Not the best way for a 2iC to act, but hey ho, I’m here now. I know some of you are inquisitive penguins, so here’s why I was away, and what’s been hip and happening, and all the coolbean stuff Splashy comes up with.
Why I’ve been away.
Two reasons for this.
1 – Internet difficulties. Most of you know this, as I’ve been on chat but not on CP. Some nights, it’s worse, and I can’t get on the Internet whatsoever. But while Splashy was learning unnecessary stuff at school, the interwebs guy came round the fixed the Internet. SO I CAN BE ACTIVE AGAIN YAY.
2 – Personal problems. Technically, it isn’t something I can physically sort, but it is more real life than penguins and such. I’m not going into much detail about this. Two or three people reading this will (or should) know what I’m talking about here. As I said, we won’t delve into that as it isn’t necessary. But all you need to know is that these problems are now resolved, or the majority of them at least.
What I’ve been thinking about.
The leadership, mainly. This classifies as the ownership, but Splashy is a lazy one. Recently at an event, it was chaos. We’d started well, then something happened with Funks which left me, the 3iC’s and Flipper (retired MoH leader) in control. I couldn’t access CP [Interweb problems] and Flip is retired, which left Foldez and Obama leading. This went on for about 10 minutes, and our sizes was still great, but our tactics and organisation was not. This was due to poor coordination between us owners.
This needs to be fixed. The issue must, must, must be addressed. This will probably consist of us owners having a session in the Meeting Room, and we should be able to sort some stuff. Nothing you guys really need to worry yourselves about. But I just figured that you guys should know we’re planning on solving this.
I’ve also been thinking about events. Lately, over the past few months, we’ve had boring battlefield events. Tell me, what was the last organised fun event you remember? I can remember a Game Night in April. Yes, April. Maybe it’s just my recent memory which is rubbish, but April is the best fun event I can remember. So, like Foldez’s recent post, we’re going to be having more fun events now, in between this Nacho war. This will consist of going on CP and having fun, playing games and whatnot, and having fun on Xat, like contests, quizzes, giveaways, that sort of coolbean stuff everyone should be doing.
Other coolbean stuff.
In a poll I held a while ago, one of the suggestions you guys gave me was that I should lead more events. And I will do. Since my Internet is happy now, sucking up electric juice without no problems, I can get back to being fully active. I have beanloads of stuff planned. The Holiday season is coming up soon, and this will be fun. I have a coupla stuff planned for that. Then we’ll be hittin’ the new year, 2013, if we don’t all die before Christmas (NO SARCASTIC COMMENTS ABOUT THE MAYAN CALENDAR TYVM.), and the new year will be muy fantastico! [very fantastic]
And apart from that, Splashy is a boring bean.
Oh, ohohoh, I forgot something. Two somethings. Firstly, I’ve changed my name on Xat to Monster. Just because I prefer that over Splashy. But I’ll still be using Splashy56 as my penguin. And secondly, since loads of coolbeans have done something with marching, I will do.
