BONJOUR!
Yeh, it was some language day or something the other week so I’m totally in that foreign mood. Also, my apologies for not being on last Monday and Tuesday. I was having fun letting my digested food find itself back up through my throat. Tasty, right? Splashy was under the impression that I died and was resurrected two days later. You were fairly accurate, I’ll give you that. This post will be filled with updates and all those awfully fun things you lovely folk enjoy. I hope.
HALLOWEEN

Ooft, we’ve just hit October. We seem to be flying through 2012 and it’ll soon be the end of the world like all those people keep telling us. Anyway, Halloween is swiftly approaching us and it’s a fairly big deal here in the army world. When I say it’s a big deal, really I mean an excuse to get snazzy graphics and wander around with pumpkins on our heads. Since Pochoma123, our graphics designer is slowly being swallowed by the retirement bug we’ll need to get a new one unless he’s still up for it. If you can do all that Leonardo Da Vinci skill then private chat me on ACP Chat or I’ll have to get someone useless like me to do it.
Club Penguin Army Central(CPAC) are once again holding their tournament, the Scary Showdown. Around this time last year, we were victorious in the finals against the Nachos. We had fought our way through the opposition and had won the tournament. This year, a twist has been added to the event. Two armies have to work together to win and then face off in the finals. We were teamed up with the Light Troops who are known to be one of our most frequent enemies of today’s ACP. I asked soldiers on chat and we were slightly edged on not taking part this time around. In the past week we’ve had three events with over 25 on Club Penguin so we don’t want to go straight into fighting a different army each day. Whilst the tournament is in place we will be having practice battles and Halloween events alongside tactics and recruiting.
CLOVERS

The clovers were introduced a while back now to help the owners complete promotions. They are basically a medal/point/reward system. You probably know the drill but if not, you collected a certain number of clovers(medals) at each event and had a grand total at the end of each month. You needed 30 clovers to have gained a promotion and if you hadn’t reached that target, you wouldn’t get one. It wasn’t exactly rocket science, was it? We didn’t want anyone to stop going to events as soon as they hit 30 though. We wanted everyone to give the ACP their all. Recently, the clovers haven’t really worked to our advantage and those who are active weren’t getting promotions. In turn, those you were barely attending events, were getting them. So, the conclusion to that is
❗ The clover system has now been sentenced to death ❗
Yesh, we shan’t be using any medal system right now. If you want to keep scaling the ranks, remain active and leave a comment at the end of the month telling us why you deserve a promotion. I do notice everyone that goes to events and I can recall who is putting 100% into the ACP. The owners will be looking harder into who contributes on chat, is active on Club Penguin and who helps the new soldiers.
Commander General Spot

After Empoleon has left our ranks, we need a new Commander General(3ic). The new one will most likely be an American as we need to strengthen our ownership slightly in that department. Casius Brutus who was a great addition to the owner ranks when he was promoted sadly may have to retire. He insured me before he went inactive that he would very much like to carry on in the ACP but can’t. He has exams coming up and they are priority for him at the moment. Unless he returns in the next few days, we’ll remove him from the ranks and probably get a retirement post afterwards. Comment with who you think should get the next owner spot(Division General preferably).
Soldier of Whenever

Yeh, basically all the Club Penguin chats and armies have had it at one point. Soldier of the month, week, day, second or whatever time they decide is most appropriate. Former leader, Flipper7706 gave me the idea to do it. I believe it can help spice up some friendly competition at events to be the most active and hard working. I will hopefully create a widget which can hold the current soldier who has gained the title. I will try and organize a temporary chat promotion(owner/modship) for the troop who has it. If I have some spare, I will give away a chat prize and the title will help massively towards promotions at the end of the month. I’ll try and spot someone who really deserves it this week to be our first soldier of the *insert time slot here*.
_____________________________________
Oh my word, Ek’s made a post with words in less than four months. This is fantastic. Yeh, I thought I’d log out of chat for a while so I could concentrate on my post. Apologies for not being on last week very much. I was sick and had rather a lot of bands and homework. Anyway, I’m back to my full activity which should be good. Comment with your thoughts on each topic that I’ve talked about. I need to go and hunt down a graphics designer.
