Asd’s Guide to Armies: Determining the Battle

Every day, Club Penguin Warfare is entertained by battles that are located all over Club Penguin. It’s fun and intriguing when you attend, but it only gets frustrating after the battle. The two armies of the battle (especially during a war time) take pride in their accomplishments and [usually] declare themselves the victors. I’m here to sort things out, for the soldiers of the Army of Club Penguin, and hopefully for the rest of the CP Army Community.

The Retreating Rule

In Club Penguin Armies, a retreat is classified as leaving a room in which the other force is in. For example, if Army A and B are both in the Forts, and Army B moves to the Plaza, Army B has retreated. It does not count, however, if Army A is in the Town when Army B moves to the Plaza. The losing army retreats more than the winning army.

EXCEPTION: If the battle is an invasion, the rule only applies to the defending army. The invading army may move wherever they like.

The Goodbye Rule

The losing army logs off first. No matter what the conditions are [unless an army has complete obliterated the opposing force], then the army that logs off first loses. [If Army A logs off first, then Army B wins based off of the Goodbye Rule. However, if Army A has succeeded in claiming most of the other rules and logs off first, then Army A wins because they believe they shouldn’t spend any more time on Army B]

The Tactic Rule

The winning army performs better tactics. Better tactics includes-

  • More tactics [if Army A performs 10 tactics, and Army B performs 9 tactics, then Army A wins based on this part of the Tactic Rule]
  • Better percentage of performance [If Army A has 40% of their soldiers perform the tactic, and Army B has 90%, then Army B wins based on this part of the Tactic Rule]
  • Complexity of the Tactic [If Army A does a runs around in a circle while doing the tactic, and Army B stays in spot, then Army A wins based on this part of the Tactic Rule]
If you were to judge an army based off of the Tactics Rule, I’d judge it with Percentage of Performance counting for the most, More Tactics as the second most, and complexity of the tactic being the third most.
The Size Rule
The winning army usually has better size. For example, if Army A has 10,000 troops and Army B has 1 soldier, then Army A wins. However, if both armies are matched in size [given a moderate range of 5 or less troops, then they are considered equal and the result is a tie based on the Size Rule][Size should be based on averages, not max of the entire battle]
The Formations Rule
The winning army will usually have better formations. [If Army A does a chat bar line, while Army B circles around the room, then Army B wins based on this part of the Formations Rule].

Personally, I’d like to see who actually agrees with this. If any army agrees with this, have an owner put their “signature” on it. Someday, battles will be determined by the use of this system!

Here’s something for you guys to try out! Find out who wins this battle!
OVERALL BATTLE DESCRIPTION
Army A started out in the Town, while Army B started out in the Dock. Army A recruits for a while before moving to the dock. Once they saw Army B in there, Army A moved to the Beach. Army B chased after them in the opposite direction and ended up in the Plaza after going through the Town, Dance Club, Boiler Room, and Pool. Army A grew a little bit in size and then mapped themselves to the Plaza. Both armies are equally matched in size by now. They fight and fight. Army A has better percentage of performance, but Army B has more complex tactics and is doing more. Army B decides to retreat to the Forest, and Army A follows. Army B retreats again into the Cove, and Army A follows. They battle it out there, but in the end, both armies drown, except for 1 nooby soldier from each army. They’re trying to figure who wins.
Army A Statistics of the Battle of all of the Servers of Club Penguin

Tips for determining the victor:
  • Are there any rules that would automatically determine the victor?
  • Which rules did each army win?
  • Use the Overall Battle Description to learn about the retreats.
  • Remember the conditions and exceptions to the rules!
  • A tie is possible!
  • Each of the rules are counted equally against each other.
Which army won? If you find out, correctly, you’ll be entered in a raffle for 100 xats!

Result of Mukluk: 11-1-1

Hai dere, ACP!

Nobody posted Big Snow’s results.  It was decided it would be a cut to our winning streak as a loss.  You lose some, you win some.  Don’t let that get to you guys.  On the good side we won Mukluk.  We neither gained nor lost a server today.  Comment for your THREE CLOVES/MEDALS if you came to Mukluk today!

NaLC3day

**Excuse the length of this postI am away for a week and I wanted to get one out beforehand**

Bonjour ACP!

I’d like to say great job this past fortnight or so. We’ve been smashing numbers and trying fairly new tactics on Club Penguin. The Nacho war is still raging on and our enemy is finding it hard to hold off our tough forces.

Defence Of Mountian! ACP Vs Nachos

It was decided on a meeting chat that ACP won.  If the rooms were to be in a one-point system the score would have been 2.5 ACP: 1.5 Nachos.  This was agreed by Ekpenguin9, Puckley, and myself.  ACP won the cove and the dojo, with a tie in the boiler room.  Nachos won the dock, with a tie in the boiler room.  I’m completely aware of our sizes recently and I completely apologize for it.  There is nobody else to blame but me.  We all need to work harder and prepare more often now.  I’d really appreciate it if people started recruiting more often.  If you can show valid proof of your great recruiting skills and getting people to join ACP (example, chat recruiting or recruiting on CP) then you will be awarded clovers.  To be eligible for promotions in ACP you must have thirty to thirty-five clovers.  Stay forever strong and never give up the will to fight.

Let the marching begin.

Victory on Crystal for Boblsed: 9-0

Hai ACP,

Today we managed great sizes for the time of day. The UK had just came back from school and many USA were still asleep from a long weekend. We managed to max 35-40 and we averaged 30-35 on CP. Although the Nachos only maxed 25 on CP with an average of 15-20+ they still claimed victory again which made me very annoyed. They then said we should admit defeat for once, even though we crushed them in most battles? I was very impressed with our tactics and size and this was a very good performance.

Retirement of Noka8

This is the retirement of Noka8, a former Head General (2ic) and recently General. Noka was a good soldier and was known for always being hyper and energetic. He was not always looked upon as great, but in my opinion will go down as a very active and amazing owner. He has been in ACP for a long time and has served us well. Now, that’s enough from me, here is his retirement post.

Noka’s Last Battle: 8-0-1

Hai dere, ACP!

This was the closest battle of the war yet.  We pulled off the victory though.  [1] Nachos were smaller than us; [2] Nachos tactics were never better than ours; [3] Nachos logged off first when invading it.  I apologize for not taking that many chat pictures as much as I use to.  Typically after a battle I have to fight my way through many private chats.    Comment for your THREE MEDALS/CLOVERS if you made the event!

Victory on Aurora: 7-0-1

Hai ACP,

Today the Nachos were far too stubborn to admit defeat once again. We had 35+ average on CP throughout the battle whereas the Nachos averaged 25 during the first minutes and 15 during the last thirty minutes. Using this logic the Nachos decided they won the battle with better tactics, despite the fact our tactics were sharper and well executed. They also said we didn’t move rooms enough and stayed in the same room. As far as I can remember Nachos didn’t move in ANY of their invasions. Anyway, our size was good and our tactics were great and this was good for an hour long battle.

Laugh a Little && Smile

Hai dere, ACP!

Welcome to the ACP, the war— and the battlefront.  Currently we’re in guerrilla warfare.  We invade our enemy, the Nachos, and hurry back to a home server to protect it at all costs.  This is how the battlefront has been for a while, and seems to be carrying out for the time to come.  It’s been decided we’ve won seven battles, and there is still a lot of dispute on our server of Cloudy.

I’m here to tell you all that winning seven battles is amazing.  A win-streak of seven battles is a really hard thing to do.  We’re emerging victorious and we have not given up.  This is the ideal attitude of a soldier.   March into a battle with your head strong, looking out for one another, and destroying the enemies lines.

We fight for the title of best Club Penguin army.  It’s been a battle for an ongoing six years.  To this date, we’re the most viewed and join CP army.  The biggest size.  One of the best tactics.  An evolutionary army that progresses throughout the years.

Laugh a little, and remember to smile.  This is a game dedicated to having fun.  Making friends and having fun.  We’ve had a history of ups and downs and we’re not going to let that change our attitude.  Let’s have fun while we try to strive to become bigger and better.

Results of Flippers: 6-0-1

Hai dere, ACP!

We won the battle again.  It was a good battle and to decide the verdict it had to be handled on a meeting chat.  Pretty much it was just constant yelling and swearing.  After a while I got fed up, showed the judge our pictures (Nachos doing the same), and he decided we won.  Once a little debate after that announcement it was all pretty much over.  We can’t let this win be taken lightly though or let it get to our heads.  Our enemy wants some big-time revenge.  Since I promised if we’d win this battle I’d give out more clovers: comment for your FOUR CLOVERS/MEDALS if you were at Flippers!

^ Thanks, Austin. ^
