Rooms: Advantages and Disadvantages

Hai there, ACP! Asd here!

This post is for when you’re leading an iLead (also called a uLead event). Heck, it’s for any event that”s going on, whether it’s in another army or ACP.

The post you’re currently reading about is the rooms of Club Penguin. Certain rooms are better for battling and others are better for defending or recruiting. So, here we go!

HOWEVER! Before we start, I’m just going to give a brief description of everything that’ll be mentioned.

Recruiting: It’s when you get random penguins, usually we call them rogues, and they help our army. They are not on chat, but follow our actions on CP.

Size: This room can hold a certain amount of soldiers.

Battling: Army vs Army. Each army performs tactics.

Group Formation: This is how ACP organizes itself during an event. This includes lines, circles, letters, etc.

Defending: This room is excellent for defense.

Retreating: This room is an excellent room to retreat too.

Invading: This room is an excellent room to invade another army.

Town

Good Things, Pros
  • Recruiting: The most popular room in all of Club Penguin will attract the most rogues to the green group.
  • Battling: The room is decent enough for us to explode with tactics and cover the opposing army.
  • Group Formation: It has fair size, and we’ll be able to perform several formations. The most popular ones in the town are the chat bar line, line down, line across, or the advanced circle.
  • Defending: You’ll be able to run in there first. Since the room has a small size, it’ll be easy for us to squeeze in and not leave enough room for the other armies.
Neutral, Neither Good or Bad
  • Retreating: It’s good to retreat too. You’ll be able to gain a few extra rogues. However, it is very predictable that you’ll go here.

Bad Things, Cons

  • Size: Depending on who gets there first, there are only a limited amount of penguins that can fit in the room. If, for example, Army X runs in there first with 30 penguins, ACP will only be able to fit maybe 10 penguins in there.
  • Invading: Usually, the army that is defending will choose this room to gain some extra recruits. They’ll be there first, and your army won’t be able to fit in there.
Overall: Overall, this room is one of the best CP has to offer. Usually, this room is where the battle starts out. Whoever “owns” this room during the pre-battle will usually claim a victory.

Dock

Good Things, Pros

  • Group Formation: It’s one of the largest rooms in all of Club Penguin. If you have a fair size, then you should be able to master the dock easily. However, be sure to not let your opponent get there if you don’t have as big of a size.
  • Defending: You’ll be able to fit your entire army in there with some room to spare.
  • Battling: Both armies can fit here, and they’ll be able to knock off tactics one right after the other.
  • Size: GREAT room for size. It’s pretty big, and you’ll definitely be able to fit your entire army in there no matter what size you have.

Neutral, Neither Good or Bad

  • Invading: One of the armies will probably be there first. It depends on which side you’re one, but sometimes the invading army will get more size.

Bad Things, Cons

  • Retreating: You should never retreat to this room. If you do, the other army will be able to fit in there and you’ll have to retreat again.
  • Recruiting: Almost no one goes into this room. You’ll never get any rogues.

Overall: This room is pretty neutral, but leaning towards the good side. I’d recommend this when the army has big size.

Forts

Good Things, Pros

  • Battling: This room was made for battle. There are two forts for the protection of the soldiers, and it’s big enough to house two armies.
  • Defending and Invading: This category is basically the same as above. It’s perfect for battling.
  • Group Formation: This room is pretty big and can usually hold a large amount of people. Popular tactics include chat bar line and a line from the clocktower.
  • Size: Perfect room for size. It’s almost as large as the dock, and you’ll be able to hold two strong armies there.

Neutral, Neither Good or Bad

  • Recruiting: Not too good. A few penguins pass by to get to the plaza or town, and sometimes they’ll see you. Usually, if people know there’s a battle, they’ll come here first.
  • Retreating: Armies can usually predict that you’ll retreat to the Forts. It’s the perfect room for battle, so why not go there? However, your entire army will be able to fit there during a retreat.

Bad Things, Cons

  • None

Overall: This room was built for battle. It’s usually where armies are able to claim victory or admit defeat.

Plaza

Good Things, Pros

  • Defending: It’s great for use if you really can’t get another room. It has the same size as the town, and sometimes armies don’t go here.
  • Group Formation: Great for circles and lines!

Neutral, Neither Good or Bad

  • Size: You can fit a fair amount of penguins in this room, not too many though.
  • Recruiting: A few penguins pass by here, every now and then. It’s not as good as the town, though.
  • Retreating: Depending on where you are, it’s very predictable you’ll retreat here.

Bad Things, Cons

  • Invading: Not the best room to invade. No one goes there, and it’s really useless. Don’t bother even thinking about claiming the plaza.
  • Battling: Usually, when here, there are very few special tactics that you can perform.

Overall: Not the best room for anything, really. I wouldn’t recommend using it unless you absolutely have to.

Forest and Cove

Good Things, Pros

  • Size: Great size! They’re fairly large rooms.
  • Group Formation: They have a good knack for circles and lines. They even have some room-special tactics!

Neutral, Neither Good or Bad

  • Battling: There’s enough room for all of the armies.
  • Defending and Invading: Like I said above, there’s enough room for both armies and you’ll be able to get there first.
  • Retreating: If you get there first, the room will be victory for [put your army here!]

Bad Things, Cons

  • Recruiting: No one passes through these rooms unless there is a field op, pin, or special item there during a party.

Overall: This room is fair, but it all depends on what you’re doing while online.

Overall

Based on the things that I dsicovered about each room, I would rank them as follows…

  1. Town
  2. Forts
  3. Dock
  4. Forest and Cove
  5. Plaza

But like I say, it really depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.
