Well ACP, it was the first Practice Battle in a long time, but it was an overwhelming success! There was a great turnout for the battle, and it was a brilliantly entertaining one to watch.
I would firstly like to apoligise, I was alone judging, and whilst I went to catalogue pictures after I took them, there was either a charge or line or bomb I had missed, and there were certainly a few points that were unaccounted for. I am sorry for that, but remmeber its only a practice battle!
First of all the winner is…
Alpha! Who edge it by 12 points to 11.

Echo 6 – 5A succesful Echo cake bomb, extending their lead. Echo 7 – 5Alpha succesfully take the Forest. Alpha 6 – 7Alpha line with Hearts. Alpha 7 – 7Alpha start to pull ahead with a well executed Spit bomb. Alpha 8 – 7Echo retaliate though with a great Hamster Bomb. Echo 8 – 8Alpha oatmeal bomb. Alpha 9 – 8Echo pull back yet again with an Awsome bomb. Echo 9 – 9Another Awsome bomb puts Echo ahead, its starting to get close now. Echo 10 – 9Alpha bring it back again with more hearts. Alpha 10 – 10An Alpha hello bomb. Alpha 11 – 10Echo attempt to claw it back with an Awsome Bomb. Echo 11 – 11But Alpha bring it home with one final line with hearts. Alpha 12 – 11
Well ACP, I think I speak for all when I say that this was a thoroughly enjoyable battle. After we finished, we went to the town and did some recruiting:
Well done to all that came out and took part! Especially to the Division Generals and 3iC’s that led their divisions. We now know that we have plenty of excellent leadership down the ranks, and these practice battles will be fantastic for experience.
Don’t forget about our next Practice Battle tommorow (Thursday) where Echo are alone against Gamma and Alpha, and maybe they can prove that they should be the winners!
