[APRIL 2020] Troop of the Month

Hey ACP,
Welcome back to our 3rd TOTM since ACP re-inaugurated on CPR! With the hectic war schedules these last couple of days, this TOTM really took into account troop event activity. Without further ado, lets announce the TOTM for April 2020
What qualifies for TOTM?
– Activity in ACP chat
– Activity in attending events
– Involved in the ACP community
– Has taken initiative in certain areas
This month, Henry_VI has been chosen as the TOTM for her activity in attending events (attending a whopping total of 61 events this month!), and the enthusiasm she always brings to our chat and events. She’s also put additional effort into recruiting, working hard to make all new troops feel welcomed. Henry actively participates in all our games and gives amazing suggestions at how to make ACP better!
Here’s an interview for everyone to get to know Henry_VI better!

CSY: Hi Henry, can you quickly introduce yourself to the troops of ACP?
Henry_VI: Hey y’all! I’m Henry_VI, the patriotic Canadian! XD
CSY: How did you find out about the ACP? How long have you been here? Any previous experience with armies?
Henry_VI: I found out about the ACP when my friend sent me an invite link and said “pls join.” I joined ACP in December 2019, but I didn’t really do anything until February. ACP is my first army!
CSY: Why do you think you were voted Troop of the Month?
Henry_VI: I guess I was voted TOTM because I’m active in chat. I also joined ACPRF to help others join greatness and have fuN!
CSY: What do you enjoy most about CPR? What do you enjoy most about armies?
Henry_VI: I love all the minigames in CPR and the fact that you can get stamps for playing it! About armies, I really like how they all have their differences that set them apart, but they’re all the same in a way.

CSY: What is your favorite memory in the ACP?
Henry_VI: I love and cherish every single memory in the ACP, but if you ask me to choose just one, I’d have to say my favourite memory is when I mistook a cat for a bunny and Paddy made a meme about it. It’s pinned in #voice-chat-transcript if you want to see it. 😀
CSY: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Henry_VI: In my free time, I like being on Discord, playing CPR, reading, and trying to draw. I really can’t draw. Also, I like to chat with my friends online since the pandemic won’t let us talk in person
CSY: What’s a secret that no one knows about you yet?
Henry_VI: I guess a secret worth telling would be that I’m an academic nerd. A really big one.

HEY TROOPS OF ACP!
Wow! This week was so chock full of intense battles, drama, etc. Just at the end it starts to settle down as we enter the groovy stage of building the Army of Club Penguin! We fought in a world war, which overall cpa size was huge! With all the confusion and hatred towards eachother past months, its finally time for all of us to grow and mature as troops! lets wind down, relax, and put our feet up for this recap.

IMPORTANT: Declaration of Independence

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin, and the entire CPR community.
The Army of Club Penguin is officially declaring independence, effective immediately.
World War Rewritten is over. A ceasefire now exists between the Army of Club Penguin and the Rebel Penguin Federation. Help Force and PIC have agreed to end the war.
It’s time for us to focus on ourselves, and enjoy the amazing community we have built over the past seven months. As of May 2nd, 2020, ACP officially declares independence. This means we will not be engaging in any conflict regarding the community, we will not further engage in conflicts regarding territory, and will remain neutral in all army affairs whilst working internally.
ACP will from now on run by itself, and only acknowledge our own territory. This includes Mammoth (CPR and CPATG) and Breeze (CPR).

Ceasefire between ACP and RPF

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin
The war with the Rebel Penguin Federation is officially over. This has been an extremely interesting war for both sides, but it’s time ACP really worked on ourselves, like we intended to after the tournament.
ACP will once again be focusing on ourselves. The purpose of this community is for a place for everyone to enjoy and have fun. Amid the coronavirus outbreak globally, we don’t want people to be stressed in real life, and be stressed online. We made mistakes, but now it’s time to correct them and rebuild our community.
Thank you for all soldiers that came out to support ACP in the time of war.

The Army of Club Penguin successfully defended Alpine from RPF. We maxed 34 soldiers! However, this battle was slightly closer in numbers but ACP still came out on top resulting in a WIN for ACP. Let’s keep pushing through and win this war! 5 clovers if you came, DM Me, Zelly to obtain them!

The Army of Club Penguin successfully invaded the RPF’s server they recently took from Chaos, Deep Freeze. We maxed 35 soldiers! However the battle was slighlty closer with us losing the Ice Berg, resulting in a score of 2-1. Lets sharpen up for our next one! 5 clovers if you came, DM Zelly to obtain them!

Response to LGA’s Declaration of War

Addressed to The Lime Green Army
The Army of Club Penguin is now declaring war back against the Lime Green Army
ACP is here to DEFEND FREEDOM, PRESERVE JUSTICE.
we also don’t like your terms
No invasions between 12 AM EDT and 8 AM EDT may be permitted
If you can state WHEN your army gets attacked, why not just declare LGA auto victory on all terms, or declare that ACP are not allowed to defend or they forfeit the war? that’s why we bring you the following terms… (in which you have to consent to because you’ve broken our peace treaty)
The ACP hereby set the following rules:
1. No invasions between 12 AM EDT and 8 AM EDT may be permitted
2.Alternative accounts (alts) are prohibited
3. No harassment of troops allowed
4. Rooms for the battles must be scheduled ahead of time. No warming up in any of the scheduled battle rooms
5. Both armies must give a 24 hour notice for an invasion via Discord, Only 2 invasions permitted within a day.
6. LGA cannot invade ACP from 8 am EDT, to 12 AM EDT
(your set terms +1)
If troops breaking these terms are found, all of LGA’s land will be surrendered to ACP and LGA’s invasions for 3 months will be rendered invalid.
