Sorry if I’m “abusing my power”, but nobody really posts about these mass recruitment things anymore.  So if I don’t , nobody will…

Okay, here are the dates for the next two mass recruitments, which are the last two that have been scheduled (these are copied from the CP Army Council site):

6. ST – 8/1/09

7. BP – 8/5/09

Now, the ST’s is on the same day as our practice battle.  However, after checking the ST site, it appears that they’re at war with us or something…  Again, not my thing to deal with. 

Well, that’s all for now.  And by the way, if you don’t see chapter 11 of Packer’s story out soon, it’s because chapter 11 was deleted, and he would appreciate it if nobody asks him “Where’s the next chapter?” on chat.

ACP- PLEASE READ AND  COMMENT BELOW, THANK YOU.

Mr. Bear’s Story Part 2 is now out here. There is also a contest going on. The link is on top of the Part 2 post.

During the next 6-8 weeks, a new nations page will be written. A new government will emerge from this document. Here are the big major changes coming to ACP. Nearing the conclusion of my 6-8  month term as the leader of ACP, I will announce the election for the leader of ACP. A safe and legitimate election for the leader of ACP will occur.  At this time all soldiers ranked general and above will be eligible to run for the leadership spot if they so chose.  Only members of ACP may run and or vote for the position and cannot be a retired, fired or suspended member. Saint has agreed  to work on, and with  Boomers help we will forge a new way to insure a fair and safe electorial system for the elections. Once the new leader is elected, he or she will then select the new co-leaders for his or her  6-8 month term. Before the transfer of leadership, and after the election of the new leader, the current leader will over see the election of the new senate. We will be electing 8 members of the senate, plus a vice president. You may not run for both senate and vice president of the senate, so choose your battle wisely. There will not be 8 blocks of nominees, but 1 block of all nominees, with the top 8 winning  a seat in the senate. The Senate VP will also be decided in the same elections with the same rules. Once the new Senate has been elected, the new leader will then have the ability to select one ACP member to be seated in the senate. This will provide some relief from losing the ability to select the VP. As always the President of the senate shall be the leader unless he or she  designates another for the position. Once the old leaders term is complete, the new leader and senate will assume their positions and begin their 6-8  month term, (length decided by the leader),  untill the cycle begins anew. The Senate will be using the protocol to be laid out by Dr. Nono jr. The senate will decide all functions of the DRACP with the leader having final say unless vetoed by a 3/4 majority of the full senate. There will be no Senate decisions pertaining to the Army, I.E….War, Demotions, firings, suspensions or  promosions, to include promotions to moderaters on chat, or the addition of any leadership spots. There will be tight provisions for impeachment of the Leader, to be determined by the senate in coming meetings. As any past or present leader can attest to, many decisions are made on a split second, and the advantage of hindsight becomes inherently unfair. No leader shall be forced to govern under the stress of fearing a coup or impeachment. He or she must be allowed to lead with the betterment and saftey of ACP first and formost in his or her  decisions.  If at any time, a problem arises that has not been provided for in the new ACP government, the leader shall first endevour to resolve it to the majoritys satisfaction, failing that, the senate shall vote and will have the binding word, only after the leader has turned the matter over to the senate VP. This new government shall begin the transition upon Saints retirement, and be fully functioning upon Dryvits retirement in 6-8  months from that date, or earlier if decided upon by the leader/senate. The retiring leader may not run for re-election to the leadership spot of ACP, how ever if selected and chooses to do so, may serve as a co leader or be elected to the senate provided he or she has not retired. No leader shall be afforded a vote in the election to succeed him or her.

TyloV5 Edit: Well, we had GREAT numbers for such short notice (parshally because I was yelling what was going on on ACP chat, but hey, whatever works).  I’m glad we got to help out the Romans, and thank everyone who was there!

Hey, it’s TyloV5.  Well, I know it’s the leader’s job to post this stuff, but I guess they didn’t know about it.  So:

There is mass recruiting for the Romans today!  Here’s the info that I copied from the RPF site, which was copied from the Roman’s site:

Server: Ice burg (note to Acp, more to saint and co leader, I have two servers to offer in exchange for ice burg, since oagal took it from us with no invasion, and its better than us invading.)

Rooms: Town, Docks, Plaza, Cove, Beach and Forest

Day: 7/29/09, Wednesday

2:00 pm Pst and Pacific

3:00 pm Mountain

4:00 pm Central

5:00 pm Eastern

Now, this leads me to believe that, unless they’re lying, we gave ice berg to the wrong army…  I’ll let Dryvit sort this one out…

Also, to the ACP leaders, you guys (and me too) can only be there for thirty minutes, unless you decided that you don’t want to go the the meeting with the next gen leaders.

For the first time in a long time, I would like to announce a new Practice War!  The battle will be Echo vs. Delta vs. Alpha ina  server wide battle on Klondike.  Each division will start in a room (base).  When the battle begins the divisions will be able to move around the server and battle their fellow divisions.  Judges (all of the leaders who can make it) will be around the server giving points to teams who are using strategies and skills that count for points.  At the end of the battle (the battle will be a half hour long) whichever division with the most points wins.  For times and more info, read the next section of this post below.

Server: Klondike

Alpha Base: Ski Village

Delta Base: Town

Echo Base: Cove

NOTE: Each Division leader must give commands from their own division chat.  Also, the 1st and 2nd Generals will be leading this battle.

In the early days of CP warfare, the legend holds that ACP took possession of the server Ice Berg by less then honorable ways. Since that time, the original and guess you could say true owners have wanted it back. Do to our sheer size, they had no way to reclaim it the honorable way, the way we should have claimed it. Much later, we still have a great size advantage over the true owner. They approached us with a deal to trade 2 of their servers just to get Ice Berg back. I discussed this with Saint, our Leader, and we agreed they deserve to reclaim Ice Berg and not have to sacrifice  2 of their servers to do so. So ACP hereby rescinds all claims to the server Ice Berg, and returns it to it’s rightful owner. THE WATEX WARRIORS. I know WW will keep it safe and use it well. If ACP had any land grants out on Ice Berg, I am sure WW will honor those if you contact,  Green, Tone or Luc, the WW leaders.

Well, for all of you who don’t know me, my name is TyloV5, and I’m a master general in the ACP.   Now, the title of this post is self explainatory.  It’s my first post on the ACP site (my speech about retirement doesn’t count, because even though I wrote it, Shab posted it).  And I just want to say some stuff.

I’m a contributor on the site so I can post who the graduates for the ACPTR are every month.  This way it’s easier for the leaders to find-out who needs to get promos and to what rank due to their performance in the ACPTR.  That’s all for that…

Next, if you are in the Delta Division, check the site.  There are two important posts for you to read!

If you see someone called “Dobby” on chat, it is me.  And if you happen to be a certain “Mr. Smurf” (maxthepen), I will steal your socks.  Okay, enough of that…

Ktman: HUGE Practice Battle coming soon!  Stay tuned for more info!

The soldiers of ACP decided to claim a new server off Club Penguin. So ACP hereby declares the brand new server  “Dry Ice”  to be sovereign ACP land.  This is mostly in name only as it is a safe chat LOL.  Any other army that wishes to share it, we will gladly do so.  So let the new server party begin, using safe chat. Boy recruiting is going to be tough there : /

As the new VP, I may run things a bit differently. Meetings will still be every 2 weeks, and the next elections will remain, as scheduled, this December. I don’t know how meetings were run in the past, but I’d assume they’re different from my idea. I emphasize the word “idea” because we’ll just try this and see how it works before permanently implementing it. Here’s my idea for the meeting structure:

1. Open Discussion

For a minute or two, the senators discuss whatever they need to in order to prepare for the meeting.

2. Presentation

The meeting is called to order. The senators take turns presenting bills.

3. Discussion

Once a bill has been presented, take a few minutes to discuss it.

4. Voting

Once discussion is over, the bill is voted upon. Majority rules, so if more than half of the senators approve of the bill, it’s passed. Go back to step 2 and repeat until all bills have been voted upon.

5. Brainstorming

Once all the bills have either been passed or shot down, brainstorming begins. It lasts as long as it needs to. The senators discuss how to solve problems the ACP is currently dealing with.

6. Press Release

Once brainstorming is done, the meeting is over. I make a post on the ACP site summarizing the meeting and what was decided.

Dryvit Edit:  I have carefully reviewed each and every rank complaint comment. As I said I made some mistakes and those were corrected. Some were over looked and I apologize for that, and have promoted them. Others received a promotion and still felt the need to complain. Those soldiers I do not understand. I feel those people will never be happy with any promotion. To the very high ranks that did not get promoted, I apologize. There is very little room to move up once you reach the high ranks. If you missed this month, you will not miss next month unless it is by your choice. Please review your ranks and I hope everyone, ( but 1 or 2 ) will be happy.  Promotions are now closed for the month. Thanks.

Well ACP here they are. The promotions. This was my first time ever doing the promotions and I tried very hard to be fair and balanced with all the ranks. I requested all Warrant officer and below to comment on why they deserved a promotion, and all who commented were promoted. The higher ranks were very difficult. So many good active soldiers for so few spots. I did the best I could but I am sure I made some errors. All I ask is you give me a chance to correct them before you feel you were slighted. Just comment below this post and explain your reason for deserving a promotion. I cannot promise all who comment will get their wish , but I do promise to consider each comment before deciding. That is all I can do. Out of 1500 plus soldiers, with over 500 active, I cannot make everyone happy, I truly hope the soldiers understand that. Without further ado, you will already find the ranks page updated with the new ranks. Congrats to all who earned their promotion.

2nd Response: What does making fun of Tylo have to do with bringing democracy to acp?

Response to Omega and the other dim headed people: Dryvit does not choose if there is an election for the next leader. Saint does. It is not that hard of a concept to understand for someone who claims to be so smart.

Dryvit has nothing to do with your whole campain because he has no control over how the next leader is picked. Saint just announced him to be the next leader when she retires so stop directing all posts and comments against him.

I would like to take this time to congratulate our July ACPTR  graduates. You Should be very proud of yourselves. You proved worthy of your new ranks due out July 31, 2009. In no particular order here are the Grads!
