Well that was interesting. Echo won at the end, but Alpha and Delta held strong throughout the battle and even gained the lead once! Final score was 5-4. I think we might have to fix the Divisions a little bit and give Delta and Alpha a boost. I might take over each division for a week and see if I can help with anything, or, maybe have someone else take over. We might see a boost. Of course we’ll have to have Boomer’s permission first 😉 .

This is how we started out when I got there o__o.

A/D 1-1 Echo

Alpha/Delta made an excellent charge to Echo while Echo(point for line) was lined against the Right. This got them two points eventually.

A/D 3-2 Echo

Echo made a charge to the top.

A/D 3-3 Echo

Echo followed the charge down to the bottom (I was kinda late on taking the pic Dx).

A/D 3-4 Echo

I think Alpha/Delta got a point for a good line, but my copy and paste cut off the bottom so it’s not worth posting D:.

A/D 4-4 Echo

Echo then got a point for size, as Delta/Alpha had decreased in size rapidly.

A/D 4-5 Echo

Yeah so it was okay, happy birthday Boomer! I think we could have gone a bit longer. I’m taking way too long to write this post so bye!

Wow that was fun, eh? Sorry to everyone who came on time, we went a little early, there might be a Recruiting Session still at the Town. We did pretty well! Our circle wasn’t that great but that’s because we didn’t really have enough ppl to go around the whole room I think. We can work on that next time 😉 .

Here’s what happened:

First we grouped at the bottom and charged the Clock.

Then we made a circle (I didn’t get a pic D:) and charged the middle.

Then we regrouped at the Clock following with a Clover Bomb.

We then charged the bottom and formed into one of the best lines I have ever seen ACP do.

And then HE CAME. We followed ROCKHOPPER all the way to the Cove and to his Ship, I’m so angry I saved over a clover picture we did on the ship!

And that’s about where we ended, I’d say we did pretty well and Rockhopper thinks so too 😉 . Don’t forget about tomorrow!

I must preface this Post by saying I was not on till the end of the battle. I had been lying in bed nursing a horrid headache. Nonetheless, had I been there, is there doubt the out come would have been the same? No one knows.

Point being, we cannot judge ACP or even the troops available at the moment a practice battle was called. Troops come in all types. Our grizzled veterans, our schooled officers and our eager to learn soldiers. We cannot gauge ACP as a whole by the mix of soldiers on chat at any one time.

The ability to do that is staggering in the odds. What might help in the future,  is to view the available troops on chat, the experience of those troops compared to what the “enemy” has available to them to even request a battle. If we see our chat is  not full, and those on are new and eager but lacking experience,  the invitation will be declined.

The way to attempt to cure that experience quotation is to 1. Push ACPTR hard, 2. Run non stop drills and practices ( this will most likely drive many away), or 3. Plan and execute drill practices, and run Practice battles on a semi weekly basis. We cannot run divisional battles until ALL soldiers are in a division, including those  who joined an hour prior to any battle.

So to say ACP was pathetic is a wholly untrue statement by the mere fact of the odds of  a chat being filled with experienced soldiers at any one time. Perhaps the lack of experienced soldiers, ( our fault, not theirs) led to a pathetic showing. All in all, I just want the fairest light shone upon those troops that made the battle. It has been over one year since ACP lost a scheduled battle, I think that alone speaks volumes of this army. Thanks.

Saint: These pictures are only at the time of when we were actually doing well, IF you were there you would have known that most of the time they either outnumbered us OR we were similar in size.

Edit: In defense of our soldiers who were positive we did win, I finally found someone with pics, and they seem to support your argument.  Thanks Goodwill.

I don’t think we lost the battle per se, but the turnout wasn’t great, so we need to work harder nonetheless.  The low turnout suggests we need to work on taking orders from leaders other than me, and we need to be more committed to getting on Club Penguin as soon as possible.  We would have been in trouble if that was an invasion.

Oagalthorp: Once upon a time the ACP lost a battle to the UMA. It was World War III, and we had our butts handed to us on a silver platter with a side of humble pie. But what did we do? Did we count our losses and give up? Did we let the UMA win the war?

No.

We worked our asses of to improve. We created a more effective uniform. We made a network of alliances. We improved on dozens of tactics. We recruited. We chose our fighting grounds. And what happened in out next confrontation? We used every possible strategy and advantage in our power to beat them. Did we win?

Yes.

In fact, we went on to win the entire war and reach the height of the ACP’s power. All because of one humiliating loss. So use this lesson to your advantage.

First off: WE LOST

Pathetic. One word about todays suprise PB. Heck it even surprised me, in many ways might I add. SW owned us, it’s true, don’t try to cover it up. Yes we came back near the end, and SW wants to call it a tie, but in my book that is a total failure.

We wont get away with this epic loss, we will work our butts off until I think we’ve had enough. This week I will schedule something EVERY DAY, and yes, it will be very hard due to finals this week for some of us. In basketball when we totally bomb something, like lay-ups or free throws, we run, run until we cry. So that’s what I plan on doing.

Yes I know Chat was silent for the most part, but I still believe what I think.

If I miss one of these recruitments/battles you will get a day off with me just by myself on CP recruiting for an hour.
