Over this past week, we have taken part in The Ragnarök Olympics against our allies, Water Vikings. Competing in many different challenges and battles it certainly proved to be innovative, and most of all, fun.
We thank Cobra for bringing up the idea of the joint Olympics, and also to Water Vikings for competing with us. Now, unto a recap!

The Announcement
The first day of the Olympics wasn’t an easy one for ACP. We started losing because we couldn’t manage to hold back the Vikings in the Animal Farm.

The score started [0-0-1] (win-tie-loss).

Day 2
Day 2 was a slow one, as we only had one challenge. It certainly was an incredible competition, though, where we started to show off our true colors. With Facu’s world record run, we managed to win the first challenge: Hydro Hopper.

This put the score at [1-0-1].

Day 3
Day 3 came by with another challenge, as we competed in Cart Surfer. Everything was sentenced by Water Vikings’ Pingo, who managed to earn 819 coins in a single run.

The score was now [1-0-2].

Day 4
Day 4 proved to be a more exciting one, with a new challenge, the Igloo Designing Contest, and a new type of battle: Search & Destroy.
The Igloo Designing Contest, whose theme was Fall, was swept by ACP, with the neutral judge deciding that Misaki’s igloo, a coffee shop, stood out from all others.

This put the score to [2-0-2].
Search and Destroy was an innovative idea presented to us by Cobra. A penguin from each army would hide as ‘bombs’, and both armies had to seek the other army’s bomb. When found, both armies fought in that room to detonate or deactivate the bomb, depending on who found it. With Tae hiding for ACP, and Pingo for WV, WV‘s bomb was found 2 times in the Stadium, with ACP detonating the bomb both times by winning the battle. ACP‘s bomb was found once at Town, with the room ending in a tie – meaning the bomb didn’t detonate. The Army of Club Penguin won the entire confrontation.

This put the score to [3-0-2].

Day 5
Day 5 was a day to take a break from Club Penguin. The challenge was an external game, and there was a competition in another game as a type of ‘break day’.
The challenge was the Dinosaur T-rex Game, which you can access by going completely offline and looking up something on Google. This challenge was won by Water Vikings’ Pingo, with a jaw-dropping score of 49,664.

This put the score to [3-0-3].
On the other hand, five members from each army played a game of Skribbl.io to earn a point for their army. After five rounds, Stevos from Water Vikings grabbed the win on an incredible lead.

This put the score to [3-0-4].
We also asked people if they liked jazz this day…

Day 6
Day 6 was an interesting one, with multiple points up for grabs. The challenge was a Fashion Contest, with the theme that was Winter Clothing. Then, both armies would fight in a one-room practice battle and a massive Card Jitsu Tournament, each worth 2 points.
The Fashion Contest was a hard one to just pick from our own server! Everyone had incredible outfits, but the neutral judge gave Misaki the win with her beautiful ice-skating clothing! This earned another point for ACP.

This put the score to [4-0-4].
As for the battle, sadly, it got cancelled at the last second. We still went through with the Card Jitsu Tournament, though, which turned out to be incredibly intense. Both an ACP & WV member reached the final. In the end, Virus from the Army of Club Penguin grabbed the point.

This put the score to [5-0-4].

Day 7
It is the second-to-last day, and both armies fought in Catchin’ Waves, but also in numbers.
For the challenge, both armies went against each other on Catchin’ Waves Survival. Facu grabbed the win with an astonishing score of 22,538, giving the point to ACP.

This put the score to [6-0-4].
ACP & WV competed in numbers. Who could garner the largest amount of troops for an unscheduled AUSIA event? This was an incredibly close contest, with the competition ending once the clock hit :10. In an extremely close call, one single ACP troop made it into the max picture, with the wrong tag. This helped us max 21, giving the Army of Club Penguin the win with a difference of one troop, as WV had 20 attendees. Truly nail-biting.
It is worth noting that my fellow co-leader promoted this event as my sacrifice, which was very weird. They also wore McKenzie’s mascot item, so they were dancing very weirdly.

This put the score to [7-0-4].
This day we also wore red toilets…

Last Day
On the last day, we presented a half-day challenge, which would end once the last encounter began to determine the winner of the Olympics.
The last challenge was Puffle Round-up, where thoma helped ACP gain another point with his score of 1090.

This put the score to [8-0-4].
To end the Olympics, both armies went into a battle. Not just any battle, though. In this battle, we battled on the Stage, which was an unused battle room before, and also the last room involved a battle of formations only. Both armies tied the first room, which was Stadium, then Water Vikings claimed victory at the Stage. This left it all to the last room, the formation battle. Incredibly, the Army of Club Penguin took the win with some of the best formations we have seen in a long time.
This made the battle a TIE.

This put the score to [8-1-4].
RESULTS OF THE RAGNARÖK OLYMPICS
The Army of Club Penguin is victorious, with a score of [8-1-4] (win-tie-loss).
As promised, those who attended throughout this week and were placed on the podium will receive a medal to showcase their participation during the Olympics and our victory.
Thank you to everyone who attended and participated, and we hope you enjoyed these innovative ideas.
Without you, our ideas wouldn’t be able to be put into play, so thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you also to our allies Water Vikings, for allowing us to compete against them and overall just having fun together – especially to Cobra, who brought up the idea of the Olympics a few months back.
We hope you keep attending, and see you in the next few weeks as we prepare for the fourth edition of Double Deck the Halls & another edition of the most coveted trophy of the season, Christmas Chaos.
