BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – As May arrives, we look back on the past month and celebrate what the Army of CP staff have selected as April’s ‘Moment of the Month‘.
The Army of Club Penguin staff team recently held a vote to establish what we believed to be the single ‘Moment of the Month‘ for April 2021. This includes moments that have resulted in a significant impact within our ACP community, be that be a war, retirement or promotion. So without further ado, we present the April moment and two runner-ups.
3. Shamrock Bulletin Hosts Color Wars and Spring Showdown Community Battles
Words by: Pungu
On the 9th of April, during ACP History Week, it was announced that the Armyof CP would be taking part in a replica of the Color Wars, the first ‘world war’ from the 2005 army community. It was a war that waged before the ACP opened their doors in 2006, and has become known as World War I. Very rough and ready tactics of throwing snowballs and chanting words back and fourth were used instead of the modern day tactics. In the recreation, ACP engaged combat with the Help Force, Water Vikings and the Silver Empire. The Army of CP maxed a total of 51 soldiers.
10 days later on the 19th of April, the community-wide Spring Showdown battle was announced. The general idea of this event would be the invited armies would fight 3 rooms, against 3 armies that they didn’t know about. ACP’s allies and enemies alike were invited to this battle. On the day, the 24th of April, ACP fought the Ice Warriors, the Help Force, and the Water Vikings. Overall, 10 armies joined the event, and 41 ACP soldiers attended.

2. ACP Claim #1 Spot On The Top Ten For Two Consecutive Weeks
Words by: Robot
During April, we saw the Army of CP host the history week which proved to be a huge success, the week was exciting for everyone and saw the ACP hit huge sizes which helped bring a new face to the top spot. This comes following a long absence for the ACP from the top spot, specifically since November 1st, 2020. This wasn’t the last we’d see however as the ACP managed to clinch the top spot for a second week in a row for the first time since the beginning of 2020 under Koloway, and broke the Ice Warriors and Rebel Penguin Federation’s iron grip on the top spot.
ACP also managed to beat all odds as CSY was away on leave and the army was being led by temporary commanders Max and Cubster. Following the return of CSY, we also saw the long overdue promotion of Kailey and the return of Robot to the rank of Field Marshal due to their contribution to the success of the army over the past month. It will be exciting to see whether the ACP will be able to continue their streak and clinch the top spot for another week? Or will they fall back down as the competition for the top spot intensifies?

1. Cubster and Max Promoted To Temporary Commander-in-Chief; Host ACP History Week
Words by: Actionspark
Earlier this month we saw two important events take place. Commander in Chief CSY took leave due to in-real-life responsibilities, and in his place, he left Field Marshal Max and Field Marshal Cubster as temporary Commander in Chiefs. Under them, the Army of Club Penguin history week took place. The history week was an important week, as it showed the new troops of this generation all the important and historical events that took place throughout the army’s history. Like the birth of the AUSIA division under Flipmoo, or the invasion of Fog during World War IV. Furthermore, we also had a “Colour wars” event to show how conventional battles were fought at a time when XAT and Discord didnt exist. More battles were also relived, and more enemies. Like the Nachos, the Romans and the Underground Mafias. More was told to the new soldiers, than just wars and battles. A very important moment in the army’s history was also retold, a coup D’etat. This week not only showed many key points in the army’s history but also resulted in us getting the top spot in the weekly Top Ten, for the first time since November of last year.
And there we have it – the Moment of April 2021 and accompanying runner-ups. As we now head into the fifth month of the year, what can we expect to occur? And what moment will top our listing at the end of it?
