BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – In the next edition of your new Saturday column: On This Week, we take a trip back to 2015 which saw the start of Club Penguin’s only “Haiku Day” event.
The focus of today’s “On This Week” is a one-time, short event on Club Penguin that was a celebration of “Haiku Day”. Back in 2015, the event started on Haiku Day itself, April 17th, and concluded 3 days later on April 20th.
The event was first hinted at in a poll on Club Penguin’s Blog in January of the same year, despite the fact that, at the time this screenshot was taken, it had the lowest number of votes.
The main attraction for the event was the option for players to meet Sensei! He made multiple visits each day to servers that were in English, Spanish and Portuguese servers!
And there you have it – a short but sweet event from Club Penguin’s past! I’ll be back next week with another edition of “On This Week”, taking a look at the past history of Club Penguin or Club Penguin Armies!
