Road From Recruit: Aurora

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – Welcome back to the latest edition of Road From Recruit, this time featuring a longtime staff member, Field General Aurora! How did she find the Army of CP?

Aurora first joined the army community back in July of 2019 with the Pirates. Throughout her army journey, Aurora travelled through the Help Force, the Underground Mafias Army, the Rebel Penguin Federation, the Army of CP, and the Lime Green Army. As of April 1st, 2020, Aurora joined the Army of CP staff team and worked her way up to her Field General position today.

To find out more regarding her decision to join the Army of CP, I reached out to Aurora for an exclusive interview.

How did you originally find the army community?

The CPO Staff advertised a Pirates event in the announcements channel so I decided to join. I also grew up on Xat so sometimes I’d end up at army chats because of my friend but I never joined until recently.

How did you find the Army of CP?

While I was inactive in the community in October 2019, I found the CPA wiki and came across the ACP page. That then led me to the Discord because I wanted to find out more about the army but I would not officially join until after I left HF.
RPF was allies with ACP at the time so I was allowed to dual enlist.

After leaving HF, why did you decide to join ACP instead of another army?

It was an army I was familiar with and I was also interested in getting more involved in the community by going to army events.

Do you have anything else to add?

Even though I’ve always been pretty overcompetitive, I’ve found that in this community that having a good team to work with and great friends is more important than reaching legend status.

It seems that ever since joining the army community back in July 2019, Aurora has been through a variety of armies before finally settling down in the Army of CP. Being a staff member for almost a year, Aurora has certainly proved herself to be a hard and essential worker of the staff team. Thank you Aurora!
