Road From Recruit: Daniel

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – The latest edition of Road From Recruit will be featuring General Daniel! How did he find the army community? Why did Daniel decide to join the Army of CP?

Daniel first began his army journey with the Golds before leaving only two weeks later to help create the Silver Empire. After reaching the position of Second in Command, Daniel left the Silvers to join the Army of CP on June 25th.

To find out more, I reached out to Daniel for a quick interview regarding his army journey.

How did you first find the army community?

The way I got recruited is pretty interesting honestly. I was playing CPO one day and got kinda bored, so wanted to look up a livestream of someone playing it, and TO MY LUCK Golds Leader, Bang, was streaming at that EXACT MOMENT I watched the entire livestream, which was in fact a Golds event! I participated in it, too. He also had a bunch of viewers for a Club Penguin stream which definitely caught my attention. Moving on, I don’t usually support content creators, but I enjoyed the stream so much I decided to go on his Discord and the one he was advertising (which was the Golds server) and in the blink of an eye I found myself in a Club Penguin army LOL (~~also those CPO coins that they gave out after events got me pretty interested too ngl~~ ) I’m unsure of the exact date of this, since the livestream got deleted when Bang left the Army community, just kinda remember it being March – April of last year

How did you find the Army of CP?

I had first heard of ACP when they joined the Penguin Saloon Army League, and when we saw they did we immediately tried to make an alliance with them (which was successful, and the alliance still stands to this day :0). I didn’t really consider joining until way later thought, when I left SE.

Why did you decide to join ACP?

When I left SE I started looking for another home, and I had some choices in mind. The one that mostly stood out was ACP, because Nacho, a very good friend of mine who I know all the way back from Golds, had joined ACP very recently at the time. He wanted me to join with him so I gave it a shot, and here we are

Do you have anything else to add?

I’d just like to say to the new ACP troops to enjoy your time here to the very best, since it’s really a once in a lifetime opportunity to join such an amazing community like the ACP has, and you get to meet so many awesome friends here!
