BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – Following Robot’s retirement from the Army of Club Penguin higher command this week, we are sad to wave goodbye to Zelly, who has announced she is stepping back into an advisory position.
Third-in-command Zelly has stepped down from her rank of General today in an emotional announcement made on the Army of CP Discord channel. She explained that “sometimes life just gets in the way” in the following statement: “I will be stepping down from HCOM as of tonight. It breaks my heart to do so but hey sometimes life just gets in the way, I’m just glad to have been able to be a part of this community and to become a member of the family along with the rest of you. I love you all and will forever remember not only the people I have met but the things I have learned with and from all of you.”
She gave a special shoutout to fellow General Kailey, as well as Robot and King Mondo, for being three of her closest friends here. She concluded by stating she would love to return in the future and have “another crack at it”.
There is no doubt that Zelly will be sorely missed here as she was very popular among the ranks of soldiers. After joining almost a year ago to the date, she worked hard to become the fastest ever moderator to reach the higher command position under the joint leadership of Kailey & CSY. From here, she continued to work hard and earned a promotion to Field Marshal on June 5th, although sometime later returned to the General position.
She was well-known for being the first ever voice chat leader during events and battles, and helping to create the popular Clover Chats Podcast. Following her retirement, leader CSY promoted moderator and long-time staff member ShadowSaint into the role of Recruitment Supervisor. He said the following in the announcement:
Shadow has been working behind the scenes diligently, to help keep our moderator recruitment up to date to help ACP run smoothly. To reflect this as well as her new increased involvement with supervising moderator recruitment, she has also been granted the recruitment supervisor role. Congratulations.
– CSY, ACP Leader
As we wish Zelly a loving farewell, I would like to say that it is an honor for me to write this article as we will miss you dearly. Thank you for all the work you have put in this past year to ensure the progress of the ACP community – we will miss your voice chat leading in battles and movie nights a lot!
