The staff team and I are pleased to announce the first formal AUSIA tournament to be held in the community slated for December 2020.
As the community prepares for the end of Flash support, and the end of a tumultuous year, we wanted to put together a community event that was unlike any other. The AUSIA community has been a strong backbone to armies as a whole since major armies started creating divisions dedicated to other parts of the world in 2013. They have carried armies in intense battles and wars, boosted armies in more ways than one, and have introduced a larger community to connect faces with each other across the entire globe. No longer were armies limited to the western world. It is time to finally acknowledge these voices and celebrate AUSIA through a tournament of their own. We are inviting any and every army that wishes to participate in this inaugural and one of a kind tournament. The tournament will begin on the 28th of November.
The very first installment of the Aces of AUSIA tournament will see anywhere between 10-20 armies pitted against one another in a four round tournament. Armies are seeded as per their AUSIA size points on the Top Ten provided by the Top Ten Committee. If an army who is interested in participating has not held an AUSIA event before, or not recently, they will still be able to participate and we encourage you do so. Any army has the right to decline this invitation. It should be noted that none of the battle times will conflict with the Christmas Chaos.
Army leaders and representatives for all armies will be approached by Mchappy within the next 24 hours. Please respond before Friday, November 20th or early Saturday, November 21st, as that is when the tournament schedule will be finalized and published the following Sunday. We will be reaching out to community members who would be interested in judging and are hoping to form some sort of cooperation with CPAH. I hope you are all excited about this as much as I am. This may be done by our community (ACP) but it is for the entire community to have fun.
