Hello ACP,
You wouldn’t believe how infuriated I am at the amount of bullying I witness on the ACP chat. This immaturity has caused us to lose so many new recruits and potential leaders. It has caused us to lose once great friends and now bitter enemies. Do you think it’s fun for some people to cry because of an online game that they have put so much time and effort into is now treating them like complete garbage? I sure don’t and I’m sure the people being bullied don’t appreciate it either. The worst part is the owners are just as guilty as the moderators and members.
THE SAME OWNERS that are supposed to be role models, the ideal soldiers and most well behaved personalities on chat are now causing people to feel seriously in trouble. This is a game for crying out loud, not a pre-school. Owners, you need to get a grip because if any one of you are caught bullying again, you will lose your ownership for a week. Mods, if you are caught bullying, you will lose your modship for a week. Members, if you are caught bullying, you will be banned for 24 hours. Do I make myself clear?
Cas, Light, retirees like Slider, you are certainly not exempt from this. I am embarrassed that I even have to say your names in such a post to convey this point.
I sincerely apologize to those who now see the ACP chat as a hostile environment and are afraid to come here as a result of bullying. I promise you however that you will not have to deal with this any longer because Tori and I and so many others have simply had it with this horrible behavior. I hope one day you can learn to trust the ACP chat again, and I hope more people are turned on to coming on to have friendly conversation like the old days.

Tori: I completely agree with Capn here. Although, I’d like to add a few things to show you how bullying can affect people, and say a few things about this topic. It wasn’t easy to witness a victim of bullying being brought to their breaking point. That victim was my brother. Long story, short – My brother was bullied to the point where he came home crying, and saying that he wanted to end his life. Not long after that, he said some things at school and ended up not being able to go home that day.
I waited for a few hours in the school office, only to find out that my brother was going to be sent to a mental hospital. He stayed there for a week. This isn’t because he is “crazy, has mental issues” or whatever. This was because he was bullied to the point where he has had enough, and wanted to end his life. This just shows how words can affect people. The saying, “sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me,” is completely false. Words do hurt. I mean, you must have such a perfect life, if you think you can pick on someone who doesn’t have one. Honestly, this generation is what makes me sick.
Put yourself in other’s shoes to get a better understanding of what their life is like, before you decide to pick on them. I bet you probably wouldn’t even last a day in their shoes. Yeah, sure. You may feel so confident and tough when you’re behind a screen, and miles away from the person; but how would it feel if you were the reason someone killed themselves? How would you feel if you were the reason someone cries themselves to sleep every night? Think about it.

When I announced I joined dcp by the time I was a mod, cas went ahead and banned me because of this i thought about resinging due to the actions of the owners. On dcp chat, if I were to say I joined an army like ar, they would of said good and NOT ban me, im glad that action is being taken

Wow Capn, I can’t belive that the friendly ACP that fights mean armies turned into a weak unfriendly army that is low in the CPAC Top 10. Just WOW I hope the ACP turns back into a friendly strong army.
Totally agree… I would like to name someone that bullied me, if its ok, and said a lot crude sexual comments to me. I was upset and almost never went on chat again. One reason this has created an enormous problem is that most of the owners and mods are not paying attention, AT ALL. This is a major turn-off for new recruits, and it’s rediculous. They always curse on nachoz chat and its so low-life. We don’t want to be like their chat.

I believe in fighting back, not telling anyone who’s a higher rank, because they force the bully to apologize to you and they force the 2 to become friends, well I’m sorry to say this but you can NEVER force someone to apologize and you can NEVER force enemies to become friends. I don’t apologize when forced nor do I accept forced apologies.

CP Illuminati happened a year ago. It was sort of funny then, but it’s gotten old now. Get the f*** over it.
The point I’ve been trying to tell everyone is basically the contents of this post. I banned the troublemakers who aren’t even in the ACP but harass ACP troops and disrupt the chat rules. (Approved by Tori) Yet they get unbanned because of a clueless owner.
I do my best to be the voices of the members and moderators on chat; and this is what happens after I disappear.
In other news, I had surgery and will be back in a few days.
When I come back, I’ll do my best to turn this army back to its original self.

Capn & Tori, Thank you for making this post. I will do whatever it takes to make pwople stop bullying recruits and troops,I think we should go stricter on the bullying rule because of this. Its emmbarising to find that my fellow owners are bullying too.

I really do appreciate that some people can get hurt over things, but this is just a game. To those who are doing the bullying, grow up. To those who are being bullied, I know some of you are young and don’t yet quite understand how things work, but it’s just a game. This is the Internet, we use it at our own risk, and we should anticipate bullying.
In no way do I commend bullying, but it is quite stupid at how things go from one to the other.
Take recent examples from the news. A girl committed suicide over some bullies on ask.fm. I see that the bullies are pathetic to bully somebody in such a way that they feel angered and suicidal, but I don’t see why, if people are being bullied, they just stop using the application.

A fellow candidate was bullying one of my supporters for my campaign, calling him my “pet”. This put people of voting and not only is it frustrating for me, but it is unfair on the loyal troop who did no wrong but is being picked on by a high ranked soldier.
ACP has always had trouble with bulling mods…. also what happien to reporting bullies to leaders
Finally, making ACP a good, friendly environment. This leadership is finally taking a turn for the good. Maybe we can finally stop losing soldiers to our enemies and other armies.
I don’t think ACP has a problem getting new recruits. I think our issue is keeping them ours.
Great way to step up to the leaders, Tori, Capn, and the rest of the ACP Owners, except those who are bullying. I am not impressed from any of you.
Cas, if you are included, you won’t even be the ACP Bunny Duck Jr, you won’t ever be able to call yourself that title or any related title, ever again.
And Tori, thank you for sacrificing a bit of your personal life to share with us, I think that is very brave and honorable of you. It is a perfect example of how bullying can effect us, and I hope this changes things for the better.
We need to strictly enforce this by adding a new rule with harsher punishments. And personally, I think sexual harassment is bullying, especially if the victim is being targeted because of their orientation.

You can try all you like to stop it, but you really need to be focusing on dealing with current situations and possibly setting up a way to report a situation anonymously.
Theres already a reports page but I was the only one who watched it as an owner.
