Lately we’ve had some serious issues in our chat involving people NOT in ACP being inappropriate and breaking our chat rules. I recognize we have “relaxed hours,” but that does not mean every line of text from all these individuals has to contain 2-3 undesirable words, line after line after line.
Enough is enough. If owners determine by good judgment that our “relaxed hours” are being abused, we do have the right to ask you to stop. If you don’t like this, then you are more than welcome to continue your inappropriate conversations in a different chat.
ACP chat is a privilege….not a right
and to be in our chat you must abide by the rules we have established. If it gets out of control, we do reserve the right to do what is necessary to correct these behaviors.
There are a few words that are not allowed in our chat 24/7 in any form of the word. It does not matter what context, it does not matter what part of speech it represents, it is not allowed period and will result in a 1 hour autoban unless it is determined to be severely nasty.
Current rule on n-word
For example, the other night someone, who I banned for an hour, kept saying the n-word. After I banned, I was attacked by another individual stating the person I banned was black, so it was OK. Sorry, but I don’t care what color you are, no offense. You could be rainbow with pink polka dots and gold glitter, our rule applies to EVERYONE that no form of the n-word is allowed. Then this person then tried to tell me it was OK because the context was as if “hey bro,” like a buddy. We do not allow this word in respect to everyone in our chat regardless of ethnicity, culture, or context. There is not double standard. Again, if you do not like our rules, then you are free to go to another chat.
ACP chat is a privelege and not a right and we will take necessary action to keep it safe and appropriate for everyone–relaxed hours or not.
NOTE: The individuals mentioned above were not in ACP and repeatedly cry “abuse” as a form of manipulation and peer pressure to get what they want and cause trouble. Be firm, it’s our chat.

I agree, but I think “double censors” should be allowed when just swearing (and not insulting, that’s never allowed), double censors being something like <scrf*** because it puts it in a censor box but it's censored again.
But yeah, I try to punish people who swear recklessly like this, but some Mods do it too…

I totoally agree. Our chat should not be relaxed at all if we want some CP noobs to join though. They would tell their parents about what you guys were saying and the poor kid wouldn’t be allowed to join. Just saying…
