Just recently I had the incredible honor of receiving the ACP Bronze Medal Award at the same time that the great Flipper7706 received the ACP Medal of Honor. I was so happy and proud of him because he earned such a prestigious award that not many had received in ACP. I realized though that most of ACP does not know anything about the ACP Medal of Honor, including myself, other than you have to be an outstanding leader that made amazing contributions to ACP.
I decided to research the ACP Medal of Honor for a post on my PositivelyACP: Everything For the Good of ACP blog to educate and hopefully inspire ACP soldiers to work towards Medal of Honor greatness. In my research, I discovered that retired ACP Supreme Commander Kenneth1000 did not receive the ACP Medal of Honor! This is a wrong that must be made right because I do believe that Kenneth1000 has indeed earned the ACP Medal of Honor and it should be bestowed upon him immediately. I initially thought no one these days were worthy of MoHs until I stumbled upon his leadership while just reading in the ACP archives. So I decided to look in further…
Therefore, this post serves as dual purpose: to educate and inspire ACP about our most prestigious award, the Medal of Honor, and to nominate and successfully award Kenneth1000 the Medal of Honor he has earned and deserves.
What is the ACP Medal of Honor?
The Medal of Honor is the highest award created by Oagalthorp, ACP retired Supreme Commander and Creator of ACP. Oagalthorp himself states, “ The Medal of Honor is given to all troops in the ACP that show exceptional dedication, bravery in battle, and help in any great way necessary. The ACP Medal of Honor is the greatest award in Club Penguin military. He continues on by stating, “the key for determining when the Medal of Honor is deserved is when someone goes above and beyond to help ACP in a time of crisis or at a time when it really mattered.”
Boomer says about the ACP Medal of Honor, “It exemplifies all of the characteristics of an ACP soldier. Brave, loyal, dedicated, and gives everything they have for the good of the army no matter what challenges stand in their way.” Boomer also says that the Medal of Honor recipient must exhibit “great leadership” and states, “I think it is most important for a leader to shine when he is faced with adversity or greatly challenged, and the Medal of Honor is a recognition of sort of ‘rising to the occasion’ to lead the army to victory.” For example, leading the ACP into a battle where the odds are greatly against us, but the leader jumps in with great attitude and gives it everything they’ve got anyways. Boomer summarizes it so eloquently, :Moments like those are where true leaders shine and heroes are born. That is what the Medal of Honor signifies.”
As far as duration of time of outstanding service required to receive the Medal of Honor, Oagalthorp says, “For a Supreme Commander to lead the ACP for over a year shows extreme dedication and care for this army. It’s deserving of reward.” Shab, however, adds, “someone with a Medal of Honor should continue to show that they deserve it other than just for a period of time.” I totally agree.
So as you can see, the ACP Medal of Honor award is a very prestigious award, showcasing the best, of the best, of the best, of ACP. In fact, not many Medal of Honor awards have been presented in ACP, but I do believe that Kenneth1000 has earned one, just as our great award winners of the past. This award is highly honored and prestigious. Please believe me that I realize not just anyone can get this award. Fewer than 30 people out of the hundreds of people that have been in the ACP received the MoH.
I have researched Kenneth1000, who was Supreme Commander in ACP when I joined and who I worked closely with for my first 8 months in ACP. I will present to you many amazing contributions that Kenneth1000 made to ACP and still continues to do so.
Kenneth1000 first joined in mid April of 2009 under Supreme Commander Boomer and is still serving in ACP currently, that is almost 4 years of dedicated, loyal service. He has always been loyal to ACP and sacrificed so much of himself to be the best soldier and Supreme Commander he could be and encouraged others to do so by motivating them and being an exemplifying role model to others. As we we all know, the responsibilities of being and ACP Supreme Commander are many and the dedication and devotion to leading this army is tremendous: scheduling, leading, observing, posting, organizing, maintaining ACP site and chat, doing the join page, motivating, supporting, spying, communications, analyzing, strategy, problem solving, conflict resolving, and the list goes on. Kenneth1000 did this and more during his reign as ACP Supreme Commander from March 27, 2011 to July 1, 2012. He has given hundreds of his own hours for the benefit of the ACP and still continues to do so today. Kenneth obviously didn’t have to. He could have improved his schoolwork or spent time with friends among other things, but he didn’t. He did it not for himself but ultimately for the ACP . Kenneth has surpassed Oagalthorp’s expectations for a Medal of Honor awarded solely for length of leadership. He lead more than and year, and along with Flipper they were the 2nd longest leading leaders that ACP has ever had. Even leading longer than Boomer and nearly Oagalthorp himself. Ken has lead the ACP for about a sixth of its entire existence.
Kenneth1000’s contributions to ACP and accomplishments are many. He is the highest ranking Canadian in ACP ever. His drive and determination earned him one of the first A+ graduates in ACPTR, setting the standard for all of ACP. He was also one of the first hand-picked mods in the history of ACP. For a brief time he was even handpicked owner! His dedication and loyalty showed when he proudly became SSACP General, earning the Top Spy Award for dedication. Kenneth1000 created our amazing ACPSIS program too which still operates to this day and he is still highly involved in. His astounding accomplishments prove he is worth of receiving the Medal of Honor.
What about contributions and achievements during his service as ACP Supreme Commander? As stated before, the responsibilities of being Supreme Commander are many (listed above) and Kenneth1000 performed his responsibilities with high quality and success. In fact, Kenneth1000 consistently kept ACP at NUMBER 1 for his entire leadership among large CP armies. This is a task not to be taken lightly because to perform these duties and keep ACP at number 1 for that extended length of time against other fine armies takes immense effort, loyalty, devotion, sacrifice, and dedication. Furthermore, he led ACP victoriously through countless wars and through Purple Republic (PR) crisis. During a war with the Nacho Empire in 2011, Kenneth planned most, if not all, of War Plan Oagal with Flip, which brought down the Nacho Empire in no more than two weeks if not even shorter. During the invasion of Fjord he and Flipper maxed around 60 troops which was quite a feat during this period in CP armies. Kenneth along with the rest of the leadership and army faced their true test when they fought Light Troops and Nachos who were I believe the 2nd and 3rd strongest armies respectively on the Top 10. He lead ACP and helped ACP survive almost a two month war with many battles a day. The odds were obviously against him and the ACP, things looked dire and troubling for the ACP, but it was him along with Flipper who successfully lead ACP out of that war with a victory. Kenneth proudly, successfully expanded the ACP Empire as well. He maintained the territorial integrity of the ACP and kept up ACP ‘s reputation as a well-known and feared army. For the duration of his reign, he maintained high numbers of troops at events and active. These numbers vary between 45-55 troops.
Things weren’t always coming up clovers during his leadership and through those ups and downs, Kenneth1000 was there standing shoulder-to-shoulder with his troops. He gave emotional, inspirational, and motivational support to his troops. He was a great listener and gave much of himself to help and encourage his troops having any issues or problems within Club Penguin, CP armies, or in real life. He helped keep ACP together and strong during the leadership conflicts between Flen and Shab in February 2012. If you read his amazing posts, you will see he entertained and kept spirits/morale high in ACP‘s toughest times. Kenneth1000 cared not only about the game, but he cared for his troops and went above and beyond the call of duty to keep ACP strong and growing during turbulent times.
Kenneth1000 gave a lot of himself to others, his loyal troops. He made great sacrifices for the good of ACP. For example, he said that he would be retiring and stepping down from his reign of Supreme Commander on June 1, 2012. Instead of retiring as planned, he stayed for another month until July 1, 2012 because there was a sad crisis in ACP. Kenneth1000’s co-leader Flipper7706 who was in charge of ACP‘s UK troops had disappeared unannounced and nobody knew what happened to him. Kenneth1000 could have retired as planned but stayed, fighting through yet another ACP war and trying to fill in, performing double duty, with the absence of Flipper7706, who we later found out was mourning the sudden loss of a loved one.
During this time, I was in close, personal communication with Kenneth1000 and he was filled with anguish over the disappearance of his best friend, Flipper7706. He was so distraught and filled with worry that it affected every aspect of his life. He, himself, seemed to be mourning the possible loss of Flipper7706, yet he stayed strong in the public eye, worked twice as hard during war time, and performed both his and Flipper7706’s duties successfully. Finally, Flipper7706 after many days off, not knowing if he was alive and well, made contact with ACP and Kenneth1000. Flipper7706 came back and the dream team of “Flen” (Flipper + Kenneth) was again unified as Kenneth1000 helped his best friend through his grief. It was such a sad, dark time for Kenneth1000, but he remained brave and strong for ACP. On July 1, 2012, he finally retired along with his best-friend Flipper7706 as Supreme Commanders of ACP. He left ACP as a strong army and at number one. Just the week before, he himself and the ACP captured Mammoth with around 50 troops.
After retiring ACP, Kenneth1000 took a short break, becoming less active as he was dealing with the emotions involved in retiring from something he devoted so much of his energy and himself to. Also, shortly after he retired, ACP began a nose dive. It was by no means Kenneth1000’s or Flipper7706’s faults. It was because of the low morale and insecurities within ACP troops due to the short, quick, numerous leadership changes that followed, plus the heavy wars ACP was battling during these changes. Other armies knew we were having difficulty with the leadership transitions and took advantage of our vulnerability by declaring back-to-back multiple wars. After the Flen leadership retired, Slider got leadership and retired 7 hours later. Slider handed the reigns to Icey Cold27 (aka Mchappy) who did an amazing job with ACP for 2 weeks until he went AWOL (Absent With Out Leave) for 10 days during war and scandals and controversies. ACP was at a loss without leadership, but we took the reigns best we could and held on. When Icey Cold27 showed up again, he immediately retired leaving leadership to Kingfunks4. Kingfunks4 brought a little stability and morale back to ACP, but after a short amount of time of being leader (2 weeks?), he suddenly, unexpectedly, and unannounced left for a 2 week vacation. We found out about his leave from a post he left the day he left on the ACP site. Kingfunks4 left EK and Capncook in charge as temporary Supreme Commanders.
ACP was at an all time low at this time. Morale was non-existent and all anyone wanted to do was gripe and complain in chat about how nobody was doing anything when the whole time ACP was the solution to our own problems! Instead of complaining and arguing, ACP should be recruiting, rebuilding, training, and building strong bonds with one another. I posted several times on my blog Positively ACP trying to inspire, guide, and motivate troops, see “We Are the Solution,” and telling them the only way out of our depression is to take charge and each and every one of us to unite and work hard on recruiting, events, etc.
During this time of ACP‘s great depression, Kenneth1000 saw what was happening also and jumped back into ACP with both feet to help. He observed the situation, identified the problems, came up with solutions, and wrote a post about it. The leaders would not post it on the ACP site stating it was too negative, but I proudly posted it in full form on my blog Positively ACP. His post addressed many issues and gave solutions, it was valuable and insightful. He didn’t sugarcoat anything, he was direct and precise. Kenneth1000 used his long term experience in ACP and as Supreme Commander to write this insightful, inspirational post to the army he loved. He became very active again and was granted permission to once again post on the ACP site to help boost the morale and help bring back defective soldiers in ACP.
Currently, Kenneth1000 is extremely active again in ACP as a General and many of our troops look up to him, are inspired by him, and respect him. He is on chat even more than some of the owners above him! He still keeps up with Shab’s words that “someone with a Medal of Honor should continue to show that they deserve it other than just for a period of time.” His presence alone will help get people in chat to log into Club Penguin for an event. To this day you can still often find him motivating and encouraging soldiers on Club Penguin and helping the leader repeat orders or leading when no one is giving out orders. He is posts on the ACP site sometimes, especially when the owners sometimes forget to post. He also eagerly does the join page when the owners have missed it and volunteered to do Funks’s join page day to take some of the load off him. Kenneth also helps maintain the site by organizing the posts. Not long ago the ACP might have lost Klondike if Kenneth did not take it upon himself to look on the Pirates site and post. The ACP could have lost another precious server again if Kenneth did not sticky his post back because everyone forgot.
Kenneth does all that yet he is a General. He has clearly stepped up and shown initiative by doing things that are way above the expectations of his rank. That is the kind of stuff I believe is Medal of Honor worthy. Kenneth continues to provide insight and advice to the ACP leadership and remains a extremely friendly soldier who often will talk to lower ranks. If you don’t believe me you can ask some of the members who are now mods in the ACP People like Mr. Waffle, CPMaster10123, and I all can vouch for the fact that Kenneth was a very sociable leader with his troops and that he continues to be very helpful and kind to the newer troops.
Once in ACP, always in ACP. Once you put your heart into something and dedicate yourself with everything you’ve got, it becomes a part of you and lives within your heart and mind forever more. This is not only for me, but for Kenneth1000 as well, and hopefully for all of ACP. Whether you agree with me or not that Kenneth deserves a Medal of Honor, it is the truth that he is a dedicated ACP soldier who will go to great long lengths to help the ACP.
Kenneth is humble and has never asked for any rewards for his service to the ACP . Although he carried the same weight as Flipper, he was never voted leader of the year or anything like that. Kenneth’s contributions were sadly overlooked by many which is tragic. I was told he only came back from his inactivity in fall of 2012 because he felt the ACP was in some serious trouble and that he could maybe help. How would you feel if you worked hard and well and dedicated yourself to something for more than a few years and get no recognition of it? That might be how Kenneth felt and it isn’t a good feeling at all. There are many people in the ACP that believe Kenneth should get a Medal of Honor, believe me, may support my effort.
Concluding, I do believe based on the requirements for being awarded the ACP Medal of Honor, that for all these contributions, sacrifices, and achievements I’ve presented before you, that Kenneth1000 is deserving of the ACP Medal of Honor. All of Kenneth’s achievements may not seem much individually but when put together which is where it counts, Kenneth has shown immense dedication and love for the ACP. Just look through his posts throughout his leadership. His words show his dedication. Kenneth might even soon be one of the longest continuously serving ACP soldier in history if he keeps up with his service to the ACP. It would be a great injustice for Kenneth’s contributions to go unrecognized.
After almost four years of loyalty/dedication in the ACP and spending more than one year as good leader, he has nothing to show for it, which is wrong. Not many can say they lead the ACP for over a year and that wasn’t the only thing he has done. Saint, Mazachster, Flipper, and Dr Nono Jr all received a Medal of Honor, but why doesn’t Kenneth deserve one when he has done just as much if not more work for the ACP than they did? With more than a year of leadership and many years of service to the ACP as an owner, mod, and member, I am calling for the immediate bestowing of the ACP Medal of Honor upon our great retired Supreme Commander, ACP soldier, and friend Kenneth1000. Please read this post more than once if you need because it might take a while for everything to “sink in” since it is a very long 3000+ word post that I have worked hard on for a few months.
“Once a loyal ACP soldier is always a loyal ACP soldier.”
~~Kenneth1000
NOTE: Everything else in quotation marks in this post was quoted from the following post on ACP Site: “Private: Guidelines for Medal of Honor,” Boomer20, May 18, 2011. Some of the MoH requirements could be found on the Nations page as well.
Now for some great pics from Kenneth’s leadership!
Comment below and please show your support of this by talking to Funks, Mchappy (Icey Cold27), Boomer and Flipper asap.

Obviously I am in full support of this. 🙂 thanks for reading everyone!
I don’t know what people are going to think but I have to thank you for at least trying Snaily, whatever happens. I also fixed some things on the post for you since you said you are sick and everything.
Yes I see you made a couple of changes. I wish you would have asked me first though Kenneth. I do not like the title underneath the first paragraph. It makes no sense and is weird. I’m going to delete the title altogether.
You are welcome Kenneth. If I didn’t believe in you totally for having earned this award, I would not have put so much time and effort into this. You’ve overwhelmingly earned it and deserve it.
I think he deserves it!
Couldn’t make it through the title buuuut I suppose he should get the MOH because since this post is like, over 9000 words long then that must mean there’s a lot of reasons why Kenneth1000 should get it…
SOOOO SHORT MAN!
Snaily’s a girl.
i know that *wary*
I think the post should be about meh *wary* jk
Blah blah blah ACP, blah blah ACP, and blah blah blah blah ACP. That is all I see since you colored ACP whenever you write it.
I totally agree that Ken should get the medal of honor. If I was Boomer, I would have bestowed it on Ken immediatly.
I think it is too short.
THIS MAN DESERVES A MEDAL!
After reading this 18628 words post, I believe Ken should be awarded the medal of honor for his contributions to the army. And for being Canadian as well.
