Hello ACP.
For those who don’t know me my name is Slider568. I used to be an ACP Head General in the leadership of Flen, and actually I was in the first group of owners promoted in Flen’s leadership and the only owner who joined them at that time and stayed with them up until their retirement but enough about me. What I’m about to say will without a doubt receive mixed opinions but this problem needs to be fixed and not allowed to get any worse than it already is. So whats this topic that I’ve yet to make clear? It’s the issue of cyber bullying which I’ve been seeing more and more in ACP. I know what your thinking but just keep reading and give me a chance.
First off people have been harassing people like Galaxie. Before I go any further though I’d like to say that I’m not here to defend Galaxie. Actually I’m here to try to help ACP. When a recruit sees most of the comments on any post from ACP soldiers being comments to cyber bullying a poor autistic kid what do you think they’re going to do? Well if I was one of them I’d go looking for another army to join. It just proves how hostile these soldiers can be and although it’s not the entire army thats cyber bullying people they’re some of our very high ranked soldiers which makes it even worse because they’re part of the face of the army and their actions reflect on us.
I’m not going to say Galaxie’s posts were good but the comments toward him on his posts and on chat were inexcusable especially when one of those people choosing to cyber bully him is our very own second in command Foldez. Just today people on chat ganged up on Galaxie and it took very many hushes and threats of banning to stop them. Watching this happen were a good amount of new recruits too. I wouldn’t blame them if they left and joined another army instead. What happens next? Noka comes on to cyber bully people he dislikes and hes not even kicked for making Jewish stereotype jokes. You’re probably thinking that I’m overreacting but this kind of thing has gone on way too long.
Like I said this isn’t just having a negative effect on the victims of the cyber bullying (and it’s not just Galaxie whos being harassed) it has a harmful effect on ACP. If you want to become number one again and gain the respect we used to have you have to make ACP a less hostile environment especially for noobs and younger soldiers and if we don’t we’ll continue to see drops in sizes. This kind of thing can’t go on at all if you want more recruits and soldiers to stay in ACP. Even if I get bad reactions from this post and people start to attack me at least I stood up for what I believe it and tried to help ACP even if you can’t realize that.

A hate post is a post bashing someone repeatedly. This post mentioned you once because Foldez you really did cyber bully Galaxie.

Perhaps you are part of the problem when you COULD be part of the solution. As 2IC, you should be addressing these issues for the good of ACP.
Really, Galaxie isn’t being cyber bullied; this is normal behavior on the internet. I PC’d him some tips, and if he follows them, he won’t be an easy target for trolls. Honestly, this doesn’t affect our position in the top 10 much. We generally treat noobs nicer than other armies, even with this “cyber bullying”. Just my 2 cents on this.
I do agree that it got a little out of control today, though. It really did. I tried to change the topic by making everyone jealous of my Perfect 300 in bowling, but it didn’t work.
I have personally witnessed cyber bullying of Galaxie for months and tried to address it with these individuals who refuse to stop. My brother is also bullied endlessly. This IS an issue in our army and right now is the time to put a stop to it once and for all. My post is coming with the solution.
Not you personally Mariosatr, this is for everyone in ACP….either you are part of the problem or part of the solution.
Trust me, Snaily. I used to be bullied all the time in real life. I have austim too. The solution is to change the way you speak – adapt it, if you will – and ignore the “bullies”. It’s the internet. Sure, we need to tone down the hate on Galaxie a bit, but mostly he needs to change himself in my opinion.
Also, to me it seems like you just want Foldez gone… =/
What “seems” is not necessarily true. I want our owners ranks to live up to their ranks and make contributions to ACP. That’s what we are supposed to do. We should not be against our own army and chasing away new recruits, giving other armies sensitive information, etc. We should be setting an good example for all of ACP to follow. If Foldez, did that, if anybody does that, then I’m totally in support of them being in ACP, especially at the high ranks where ppl look up to us and rely on us for various support and encouragement.
However, I’ve put up with Foldez attacking me and making horrific UNTRUE accusations about me and negatively smearing me in public since early December. I WILL defend myself and if others view this as wrong, sorry but I have the right to defend myself just as we all do.
I am NOT out to pick on anyone, that’s not in my character, but I will defend. Please do not fall for her “victim” act. Actions speak for themselves and pave our paths in ACP and in life. We all make personal choices and pave our own paths.
Hey, I think I know Foldez better than you. What I saw is you making accusations about her, not her making accusations about you. We don’t scare off recruits, it’s just the way Galaxie acts that sets people off. And no-one gave away sensitive information; if you would like to provide proof, send me pics, otherwise, innocent until proven guilty.
I would like to make an observashun or comment. Has there ever been anyone like Gala in the ACP?
I believe so although I can’t remember any names at the moment.
I do believe we should have stricter chat rules. Slider is right on that. I also do believe owners should be role models for the troops
I actually believe though, that Galaxie and Obama were ganging up on Foldez, saying that he would be fired and all.
As to Foldez, I believe she could have kept here thoughts to herself. As she was rounding up a bunch of insults towards me, here main goal was to provoke me and see what would happen. I made a completely normal post, talking about something what can improve our army. Continuing that, Foldez started threatening me on a link I posted on chat what we use in school for teen health what talks about common questions. Due to some topics talking about sex, Superoo and Foldez threatened me saying it was bad. I replied to them that it was about informing children but they quickly got up to the point of in the web link it said “teenagers” so they said because of that, I should be punished because it said “teenagers” and not “children”, therefore because some soldiers are under 13, it is unacceptable. Yesterday, continuing that post, Foldez wrote several hate comments rounding off in a fight between soldiers. I believe this is a great example on my post on how we need to have a warm heart to new recruits, but this shows that people like Foldez aren’t playing a good role model on them.
Foldez, you say that Slider is making a hate post, but this is all reasonable. This is not a hate post, you are the one who is hating.
If Galaxie isn’t allowed to be on the site because of stupid posts Folez should’t be allowed either.
Foldez posts good results posts and things, also by fairness she has to be on the site as a 2ic. Galaxie is a Master General, and Master Generals aren’t added to the sites unless it’s under certain circumstances, which it isn’t I think. There’s a difference.
This is a huge issue with ACP and has been for a while. I’ve been trying to address it and I have a solution I’m putting into place ASAP. For anyone to say cyber bullying doesn’t happen in ACP is mistaken. I’ve seen repeated, targeting and harmful attacks on ACP soldiers for months now. We must solve this issue for the good of ACP immediately and take a stance that we won’t allow for it in our fine army.
As for Galaxie, there are many things I don’t approve of with him from anti-acp hate rants in public, the instigating of riots, the interception of private screen shots that were meant for Funks and given to CPAC for display and humiliation of ACP (which I consider a traitorous act), but he does NOT deserve to be cyber bullied and targeted repeatedly, harmfully on personal issues such as his daily challenges with autism or being of the Jewish faith. Nobody in this army or world is perfect, we all have our strengths and weaknesses and own beliefs and NOBODY deserves bullying…especially in ACP.
Hopefully tonight I’ll get my post in with the solution for our cyber bullying issues in ACP. I’m taking an active stance on this and I hope to have the support of ALL of ACP that this behavior will not be allowed in our army.
