Army of Club Penguin

Hola mis amigos! Everyone knows the Halloween party on Club Penguin is coming out very, very soon, and with this, will come a new mascot. This can be played to our advantage, as we’ve currently at a weak spot with our sizes. Yes, they’ve recently been impressive, but still, we need to maintain stable sizes. Therefore, I have some important tips on recruiting, and some recruiting sessions. 

Chat Recruiting

Yes, it may be boring, but it needs to be done. CP recruiting is the original way of recruiting, and we shall be doing some of that. We will also be doing some chat recruiting. This is the more important section of recruiting. All of the big mascot tracker chats will be packed with possible new recruits, and we need to take full advantage of this. Here’s a couple of the best mascot tracking chats to use.

Those three, listed above, are the best. They will be full with people wanting to find the new mascots. So, here’s how we can get those mascot-hungry CP ‘noobs’ to our wonderful army, and turn them into loyal troops.

Firstly, go to one of the chats listed above and look for someone who looks like a ‘noob’. A good sign of this is someone who’s repeatedly asking on chat for the mascot location. If you see someone like this, PC them and ask them if they’d like to join a cool group of lots of friends (Don’t say army, as this may scare them away, just say group). If they say no, leave it at that and find someone else. If they say yes, link them to the Join page and the chat. Once they get to our chat, PC them again and give them a nice, friendly welcome. Tell them to leave a comment on the Join page, and then suggest to go on CP with them to help them with their uniform. Also, add them to your Xat friends list so you can PC them during events to tell them to log on. Remember, kindness is key. If you’re not kind and friendly, there’ll be less of a chance people will join.

So, that’s how you go about chat recruiting. Or, you could be risky and spam ACP chat on main chat until you get banned, in the hope that curious people will click the link and join, but we don’t suggest that.

CP Recruiting

The real McCoy. The original method of recruiting for CP Warfare. As of late, CP recruiting has got more difficult, until now, when it’s ridiculously tricky to recruit on your own. But, if used correctly, it can be successful. One of the major advantages of CP recruiting is that ‘ACP’ is one of the suggested words for the CP chatbar. This makes recruiting still possible for us. Unlike the Golden Ages of CP Warfare -2006/07- you could solely recruit on CP, by yourself. Now, it’s not so easy. So, the best way to CP recruit, and by far the most efficient and effective way, is to get lots of ACP troops to log on to CP at the same time and have a nice recruiting session then. This can also work with a group of friends, around 5-7 people should do the trick.

So, there are 2 different ways of CP recruiting.

Small Group of Friends – You can gather around 6 or 7 friends, log on to a highly populated server (that the ACP owns, we don’t want to get in trouble with other armies) and recruit that way. To make sure this works, you need to stay in a highly populated room for 10 minutes, until moving to another room if you wish. This is boring after a while unless you’re dedicated. So, just recruiting with a few friends at the Town or Plaza or party room for 10 minutes or so, chanting recruiting phrases (see below for list of good servers that we own and recruiting phrases).

Scheduled Recruiting – The best way of CP recruiting. This is where we schedule a recruitment event, log on for 20 minutes or so and recruit in highly populated rooms for 5 minutes until changing rooms. This is better because there’s more of us, so we’ll get more attention and more people will be interested. This way is definitely more effective than unscheduled, as more people are aware and thus, more can turn up and help.

But Splashy, recruiting is boring and I don’t like it! Yes, I know. I find recruiting boring as well. But, it has to be done. And, we can make recruiting more fun! This can be done via rewards. We can set ourselves a little challenge. Say, for example, we challenge ourselves to get 5,000 people to join in 1 recruiting session –

Oh, okay, I wasn’t being serious, but whatever. So, as I was saying, if we achieve 5,000 people in a recruiting session, there would be rewards. Rewards could range from Xat rewards (Xats, Days, Powers, Temp Mod/Owner, etc) and CP rewards (Dance competition, Sled Race competition, code giveaway, etc). We can also make recruiting fun in different ways too, but I’ll go into that at another time.

So, there we go. Recruiting is vital all year round, but at Halloween, we can make it especially fun. So, expect some recruiting sessions coming up soon =D.
