Stew’s Long(ish) Post of Explaining-ness

Lets get down to it!

Now, I know what you are thinking: “Stew, Y U SO INACTIVE?” and “WE SHOULD GET HIM FIRED *RAWR*”, and I can understand why you all are thinking that. However, I have my reasons (mostly personal ones). Most of the owners know what I am talking about, but the troops may not and I would like to personally keep it that way. Also, school is hard (NO WAY!) But yeah, my teacher aren’t the best, and I have loads of homework. My friends are also being pretty jerkish to me, if you understand what I mean by that. My mom was also getting mad at me for how long I spent on the ACP chat, youtube, or anything for that matter on the computer. And to top if off (with a cherry), my laptop broke (Hard drive, but I am getting it fixed Tuesday). So (for me) at this point I found myself with 4 choices.

1: I can stay as 2ic and wait for life to go back to normal. (Which I expect to take a week or two). I personally would feel bad staying as 2ic for that long and not being able to attend battles, but at this point, I have no clue!

2: I can demote myself to a lower mod rank so my inactivity wouldn’t be that HUGE of a deal. I also wouldn’t like this either. I love being an owner in the ACP, it is probably some of the best times of my CP army career, and I would hate to leave it!

3: I could ask Ek to take a temporary leave (sort of like a break) while I can sort out life. If I did decide to do this, I would obviously need Ek’s approval, and if someone could temporarily take my spot. For me, if I could get this to work out, would be my personal choice

4: Retirement. I knew it would be coming on me soon, but I didn’t know when. I personally do not want to leave ACP or any armies for that matter, but I sadly may have to. At this point, I would probably retire within the next few weeks if I was forced to. For me, this is my least favorite choice.

I am going to put a poll just to see what you guys think I should do. This poll will count for about 25% of my decision, so its not to big of a deal, but I would just like to know what you think.

Thanks for reading and hopefully understanding.

Im sorry

  1. McHappy-like speed ;D

  2. This and a few other reasons are what made me retire. If you retire you’ll want to come back to the ACP leadership after a while. I say you take a short leave, take some time to think about managing your time better, if it means only a hour online on weekdays that all you can manage and you’ll have to tell Ek. Most likely he’ll be fine with it and if during your leave you’re having a good time not being part of ACP then retire.

  3. Sorry for all the hastle you’re going through at the moment, Stew. Whatever happens, don’t let your time here get you down outside of it. I do wish you to keep up your work here because I know you can contribute rather a lot. I don’t think that keeping you as 2ic would be the most handy thing to do however. I would personally recommend you become a mod rank and work harder when you can be back on. Whatever happens, ignore the poll. These things aren’t very reliable for such matters. I wish to keep you as a contributing owner but I don’t think you have quite enough time right now to do so.

  4. Stew, I surely think it is up to you in retirement matters. I am not you, you are you. I surely don’t want you retiring from ACP because you were with us for so long. I really hope all this hassle with you will end and you can go back to normal.

  5. stew tastes good

  6. If I were you right now, Stew, I would take a temporary leave and figure out a plan with your homework. If you do that and get Ek’s approval, I would recommend doing your homework right when you get wherever you go after school, and once you get all your homework done, I would tell your mom about the plan with your homework, and that you took a temporary break from ACP and you will have to spend some time on ACP and/or YouTube because you are a 2ic at the moment, if that still doesn’t work, then you can retire if you want to. Whatever you do, though, it’s up to you.

  7. Stew, this important decision must be made by YOU. Obviously, you care a lot about ACP and you are torn over what to do, so you are asking our input. Consulting with your friends and those who respect and admire you is honorable, but you must make the ultimate decision. I say you take some time to see what happens and what you can commit of yourself to ACP. Family is always first and school is next and the things that will make you successful in life are always a priority. Reflect on what is most important to you and decide what you can give to ACP and other “fun” things you have going on. Try to work out a schedule that you can live with comfortably. Perhaps go down to the mod rank for a while and see if that helps ease the responsibility on your shoulders, yet still having some fun and being a valuable soldier here in ACP. Whatever you choose, we support you and will help you as much as we can.
