Et in Arcadia Ego

Well this it it, the end.

I guess you are expecting a huge ranting retirement post about all my supposed achievements.

I’ve had a fairly long run on here. I have had fun. But it just doesn’t mean as much to me as it used to mean. To be frank – Its got to the point where it’s a burden.

Ek knew that this was coming. So did Funks. I’m sorry I can’t help ACP, but this is exam year for me and let’s be honest with each other – Exams that decide on whether you get into a top university or not is more important than an online game. I know both Funks and Ek have exams also.

I just want to say before I leave, thank you for taking a chance on me. It meant everything to be given a second crack a ACP. I think the record has been set straight, although I will leave that one up to everyone else to decide.

It is most likely that I won’t be on xat chat anymore, but don’t fret – The show must go on. I know it will.

Et in Arcadia Ego

Remember one thing though – I did it my way.

Yours forever,

Cassius Brutus

  2. Adios, Cas. Enjoy your exams 😀

  3. 🙁 Goodbye Cas. We’ll miss you greatly.

  4. 🙁 Goodbye hope you do good on exams and thanks for not so long retirement post(hate reading long posts).

  5. An unexpected goodbye for yourself, Cas. You really did push yourself for your second shot here. The Commander General spot was a great addition for you and I wish you could have stayed on longer. Bloomin’ exams. Hey ho, you weren’t that guy that hated everyone like I expected you to be when I first met you. Adios, Cas. Unexpected yet expected.

  6. Oh, Cas. What can I say? I got to admit, you can be pretty hilarious at times. Good luck in life, and visit chat often, please.

  7. Bye Cas, you were a good 3ic and soldier. You’re a cool and funny guy. Have a nice life.

  8. good luck with your universities man

  9. I wish you all the best in life, Cas, and I know you’ll go far!

  10. Ahhh Cas D= You have to at least visit me in Texas! You were a great person to know whether anyone had a good or bad opinion on you! You also have a book of history in cp armies. Goodbye Cas, it would be great to see you sometime just to make fun of Bush some more and eat birthday steak… 🙂

  11. Will you still be visiting? If not then this is my final God Save the Queen to you. Long May She Reign.

  12. Best of luck to you in life and I wish you the most success possible. I hope you hake fond memories of ACP and your friends with you. Thanks for your friendship and service in ACP Cas! (hug)

  13. um…hake = take (ono)

  14. Cas, a great friend! It is sad to see you go, but you always will have a place in ACP.

  15. It won’t be the same without you bud. It was great talking to you those many times on chat and it’s a shame exams are cutting your time here short. Remember to visit us from time to time and good luck in life bud. 😉

  16. I don’t comment on this site very often. But for your sake, I felt like I had to.

You have been one of my very best friends in armies. From RPF to UMA to CPAC, we have worked through so many things. It’s been a bumpy and not always friendly road, but you have been a mentor to me not only in the ways that you helped me but also in the ways you went against me. It all taught me something, and I owe much of what I have to you.

I hope you come around every now and then. It’s sad to see you go without the big bang we planned, but hey, it isn’t about how you go, it’s about what you did before you went.

Best of luck to you. I hope to see you again, Cas.

  17. Who would’ve thought it would ever end?

I can’t say that I’ve always loved you. When I was powerful in the ACPTR, you continually pissed me how power-hungry you were always were there.

But in the end, all you wanted was the best. You wanted the best for the ACP, the best for the ACPTR, the best for everyone here. You’ve been here for the long run and never been afraid. You’ve truly been a servant to this army – many will look up to you as the epitome of the loyal soldier.

You’ve done it your way. Damn good job.
