Army of Club Penguin

Good afternoon ACP,

Today we’re going to talk about the fundamentals of the Army of Club Penguin. Now you may be wondering: “What the heck is fundamentalism?” or “What is ACP fundamentalism?”. Well I’m going to explain that and much more in this post.

First, let’s talk about fundamentalism. This is the direct definition from Wikipedia, Dictionary, Answers, and Marriam-Webster (Dictionaries).

Fundamentalism: “Strict maintenance of ancient or fundamental doctrines of any religion or ideology…”

In our case, we don’t have religions or doctrines. However, we used to have an ideology that most of us have forgotten once. Can you guess what it was? It was on the header on the site from 2006-2010.

As you can see, they both have something in common. That’s right, as you may have noticed, it’s the line. “Defend Freedom, Preserve Justice”.

What does that mean?

It was a term that the ACP creator (Oagalthorp) himself coined. The ACP has always been a beacon of all things good on Club Penguin. We never get into wars for revenge, greed, power, or any other thing you can think of that would make us look bad. We’re always the ones who are dragged in and thus we must defend our army’s freedom and preserve our justice to the many citizens of our Club Penguin servers.

It doesn’t end here though! We used to do so many other things in the ACP that we just don’t do anymore. They made our army even more fun that it is now I guarantee.

Look at this. We used to do this all the time in the ACP. We made up maps of fake worlds and well, I think you get the point. This specific one is by former leader Dr Nono Jr by the way.

Here’s yet another thing we used to do. Divisions my friends. We used to be so big that we were able to divide ourselves into divisions and have separate sites, more power to the mods, and especially more practice and recruitment sessions. Even though our current leader Kingfunks is trying to bring back divisions, I feel we’re not nearly large enough to pull it off. But let me show you what we used to look like with divisions.

This is Alpha division. Pretty big for less than 1/3 of the entire ACP right?

This is Echo division. You may not be able to see it (Because they were fighting Alpha division) but they were pretty big. I only wish I had a better picture for the divisions.

Now for one of the “biggest” things of them all.

This was during Boomer’s leadership. Very few has been able to circle the ice berg like we did in that picture and still have only their army left over in the middle. Not to mention we bunched at the top because that’s where Boomer was. The only one’s to ever break this record was us by the way. Under Mchappy’s leadership this was achieved but I couldn’t find the picture sorry.

The sheer size of the ACP was enough to scare almost every other Club Penguin army and we’d never have too much of a challenge because of it and our tactics (We were the first army to do formations like this such as the circle).

This is what the ACP has always strives for now and we’ve always wanted since the beginning.

So why are we lacking now?

If you look at our past, it’s only been six years and much has changed since Oagalthorp started the ACP forums, or the UMA formed on Mammoth. We need to look at our past and learn from it but we also need to look to the future. I believe the John F. Kennedy quote comes to mind here:

“…ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”

With that said, let’s start working towards our goal of having the biggest army. Let’s defend freedom and preserve justice. We need to dominate most of the world on our fake maps, and most importantly we have to have fun while doing it. Those are our fundamentals and we need to get back to them. We’re not going to let some stupid war or some other army get in the way! We’re better than them, the proof is in the pudding or the pictures rather! So good luck ACP.
