This is no golden age – but we stick together

Hai ACP,

Today I’m here to talk about the army as a whole – what we do well and what we need to improve on. We are top of the top ten, we haven’t lost a war in years and we are going strong for now. We do have problems, but those problems are spread across the whole CP Army Community as a whole and we just represent a change in the world we live in. I will show you my opinion and give much needed advice that we need and need to use, we must.

That sentence may not make sense, but you should get the idea of what it meant. Our sizes are not what we used to have, but as said in the opening paragraph it represents a shift and possibly decline in the CP Army World. I would used to expect ACP to get 60 – 70 on a great day, but that has changed and the reaction to a 40+ event has gone up indefinitely. Back in the day, this was not what would get you first on the top ten listing but due to the fact we do get that position with those sizes show how all armies are moving with the times. However, that doesn’t mean we cannot grow and change out of the times and recruit to get more sizes.

That sentence is true on so many levels – recruiting on CP is much harder than it used to be so we need to find new strategy’s to cope with this. Possibly we could apprehend chat recruiting sessions instead of CP recruiting sessions. Could this be what we train future soldiers – not the classic CP recruiting. Does the ACPTR need to teach new recruits how to chat recruit – not how to CP recruit?  Do we need to change the classic, traditional techniques to fit with the changing times – Changing times require a change in strategy”

We may also not be in a golden age, as such, but we stick together and help anyone in the army. I feel this group of soldiers in the army is one of the strongest bounds I’ve witnessed in the two years I’ve been here. I don’t know many people that hate someone else in the army that have been here for at least 6 months, even people who have joined earlier than that seem to bound well with the older, more advanced soldiers. I ask you this question – would we rather be in a golden age with cracks and lack of bounding or in the state we are now when all the soldiers stick together and fight FOR each other?

That question should be asked and if you think you don’t want harmony in the army just to be large – is that a sign of being power hungry or do you feel that is the best for the army? I personally think it is a sign of being power hungry because as long as we are better than the rest and doing it for each other, not for ourselves, we will be fine. It’s nice to get sizes of 100 and to be unbeatable at times – but when you look through the army the harmony is not there and you feel it could crack at any minute. Have a look at the LT – they were bigger than us and looked huge and unbeatable but they weren’t stable. The troops weren’t doing it for themselves either because when Roberto was fired many troops left. Does this mean they were loyal to the leader and not the army? Yes.

I don’t want that to happen when Flipper and Kenneth leave, because unfortunately that will be happening soon. If any of you are considering leaving because Flen will, you should be ashamed of yourselves because you should be in the army for the army and not the leader as such. If slider achieves the leadership rank, we should have the same mentality as we did under this leadership of that we will stick together and fight for the army. If I was demoted to a lower rank – I would still fight for the army and not the rank. Flipper and Kenneth would not want you to leave because they do – everyone has to leave at some point. I understand that a lot of you have only been under this leadership because of the shear length of it, but your experience grows a lot when seeing how a different leadership changes the army and how it works – it will change you into a better soldier.

Overall we need to keep sticking together and help each other – no matter who leaves or what starts to happen. Even if we aren’t at our best in our rich history we need to keep at it and still try our best to make this army succeed. Do it for the army, not yourself.

  13. I agree
It is 1 word I love saying when things are dead silent for any team, it is TEAMWORK.
Teamwork is my middle name (not really) and it has been used ever since the first war in history. That was over 1,000 years ago. This still follows us up today. It is our time to keep this spirit alive. And to do that, we must not worry about rewards and losts. It is fighting for Club Penguin that matters. Because that is what this whole army does, well, is suppost to. So, just let me paint 2 pictures here:

Lets say Ken and Flip arent leaving and same with no one else. Then yes, I bet people would think this could be a golden age. Well if your gonna be worried about this and wanting to get much higher promotions, don’t, remember what this army is all about, why we have soldiers like Ken, Flip, Slider, Funks, Ek, Icey, etc. Its because this army needs soldiers that put Club Penguin and this army with its loyalty first, before everything else.

Then lets say that we were in a war right nnow. I am gonna use LT for an example. So we were in a golden age. But, our teamwork is gone. There is no bond between every single soldier in this army. If that happened, there would NO soldiers at every event in the war. This would have to happen like this: NO SOLDIERS = NO ARMY = NO ACP = OTHER ARMIES (MOSTLY LT) WOULD PROBABLY TRY TO TAKE OVER OTHER LARGE ARMIES AND OUR AND THEIR SERVERS. THEN FINALLY TAKE OUR SPOT AND RULE WITH AN IRON FIST OVER ALL THE OTHER ARMIES. THIS WOULD BE THE BIGGEST WORLD WAR IN THE HISTORY ON CLUB PENGUIN. EVERY SINGLE ARMY WOULD FIGHT EACH OTHER TO TRY TO RULE AND BE NUMBER 1. WITH US AND OTHER LARGE ARMIES GONE, THIS IS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN, THE END OF THE LIFE WE KNOW IT.

Lets not let any of these happen. We shall bond as an army with teamwork and loyalty or go out as a soldier with nothing. Who is with me:

FOR ACP, I SHALL DENI MY PROMOTION AND CONTINUE WITH NEW CHAT RECRUITING, RIGHT NOW ACTUALLY WHEN IM DONE.

  14. Good post Funks. I have been really busy lately but school is almost over for me!
