Hai ACP!

If you didn’t see our previous edition, this is a post made by Kingfunks4 (King) and Ek (Ek). Funks and I are back for another “KingEk” post. Cheesy, right? Though due to be posted on the first of every month, I’ve been away for a few days so I haven’t got to write anything. Enough of the nonsense, onto the post.

So as Kingek arrives for its second edition, the April edition, we will present our post about April Fools Day, Champions Cup, Tactics and Many other things. This post will also summarize the month of March, which was a very good month for us in size, tactics and chat size. We also want your opinion and for you to be involved in the second issue of Kingek. Let’s take a look at our first topic:

Everyone knows what April Fools is about. It’s when you trick your Friends or Family and say “April Fools” after they fell for the stupid joke. Normally, during April Fools an important leader makes a retirement post on their site and then say “April Fools” after the ‘read more’ sign. Also, CP celebrates April Fools day by adding boxes to most of the rooms and turning the dojo into a drawing. This is during our Champions Cup battle, so it could be interesting :mrgreen:!

But what does this have to do with the ACP? Well, we should have some fun on this day and make sure we make a joke out of our opposite army, the SWAT. However, SWAT are a good army so let’s not make fun of them. What did our Major General, Ohyeah, think?

Do you think April Fools is good for armies and the ACP?

April Fools is a good day for troops to generally have a good laugh alongside leader and moderators and to fit in and show off some humour. From personal experience, I enjoy April fools myself, specially the CP parties or the little scary pranks to pull off. Good day to cheer one up.

How much are you betting that someone will make a fake retirement again? 😛

Hmm, Can’t really say much. Although, I have suspicions about Flipper, who was recently caught as a vampire (No, this isn’t twilight) But what if it ends up being you? The enjoyable mysteries of April Fools y’know.

The Champion’s Cup is drawing to a close. The tournament, hosted by Club Penguin Army Central(CPAC) was announced on March 3rd and It’s being going on for nearly a month. Unlike previous tournaments hosted by CPAC, this one was a bit different. Four groups were chosen and four armies were placed at random in these sets. Each army faced each other and a point was awarded for a win. The two armies at the top of their sets from each group were then placed into knock out stages/Quarter Finals leading onto four armies in the Semi Finals. That’s where we stand currently.

We, the ACP were placed in a group with the Golden Troops, Pirates and the Metal Warriors. We came first in our group with nine points and the runner up were the MW.

We then fought the Light Troops and won due to room complications and great sizes/tactics. Now standing against SWAT in the Semi’s we are hoping to win and go through to the finals.

The other battle consists of the Ninjas and MW. We seem to have a knack for losing short in tournaments. More pacifically the Legends Cup which is starting to become a tradition in the Summer holidays. Best of luck to SWAT against us and we hope for a fun, challenging battle. Also, good luck ACP and try your best. I’m sure we can pull it off.

Event Enjoyment

Everyone enjoys different events depending on their definition of fun. I, personally enjoy a good war battle. Not an invasion or defence, a one on one old school rivalry match. There are:

Practice Battle: Two or more armies have a fun battle together where no arguments are intentional(normally happens :lol:). Often there is no winner as the event was purely for fun and to train the armies.

Tactics Session: An army goes on a server alone and tries out new tactics whilst also improving old ones. A bit of fun for the army and a time for impressive tactics to be shown.

Invasion/Defence: Two or more armies are against one another to take each others server. Almost always ends in a fight and trolling one another. Tactics and recruiting is in preparation for a war event like this.

Timezone Event: An event with appropriate times for a specific country/countries. Smaller sizes but shows a stronger variation within the army.

Recruiting Session: Most known as the more boring event. The army goes into a crowded server/room and spams phrases to help gain soldiers. The army barely moves and aims to get new troops.

Other: In my rush I’ve probably missed out a few like division practice battles , uLead etc. Comment with another if one has been left out.

March has been a good month for the ACP. We have been top of all four top ten lists and we had an easy passage to the Champions Cup Semi-Finals. We averaged about 40+ this month and our tactics have been near perfect, the best I’ve seen for a while. We didn’t have any war during this month, due to the Champions Cup and there isn’t much to summarize for this month due to the Champions Cup already being mentioned in this post! 😛

From now on Kingek will award one lucky soldier the “Kingek soldier of the month”. Ek isn’t available to give this award so I am going to have to give it on behalf of both of us. This soldier will be shocked with how many promotions they got and they have been very active and been to all ACP events possible. The Kingek soldier of the month is….

You are always on the chat and ready to help the ACP whenever need be. You are the future moderator or owner of this army because your loyalty is second to none! Keep up the good work because you deserve this award, the first ever Kingek soldier of the month!
