Hai der ACP!

With Saturday without an event I quickly rushed to type up this post, wee’ve been mainly focusing on the Champions Cup and because of that we haven’t really given anyone else a chance to lead and shine lately, So I thought it might be time for a uLead session for the members and moderators to get a chance and lead. We know how you feel, when for a long period of time no one but the owners get a chance to lead and keep all the fun to themselves, but this Saturday we’re giving you the fun and the chance to lead. Anyone who wishes to lead will get their chance tomorrow, theres no time limit but only one person at a time will be able to lead.

Something has been brought to our attention that applies mostly to the ACP leadership, but it might have something to do with others here too. Sometimes we can be overly cocky and rude to enemies and our competition, now it’s never been too bad and it was just that normal kind of thing you’d see with any army, but recently it’s getting a bit out of hand. Every army is equal, ACP isn’t in any way “superior” to other armies, yes we’re #1 in the top 10 and very very strong but it doesn’t mean we’re better or upper classed than the other armies. In some of our recent posts we’ve been talking like we know we’re going to win and everyone doesn’t stand a chance and shouldn’t try, not that we’re aiming to win and will try our best, that kind of moral. It’s kind of cocky and it’s not one individual owner or soldier, all of us have slipped here and there.

In our last war we kept threatening, and pounding down on the Light Troops. You could say they deserved it, it’s taking away from the fun and hurting the feelings of other soldiers and making us look worse. Not one army in Club Penguin I can truly say is evil, it’s a game and how we treated the Light Troops way back when, at the time we were trying to decided to have a war with and declared it on LT for what we said was going to be a “fun, no-hate war” but instead turned into one of those hate wars everyone (here comes a pun :lol:) hates. Now I’m not saying ACP is bad or we were wrong at all, nor should we start blaming  and start a “he said-she said” kind of thing, I’m not saying what LT did in our last few wars were right,  but I think we need to lay off a bit and think about things we say before we say them more and think about the effect it could have on others. 

But theres a few things that Klug says that makes you think.

1. Bullying is a minor problem in armies. I can understand that cyberbullying is a problem that hurts many people, but there’s not much you can do about it other than follow the rules of whatever chat/website you’re on and be nice to others.

2. I do agree with Vetsd’s idea that the leadership of ACP at the moment has a very confident, often to the point of arrogance, approach towards leading.

3. In the case of LT/Spiderguy22 (I’m assuming that’s you), ioio was indeed being a bully. Reminds me a bit of what happened to Seanehawk (better known as Meat) in ACP after he was overthrown by Shaboomboom, Boomer 20, and Dryvit. The only thing that wasn’t really bullying about it was being demoted to lowest mod rank. After all, doesn’t ioio demote a lot of people? And why would you expect to retain your rank if you retired, even if it was only a “2 day temp retirement” (not even sure what that is)..

4. The claim of this post being “the most controversial post in army history” is unnecessary, and quite frankly, wrong.
