Hey ACP!

On Thursday I quickly scheduled an ACP event for today, seeing as we only had an event planned for Sunday. We haven’t been doing our best on Saturday’s recently and our best performances have come on Sunday’s, but today was a little bit different. We started off in the MINE as the puffle party was still ongoing and I didn’t realise that, but later on we went to the TOWN to try and expand our sizes ever more. This battle was important to get our tactics straight and makes us almost impossible to defeat against the Light Troops, and I think we achieved that!

We did various tactics including Circle’s in the mine and town, but we didn’t do much moving bombs throughout the battle as it seemed a bit wasted, given we probably wont have the chance to attack the Light Troops with both our sizes, it will probably be best if we stood our ground and let the LT come to us. I said this event was going to be 3 medals which could go up to 5, and I planned it out so we could get up to 2 medals for size, and 3 medals for perfect tactics. In the end, I think we probably earned 4 medals as our tactics towards the end got better, but our size couldn’t break that 45 barrier.

• Size [9/10]: Our size on a Saturday hasn’t been our strongest day over the past weeks, but today we did much better. We averaged around 36-38 and maxed out at 43 soldiers at one point. The 45 mark wasn’t far away, but I’m sure we can improve our sizes for tomorrow’s cup battle.
• Tactics [9.5/10]: Our tactics started off a bit dodgy over in the mine, but then they evolved into near perfection as we took up a diagonal line. When we moved to the town, our tactics got a bit worse but were still good, 9.5 out of 10. Anyone for 10 tomorrow?
• Chat [9/10]: Xat, xat, xat. Today we had good chat sizes before XAT decided to ruin it and refresh all the users on our chat, but it wasn’t too much of a worry as most soldiers logged back in as most of them were active. We got 40 registered users on chat on popular, and got up to 55+ counting all of them.

We make a diagonal which takes probably only around 15 seconds for us. E3 in line as we did lose a few soldiers.

“LIGHT TROOPS HAVE NO CHANCE” Speaks for itself, doesn’t it? Right after this the chat crashed, but we carried on.

Town:

We get into a circle in the town and do Clovers (EL). Back to basics for us.

Post-Battle:

Our training was a success for me and many others, we have trained and got a good estimate for how well we will do tomorrow. Remember one thing though, the time different from EST to GMT will change from +4 to +5 so GMT’ers and other European time zones, remember to change your clock so you don’t miss the battle tomorrow! The Euro forces make up around a third of ACP if not more, so it’s always important to have us guys around. 😛

First I’d like to congratulate the ACP soldiers who came for a job well done. We started off quite slowly only barley breaking the 20+ barrier but we eventually picked up the pace to a steady 35 or so and in the end we were able to achieve around 45 and no more than that. We stayed in the mine for the majority of the battle, which most of us can agree got boring and we eventually moved to the town for a change of scenery.

As you can see from the pictures, I have no doubt we can’t beat the Light Troops tomorrow at the Champions Cup, but if we are to win everyone needs to listen to orders better and keep from going idle. It would be helpful if everyone also avoids from side conversations, remember you have lots of time to talk on chat, so try to keep quite and listen to orders for an hour.
