IMPORTANT POST
Pre-Note: When I was on chat Yesterday, a loyal soldier Snaily5 Pc’ed me and talked about what they felt was an urgent problem in ACP. I thought that I couldn’t post about it when they knew so much about it, so I encouraged them to come up with a post, email me it and I will post it on their behalf. This is the result. It may look long and boring, but I would encourage you to read it! Another small thing is the text font in this post, do you like the subtle change or the previous font?
The View of an ACP 1st Lieutenant.
I recently moved my igloo from Mammoth to Breeze (and almost got run over by Kenneth!) to accept my self-proclaimed tenure as Director of ACP Marketing and Recruiting at University of Breeze. Since that move, I have made a shocking discovery. ACP has acquired a negative image and a bad reputation, contrary to what ACP stands for. The future of our army depends on restoring our positive image and reputation.
What does ACP stand for? We stand for many good things: strength, goodness, morals, kid-friendly, acceptance of all, fun, and to protect the penguins of Club Penguin. Our actions must reflect these values, but from the responses I have witnessed from others, we have sadly failed. This will ultimately be the demise of ACP if we do not restore our previous outstanding image. Many before us, and seasoned members among us, have worked very hard to establish our army in structure, size, vision, and image and it’s our responsibility as members of ACP to continue what they established.
So what do we do?
- First, recognise the problem. ACP has gotten a negative image and bad reputation.
- Second, identify the causes as to how ACP’s image got tainted and digressed from the original intent.
- Third, create solutions and implement them for restoring ACP’s image and reputation.
I have observed a few possible causes that need to be addressed. I have seen ACP members during my patrolling, in pre-battle rallies, post-battle events, and in other army chats boasting, bragging, acting disrespectfully, rude, arrogant, and cocky. These actions directly taint the ACP image and word gets around giving us a bad reputation. We should absolutely be proud of our victories and successes and take pride in being members of such an outstanding organization, but we should be careful in how we communicate these feelings to others. Keep in mind, it’s not always what you say, it’s how you say it.
We gratefully accept victory with celebration and we accept defeat with good sportsmanship (penguinship?). If you plan on going into another army’s chat, be strong (as in don’t let them push your around) and remain respectful as we would expect them to behave in our chat. If you have to behave beyond the good expectations of ACP and insult, be disrespectful and whatever else you choose in their chat, then you should take (at least temporarily) the ACP out of your name. What you say and how you behave is a direct reflection on the entire ACP. I truly believe that we all have the freedom to say and act how we please, but we must make good judgments. If our actions hurt ACP’s image, then take ACP out of your name (temporarily).
Next, so often in my daily patrol I see other armies recruiting or other illegal activities on our servers. Do I tell them to get off the server using all sorts of colorful wordage? No. I identify who they are and ask their intentions, if not obvious. Then I inform them that they are on an ACP server and their event is not allowed on here. I then ask them if they received special authorization from ACP leaders for their event. Then I tell them that they must leave the server and redirect them to Klondike, “compliments of ACP.” If they don’t leave, I immediately go into ACP chat and announce the server and room and situation and request back up. I inform the other army that ACP reinforcements are coming and they usually vacate the server.
What about the lies that other armies say about ACP—especially in front of possible recruits and general penguin population? This is a tough one because we must defend ourselves respectfully and CP is censoring out so much that nothing shows anymore. Accusations are worthless without proof so we must present facts. Remember your reaction to their lies in front of others will either prove or disprove those lies. Also, actions speak louder than words. If the other army says lies about us and bystanders see good actions/reactions from us, it makes the other army look bad and untruthful.
On a good note, we have a great army full of fantastic people and good friends. We have active members who enjoy all of ACP’s events and activities and interacting with other penguins and armies. These ACP members give ACP a good image that just needs to be conveyed to others.
It took time to get this negative image and it will take time to reverse it and I’m certain that we can reverse it and prosper. What can we do to restore our good image? Other than what I’ve already mentioned, I would suggest lots of positive ACP exposure. Perhaps we should hold extra activities where we interact with general penguin population. Perhaps we should have fun activities with other armies. Recruiting sessions offer good exposure and information about us to others. I think we should go into 4 and 5 bar servers as a large group and go into the dance club and turn the entire place (lights and all) green colored. This is also a perfect opportunity to promote ACP and recruit. Any suggestions you may have can be given to Flipper or Kenneth.
In conclusion, the future of ACP depends on all of us no matter what the rank. What we do in uniform or through identifying words (like ACP in name in chat) reflects directly on our army as a whole. Remember, as individuals we all represent ACP. Waddle on and make sure to stay out of Kenneth’s path!
-Snaily5
Woah, pretty long post right? If you managed to read all of that I’m sure Snaily and ACP will be very interested to hear your responses, so we both know how to improve.
Comment on your opinion of Snaily’s thoughts, and whether you think they are right.

Oh and many way this started was because noob penguins who say join the peace army say acp is evil for having wars of cp. ALthough our wars are fake wars noobs act like we are a real army in real life. Second other armies like to dress up like acp and say we are evil. I remember a nacho soldier saying he was leader of ap and said we declare war on EPF.Their is a ton i can say involving our negative image.
well i agree as a 1st lieutenant my self i know how snaily came about this is true .just cuz acp iz first in the top 10 dosent mean we can critize other for it . (kinda werid this being AFTER a funks comment)
I think Snaily has a point, but it will be interesting to see what everyone else thinks.
this guy makes a huge point. we lost our professional look.
I’m a girl, but like one of the guys…LOL. Thank you for your input and response. Glad to know we all care about our army!
The Nachos never have permission to have an event on Mammoth and that was an example picture, not something that has happened officially.
Thank you Flipper.
did I say anything about the picture? 1st Lieutenants shouldn’t tell anyone what to do unless agreed to by a leader.
Noseycjr, in this army everyone is very important from the bottom to the top. It takes us all to make ACP successful no matter what the rank. The seasoned members offer skill, knowledge, leadership, and experience and the new members and lower ranking members offer fresh perspectives and new ideas that are important for ACP’s growth and continued success.
nosey just got so mad… really funny
I don’t like you.
exactly y i dont like u genius
Conflict among us………..Fatality.
and what rank are you excactly i really do think you are a jerk
Excellent post. One idea I had is that on every holiday we should log onto our most full server (or perhaps Breeze) and host a huge party for ACP that lets everybody in, even enemies (so long as they don’t attack us or try to recruit). We could do it in Flipper’s igloo. It would make everyone feel like we’re here to have fun, and if we invited our enemies over to the party, it would make them feel like we respect them.
Oh, and if Flipper’s igloo got full, Ken would open his so people could still party, hang out and just chill. Letting enemy armies in would be a great idea, that way it eases tensions and makes even our enemies like us more.
Im glad that Flipper and Kenneth are taking an interest in what the soldiers have to say. I think just allowing this post is a step in the right direction.
I think this is a amazing post and i agree with it.
NIce Post
Wow! This was an incredible post and totally made some good moral vaules.
Thanks Icey Cold27 for the compliment. I respect you opinions.
Yeah no problem. It’s sort of embarassing when someone like you hasn’t had the ability to post on ACP site, but you’re a way better post than me.
Great post, Snaily. Better than Ken’s usual. Kiddin’ D:
Nice post :O
Great post Snaily, looks like you put a big amount of effort into this post, you should be proud!
OMG SNAILY IS SO RIGHT!!!
WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING FAST TO LOOK GOOD AND NICE!!!
SNAILY U DID SUCH A GOOD JOB ON THIS AND I HOPE EVERY ONE OF OUR SOLDIERS TO READ, AGREE, AND ACT FAST TO RESTORE THE GOOD IMAGE!!!
WE SHOULD ALSO PUT THE GOOD OLD DEFEND FREEDOM PRESERVE JUSTICE MOTTO BACK ON THE WEBSITE!!!
Oh yeah, I really need help. I am the ONLY soldier on the battlefield. All other ACP soldiers have fled. It just might be code red.
I like the night club idea and I have another idea where we can distribute something to the public and call it ACP Giving Back or anything you wanna call it. What do you think?
Bit rubbish.
I respect your opinion as we all have a say in ACP and that’s what makes ACP so great. I wonder though with a comment like yours if you are possibly part of the problem when you should be part of the solution? I haven’t personally observed you doing anything so I dunno. Thank you for taking the time to read it though! =)
Snaily deserves a promotion for finally waking ACP up to face the truth.
omg asdf! Coming from you, that is an honor and reward in itself. Thank you for your compliment.
nah but for real snaily u got a huge point nosey doesnt know anything hes what brings this army down. keep goin with what ur doing it takes a voice to discuss this type of thing
How am I what brings this army down? I shared my opinion, youre the one who’s bringing this army down by starting fights and calling me a jerk on posts. You need to get your ideas to make sense. By the way – I actually do like Snaily’s post, but i disagree with some of her points. Snaily – I’m sorry if you thought my comment was a jab at you and members as a whole. I really do respect you trying to make this army a better place for everyone. I hope you can accept my apology.
LOLZZZZZ OH MY GOD SOMEONE HELP ME HAHAHA dude i dont even care bout what ur sayin cuz idk you and im happy about it, its just funny to see nerds like you get so angry…LOLZZZ
Dude, stop being so mean. Nosey was just stating his opinion. When you state your own opinion on a different post in the future, I’m sure Nosey wouldn’t rage at you for your thoughts. I think it’s quite rude to act like that to a fellow soldier, whatever their rank. Don’t be so nasty.
LOLZZZZZ dude ur talkina me like this is a real army. honestly, get a life u probably sit on ur computer day in and out on ACP cuz u have no friends, like alot of ppl in this army. this is just my CP job. u guys r hilarious with this stuff, oh man i mean its like u join this army and make it ur whole life. u take it so seriously cuz u have nothing better to do, its so funny.ur probably a nerd in real life to. this is fo funny man say more things i get a kick out of it.
Says the guy who’s called camp lazlo. You probably don’t ‘get a kick out of it’. You’re just actin like you do. You’re a keyboard warrior. I do not sit on my computer everyday. Kinda hard to when there’s school. I have lots of friends. I don’t make this my whole life, and I don’t take it so seriously. It’s just really stupendous when you see the everyday noobish keyboard warrior go round actin like he’s the best. And actually I have lots better to do. And yes, I am a nerd in real life, got a problem with that? Nerds aren’t all braces and glasses. I’m actually gonna get somewhere in life. Ya see? You’re not the only one that can act real hard on the computer. Bet you couldn’t do it face to face. Get a life. Stop being so ridiculous.
LOLLZZZZZZ OH MY GOD SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHA lord help us plz. oh god. again i dont really care what u say, i didint even read past the first sentence cuz i started cracking up. but at the end ppl who r as pethedic as u probably dont have alot to show for what they can type on a computer rather than what they can say face to face. LOLZZZ anyways since i have friends i dont think ill be coming back here. so may ppl in this military crack me up. they think they matter just by typing a comment and serving in an imaginary war. LOLZZZZ alright snaily so ur a complete loser. everyone have a good day cuz i wont be coming back. it is funny but i have friends and other things to do rather than argue with pethedic losers who have nothing else to do than try to make a difference on a computer. LOLZZZZ alright cya girls. and snaily to you its see ya dude. LOLZZZ
replace all those snailies with splashies sorry i thought snaily wrote it. then again snailys cool and splashiy thinks he is. aight cya peice of crap. hope not though. u should be a comedian but be serious about it. ud make big money nerdo. i didint read all the comment just the first line cuz u really think ur gettin to someone by doing that. LMAOOOOO ok bye weirdo.
Yay. Bye, may the world be a better place.
Fatality…..
whatever that means… more funny words man say more things like ur boyfriend above its hilarious. btw u guys dont even know the situation, nosey started with me over chat by thinking hes cool tellin me what to do. so its like ur talkin but u dont know y. LOLZZZZ keep talkin though its funny

Somebody promote Snaily or hire her for CPAC.
