Euro Training = Success

Hey ACP,

Today we logged on at around 7:40 PM GMT to start our Euro Time Zone training. We started on Snow Fort and went to various rooms, and stayed on for a total of around 50 minutes all together. The event was a training session, and we did some interesting tactics with good sizes, however, it wasn’t just Euro soldiers, a few loyal USA soldiers came to the event too!

I mainly lead the event, and percy Jacks2 got temp owner after he won a little competition at the start of the battle. Our tactics weren’t prefect, but they were really good considering the Euro forces hadn’t got together for a while to practice. We started off in the Town before heading to the Mine, then we partied in the Beacon before making a + in the Snow Forts. We finished in the dock, and then quickly logged off.

Size [9/10]: We averaged around 20-25 soldiers throughout the battle and maxed out at probably 30. We got a lot of size in the town/mine/beacon but started to lost size from then on for whatever reason, however it was still a strong performance in this area
Tactics [8/10]: To be honest our tactics weren’t the best, which was understandable as we hadn’t performed together for a long time. It even took us 5 minutes to make us a circle as there were lots of silly distractions which shouldn’t of existed, but we still pulled through.
Chat [9/10]: I had a quick look on popular and noticed we had around 33 registered users on there at around the mid point of the event, and from what I could also see our chat size was fine and everyone re-inforced the tactics quickly. The only problem was the distractions that were caused by people talking during the event, which didn’t really help at all.

Beacon:

We do EI igloos in our line at the Beacon, but a lot of people were still clumped up in the middle.

Snow Forts:

We make a + in the Snow Forts and do E3 in our line, decent sizes still.

We finally get into our circle and wink in it, E7 with a snow-covered puffle at the bottom.

Post-Battle:

Good chat sizes.

A lot of people were suffering from CP not letting them log on, and receiving the blue screen of death with those animations the only thing to keep them company. For all of it’s obstacles, today’s event was still a great one and helped us improve our Euro forces. Next we fight with our Canadian/USA crew to see how they can do, and if they are any better than the Euro’s before them.
