Kingfunks4’s post about focusing on our goals
Hey ACP,
Yesterday I made a post about whether we should enter CPAC’s latest tournament, the Champions Cup. I stickied it as we only had until Wednesday to post our results, with the events going to happen this weekend. We had previously elected to recruit and train for the next few weeks in a previous poll, and as a few had been mentioning this on Chat and around the site, I thought I’d ask you all.
I gave it probably less than 24 hours, but logged in the next day to see there was a whopping 53 comments on the post! Next, I got up my sticky notes and started counting who voted for what. After around 15 minutes of checking, double checking, triple checking and then OVER 9000 checking, I came to a conclusion. There had been around 40 votes out of those 53 comments and the results were as follows;
- Enter the Tournament! – 23 Votes [57.5%]
- Recruit and Train! – 17 Votes [42.5%]
When counting, Enter the Tournament was always ahead of Recruit and Train by 2-3, until the very end where it took the lead by 6-7. I personally didn’t expect the votes to be so close together. Looking through the comments a lot of people who chose Recruit and Train were asking if we could possibly do both. Following the amount of people who asked to do both, I went ahead and asked Kingfunks4, CPAC head and also ACP 3ic, what days the tournament would be hosted on. He said it would only be Saturday this weekend, and then Saturday & Sunday the next weekend.
This means if we entered the tournament, we still would have this Sunday to train/recruit, but there wouldn’t be time for an everyone event next weekend. I guess you could consider that we are training next weekend as the opponents may be very small (Cocky, I know 
), or maybe we could try and do Euro/USA training next weekend to keep our time zones alive and not out of practice. Ultimately, it’s decided that we are doing the CPAC Champions Cup, but it’s whether we incorporate recruiting/training into it. That’s right, it’s time for ANOTHER form!

You know we only do these forms because we love you! 😛 I haven’t involved a poll for the next weekend as anything can happen in the next few days, so It’s best to just leave that until later. For the 3rd question, you can just put A/B/C/D but if you do choose D, please explain what you would prefer as, althought all members of ACP are basically amazing, it’s still hard for us to mind-read.
So, the latest news is:
- ACP officially enter CPAC’s Champions Cup
- The last General meeting came up with very productive ideas to be reviewed by the leaders, including a possible senate return.
- ACP claim 1st again in the CPAC top 10
- Flipper has a thing for forms

What would you like to do this weekend? A. I think we should do some training on Sunday. We were very productive with it last time, so I bet this time would go well too, which would help lots with the tournament. However, it needs to be a BIG training session. Our goal for people would still be 45+, but we need to keep training for a long time, and do lots of tactics that are crucial in combat, like joke or emote bombs.
