Haider ACP!
It still hasn’t been very long since we got out of our two month war, a long war can be fun and challenging but after a while it can take a toll on an army, with all the invasions and defenses it’s hard to find time where we can work on improving some problems we’re running into, thats why we need to use this time we have wisely. We’ve been fortunate to have March off from war since it’s one of the best times for ACP to recruit. This is also one of those months where we can take it easy, work on improving some problems we’ve run into and go recruiting more often.
First I’d like to talk about our organization, this mostly is about at events. It’s not a secret that the bigger the army, the more clumping they’ll have, and an army ACP’s size we’re almost guaranteed to have some clumping, but we can downsize the clumping with enough work. For example you should try to stay online for the entire battle, idle penguins add to the clumping as they just get in the way. Try to watch yourself on Club Penguin and make sure theres no one clumping by you or on top of you, if there is just go fill a gap or make the formation larger. Don’t try to be at the top of the line or be right next to an ACP owner, as this causes clumping as well.
Something else everyone should try to downsize is the random conversations during battles. The first 15 minutes before the battle is used to get everyone online, it can get boring after a few minutes, just dancing in a line without any orders but the leaders need the time to get everyone online and the unneeded conversations on chat during battles on main chat doesn’t help us. After our little practice battle with the Ice Warriors it’s shown us that we don’t recruit enough on Club Penguin during the pre-battle and when theres just a gap where no orders are being given. When theres no orders being given it’s good just to shout out a few recruiting phrases or throw some snowballs at the enemy while you wait.
Nachos for years have been known for being the best tactical army (ACP not so much) We need to start to focus on our tactics just as much as size. We have the size to do get top notch tactics but we don’t always have all our soldiers awake to do them. When a penguin goes idle that’s one less emote in a formation or one more penguin standing in the way of a change doing nothing. Theres times when we even have whole parts of a formation idle and it makes the tactic less effective. We don’t have a bunch of tips and ways to help make you prevent this, but thats because it’s much simpler as well. Don’t go idle, keep up with the orders on chat and make sure you’re following them correctly for the entire battle.
Finally, I’m going to start to end my posts with a question so we can get your feedback and opinions, so this post’s question is what other things should ACP do to improve more? Your ideas don’t need to be problems relating with battles either, it can be anything that you think ACP could do to improve and become an even better army!

i think that we need to work on tactics because some people will do them at differrent times than others and it gets annoying. more training and then a PB to test our skills maybe even before the tournament. but thats just what i think
I think what ACP needs to improve on is patrolling regularly and tactics. Like you said in the post, lots of penguins go idle, clump in line, and have bad formation when in line. At our last event on Sunday, we had a random shoe-like formation that was all out of wack and jumbled up with random clumps here and there.
The patrolling part is also something we really need to work on because Mammoth has had a lot of activity lately with raids here and there and recruiting of small/medium armies. Yes, the armies are small but if we don’t get in the habit of patrolling we might end up getting raided by a top ten medium or large army someday.

I think we need to improve on getting people on chat to do the orders faster.
Of course we should work on the tactics we already have, but the thing is that people know those tactics by now; they’re too predictable. However, if we made a brand new, really cool and effective tactic, that would give us a further edge in combat. One idea might be guerrila warfare – i.e. blending in with normal penguins and striking the enemy from out of nowhere, or perhaps hiding behind cover (so they can’t see us) and then popping out to charge and bomb them. Just a thought.
P.S., anybody noticed SWAT and Light Troops standing off? Maybe we should stop LT?
Well guerrila warfare really wouldn’t work well in club penguin, it’s a game after all.
Actually, it could. If you dressed your troops as civilians waiting at the battle site, then quickly said ‘ACP’ and joke bombed the enemy, it could really work. Furthermore, in the Town and Forest, there are areas near the chatbar that you can completely hide any trace of your penguin behind (namely the snow at the bottom of the Town and the trees at the bottom of the Forest). If you hid behind those, you could rush out, jokebomb and send the enemy into a complete panic.
Why the reason I can’t do speech tactics is because I am on safe chat. Do anybody know how to get off safe chat without leaving my penguin? If you do ACP will approve because of me. If you can’t, please don’t do speech tactics when I am around.

I think we still need to work on spreading. Some people crowd up above the lines to be at the top.
The one reason I dont really like these improvement posts is it makes me seem as if, even though Im giving ACP the best attention I can, its not enough. Good post anyways Slider 😀
Nice post Slider. I say we need to improve on not overlapping eachother, most people like to bunch with a leader.
Good post Slider. We need to work on patrolling because I never hear of a lot of people patrolling. We should also work on our tactics and develop new tactics.
We should stop clumping (as we all know) and not leave gaps While trying not to clump. Also, we should get the word out about the ACP command room.
