Hey ACP!
So, today is the first of March, and after logging onto Club Penguin to check out the new clothing catalog, I noticed a few things had changed! There are new loading screens, some great pieces of clothing which could be used for ACP uniform, and a few more!
First of all, there are those pretty neat loading animations instead of the boring blue circle of death, which I am pretty happy to see them go! So far after scouting the server and looking around searching for more loading icons, I’ve only encountered 3; and I’ve even given them nicknames! There’s Digger Guy, Cart-Surfer Guy, and Pizza-Guy! Neat, huh?

I think these are a great addition to the game and maybe while you are waiting to load into ACP’s battles, you can enjoy some nice animations, a bit like that cheesy lift music as you wait for your floor. The other great thing I like is the actual loading bars, which give you an indication for how far you have to wait until it’s done.!
I may have missed out a few animations that I haven’t encountered, or maybe I’ve found animations that even you haven’t found yet! All in all, I think they are are a great addition to CP and I advise you to login and check it out as soon as you can. Comment on your opinion on this change, and whether if like me, you think it’s a positive one.
The other new thing in Club Penguin is the new catalog, which is mainly about the new puffle party that’s going to be here soon, but after looking around I saw the green puffle’s owner’s clothes, and I was surprised at 2 items I saw.
The first item I noticed was that the Green Face Paint was back, and that could be a great asset to our uniform, for only 15 coins! The second thing I noticed I was really surprised at, there in front of me was the Green Cape. Now, the Green cape was last seen in a Dojo Party all the way back in 2006 and it has now made it’s return for members to buy for a big price of 200 coins.
With no good green items to recently add onto our uniform so recent soldiers can wear it, I think these 2 could be the perfect opportunity to update our uniform. But it’s not entirely up to me, what do you think? Do you feel we would look more organised with sweet green face paints, or maybe a sleek cape to finish off our uniform? It’s up to you! Just comment on your form and we’ll see what happens. That’s right, time for another form…

If, like me, you thought these were pretty schweet and wanted to buy them, It’s easy really. All you need is 215 coins, and a membership*. First login to a server, head on over to the Gift Shop, and open up March’s catalog. Keep flipping the pages until you reach the green puffle page, then click the “Click to see the boys items” and there they are! Upon seeing these, I couldn’t help but make my own uniform up;

It seems people are getting a bit confused, this isn’t my idea for a uniform, it’s just my own personal uniform, as I know the Black Toque can be considered as rare and not recently aviable. An official uniform idea for the 2 items isn’t made yet, this was just a rough idea for my own personal uniform and so you can see what it looks like on your penguin. This was only made to view the Cape/Face Paint

There’s a lot to talk about, and I know I’m excited about what else CP can deliver over the next few weeks, including a puffle party which is shaping up to look epic.

I have the black toque from a long time ago and I like it, but to be honest, since it’s a old item, maybe you should change that?

Personally I am already using the face paint so yes to that. But to the cape, no. Why? Well it looks less military and more “that random army” uniform. However if you can find nothing else the cape would be a great substitute. I would prefer a back-pack or a scuba tank though to this. Also keep the viking helmet. I have a hope the roman helmet will be coming!! 😀 And if it does I WILL wear it if and when I buy it.

There’s a set uniform that everyone is supposed to follow as closely as they can in order to make us appear more organised. If everybody ‘had their own uniform design’ we would not achieve the military look we must have.
dude im saying not everyone dresses the same as everyone else, i mean u can still tell that their ACP and everything. im not saying ACP doesnt have a set uniform design, im saying that not everybody follows exactly whats on it so calm down u didint even have to speak up…

Do you think we should add these 2 items into a more modern uniform? Sure, but I’m not sure entirely about your uniform. The viking helmet is ALWAYS available, so we should keep that in our uniform, it’s kinda like our signature item and the hiking boots are currently available as well.

Do you think we should add these 2 items into a more modern uniform? no. I think the cape looks weird and the tanks look MASSIVE and impressive on our backs. I prefer the night vision goggles over the face paint because they look so intimidating, like they are piercing through the other army, plus they draw attention. I prefer the red viking helmet because it contrasts with the green uniform and it is very large and spiky, looks menacing. I do think we should go for the solid green jersey or the green hoodie (hoodie available to all by free unlock code) as standard.

Recently we haven’t looked as ACP-ish as usual and hopefully these items will help. I think our head item should also be green other than that silly thing Flipper’s wearing. 😀

The cape looks really cool but I think the bagpacks or the scuba tanks make us look bigger and better. P.S, the cape doesn’t really show.. due to the green clothes.

Ok, so I tried getting the Green Face Paint on my non-member account, and it didn’t work. And I tried on the Green Face Paint and Cape with the rest of my uniform, and the Green Face Paint doesn’t really look that good on me with my penguin color being Dark Green. So now I’m thinking that the Green Face Paint should be optional because it is a FACE item. The Green Cape looked good on me, though.
Oh yea, I also think we should keep the Red Viking Helmet in our uniform because if we wear something a Toque or some other hat besides it, we wouldn’t appear to be larger than we really are.
Oh yea, I forgot another thing, if you have a Wii, Club Penguin Game Day, and Green Face Paint on it and you are a non-member on CP, you can connect your Wii to the internet (search How to connect your Wii to a ________(insert computer name on the line)and check back on CP 1-2 hours after that (I haven’t connected my Wii to the Internet myself because it’s complicated and I’m waiting to get a Mac computer so I can try it) and then you will have the Green Face Paint!)
Ive made my own uniform to it that okay its the green lettermen jacket the green cape and thei have the red hat thing it looks just like the one you have flipper but urs is black mine is red.

Since it is readily available to members it is a good idea to change it to the green cape however, I believe the backpack makes us look more army-looking. For now, we should have the green cape but if CP decides to bring the backpack back (that sounded a bit weird) we should then change it to the backpack again. Same with the roman helmet. It would be cool if that came back.
