Hey ACP!

What could this be? Well, recently my good friend, Funks has deservingly been promoted to ACP’s Commander General. Being the genius’ we are, we decided to write a monthly post together. Yes, we shall still be posting throughout the weeks but on the first of every month(hopefully) we shall have a joint post to present to you. So, let us present to you, KingEk.So, what shall we be posting about you may ask? We shall be talking about recent happening in the ACP, current events that are effecting us; you know the stuff. We’ll hopefully get some interviews, contests and enjoyable content for you, the soldiers.

Hello, as you know I’m Kingfunks4 (the King part in Kingek) and Ek has summarized what we are going to do in a big nutshell. We hope this becomes a thing that everyone looks forward to every month and that it brings some good news to all of you. The big topic of this edition will be the recent war, but we will also look at other things for you to look at. Also look for interviews, opinions, facts and many, many more things. Do we really need this? No, we don’t. But it is a good thing for the army and you can see what two of our Commander Generals have to say. We hope you enjoy this, as we go onto the actual post itself!

The Recent War

 Well, recently we’ve just come out of a massive war and moved into another on a much smaller scale. After several events without war ACP was starting to get far boring than usual. You asked and you eventually got it. With a large scale war against the Nachos, Light Troops, Global Defenders and several more we certainly had our work cut out. Thanks to our allies the Ice Warriors and Doritos(?) we were able to pull out a victory and defeat our enemies. With the Light Troops posting inappropriate and fowl pictures and statements on their site, the Nachos eventually joined our cause. With the Dark Warriors joining in, an alliance was born. It was named, ANDI. Standing for ACP, Nachos, Dark Warriors and Ice Warriors. After a few days of fighting, ANDI was deformed when both the Nachos and the Dark Warriors left. Shortly after this occurred the Black Alliance returned once more to fight again. Disappointingly no more has been heard and it seems they are waiting for another day in the future. So, do you enjoy the longer wars where all our events are battles or do you prefer more relaxed, shorter one’s with less events? I asked a few of our soldiers to see what they thought.

Did you enjoy our recent war or was it getting old and repetitive?

I enjoyed the first week of the recent war but then many troops started to give up so less actually happened. -Foldez, ACP Staff Sergeant

All together, I think It lasted the best part of two months, starting with LT, then Nachos, the LT and Nachos, and then just LT. So, yeah it was getting pretty old. It doesn’t mean I don’t want a war, just maybe a new challenge. -Flipper, ACP Leader

I think both because it was keeping the army active and was a very fun war, although with harsh stuff from LT. The bickering between both armies got old and near the end everything got boring. -Emp, ACP General

Promotion Day

Now let’s move onto promotions, shall we? No, I’m not going to show you the promotions in this post but I’m here to show you what promotions are for and what some soldiers think about promotion day. Although we do give out promotions throughout the month at big events (Like the invasion of Fjord or defence of Mammoth) promotion day is a large day for most members to feel important and to give a moral boost. Of course, we don’t need promotion day because  people do get promotions during the month. However, it is a good occasion and it is an added chance to get a promotion in the army.

Promotion day is like a monkey. They are both not needed but funny so it is a good thing for them to be there (most of the time). To get promotions you just need to be active, come to events and be on the ACP chat. Yep, it’s that simple. But what do you, the soldiers, think about promotion day?

What do you think about promotion day, do you look forward to it?

My view of promotion day is an enjoyable day where all troops can feel important and can understand how the leaders do watch them and gives them a sense of accomplishing great amounts in and able to go forward and help ACP in one day -Ohyeah/Oldtroop, ACP Brigadier General

Promotion day is good for the members, but when you get to a high rank it’s just another new post. It’s not as exciting as it would be to a member. But, I still look forward to it, everyone’s in a good mood and it makes my day -Slider, ACP Head General

Medal System

Recently, the medal system has been on a trial run in the ACP. Basically you pick up medals at battles you attend. The number of medals determine the importance of the event or length. Some people have been recording their medals whilst others are asking the leaders to do so. Having a certain amount of medals at the end of the month will get you an automatic promotion. However, you may still get one from unscheduled events, patrols and showing your loyalty. What do you think about the new trial system? Is it to confusing to follow or is it fairer to get a promotion?

Contest

This months contest is a drawing contest. This doesn’t have to be amazing and you don’t have to be a top artist to do this. We want you to make a computer drawing (Paint, XAT Doodle ect.) about an ACP Soldier doing something. Here is a list of ideas for you to use:

• Clovers give you wings
• Third in Command Room
• Second in Command Room
• Leader Room
• Retirement island
• Battle vs LT
• Battle vs Nachos
• ACP Mess Room (Dining Hall)
• Any other ACP thing you can think of!

The winner could win modship on the chat for 24 hours, xats and a part in the next Kingek post at the start of April. This should be fun an enjoyable and we hope you will make some amazing diagrams. It has to be imaginative and doesn’t have to be graphic. If it isn’t imaginative you might not win the prizes. Even if you are already a moderator, remember you may also win Xats and the pride of victory. The winner will be announced in a special edition of Kingek (Kingek: #1.5) which will be a shorter, results post. Good Luck!
