A Little Help With Leadership

That’s right troops the time has come again for my post which is entitled every week “A Little Help With…”. If you missed last weeks post then click here to catch up with “A Little Help With Formations And Lines”.

Now most of you will read this post and think well wait a minute I’m pretty sure the leaders know what to do when it comes to leading, but do you? During some events at the end one of the leaders might ask if some people might want to do a tactic and if you are one of the lucky ones to get chosen then you are expected to do well. But I know some of you don’t like to lead simply because you don’t really understand what to do or what to tell others to do or have run out of tactics and don’t want to repeat them.

Here are some helpful tips for Leading:

  • Make sure that everyone is paying attention. If people are not listening then make sure you get them to otherwise the tactic will be a fail. You can use “#sirenhorn” to try and get people to listen.
  • When leading you can use CAPITALS to make what your saying stand out above others so people can see it and they know what to do.
  • Make sure you do a Countdown for example 3,2,1 GO GO GO. If you just say “Do Clovers” then people will get confused at what time to do it.
  • If you have the power (hush) then feel free to use it but make sure you do it right because you do not want to be wasting time especially if we are in a battle.
  • If you are doing a tactic which requires time to get ready for (ACP Bomb) then make sure you get everyone to say “i” when they are ready so that people to not rush typing and get the spelling wrong and then it not show on CP.
  • If a lot of people are talking then you might want to repeat the tactic several times as I am sure it has happened to all of us at least once when you don’t know what you are meant to be doing.
  • Try not to repeat tactics, try to think of new things people can say or do otherwise it get’s a bit boring after a while.

Now that you have read those tips you should be ready to lead and to volunteer next time a leader asks you.

I hope this post has helped you, please vote on the poll below on this post and the previous one I done on how good/bad they were. I know this post may be a bit more boring because there is no pictures in it.

Here are is a funny ACP moment most of us will remember especially Flip… Enjoy,
