Cherish War

Hey ACP,

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I have midyear exams next week, so you can imagine that my schedule has become extremely busy. Not only that, but I have track practice every day for two hours after school, so usually I don’t get home until 5:00 and have little time to get on chat and/or post. Track is wrapping up in two to three weeks though, so it’ll become easier for me to get on soon, but I’m working on spending more of my available time that I have to post actually posting. It takes a while for me to get ideas, so you really don’t see me posting often unless there’s something really good to post about. But enough with the excuses.

War. The entire thing that every army-including ACP- is built upon. No, not “protecting Club Penguin”. Not “fighting the good fight”. Not “fight the bad”. Let’s face it, those phrases that armies have become known for have nothing to do with the truth. Honestly, there have been about three instances in all of the history of warfare where armies banded together to collectively fight an enemy for the betterment of us all. The real point of armies (or what I believe, anyway) is war. Mindless, pointless war. The great thing about war on Club Penguin is that it’s beneficial for us. War is often seen as a negative thing, due to the obvious consequences of war in the real world, but here’s the secret to Club Penguin wars: nobody dies. Nobody gets hurt. At the most, some bad feelings arise between people and pretty nasty words can be said. But, compared to wars in real life,  the positives of wars on Club Penguin significantly outweigh  the negatives.

You may be asking, what does the above paragraph have to do with the ACP right now? One thing in particular. We currently find ourselves at the beginning of a war. A real war. Not us trying to get an army to fight us unsuccessfully. No, this time armies actually want to fight us. Shocking, right?

But seriously, we have a war on our hands. How we handle it is crucial. Wars don’t really happen that much, and when they do, they don’t drag on for too long. This definitely isn’t as bad as it was in, say, 2009, when getting a war to last two weeks was an achievement, but things can fall apart in wars before a single invasion even happens if you don’t handle it carefully.

All I’m really trying to say is this: I like war. You like war. If you don’t like Club Penguin wars, I really can’t understand why you’d even be reading this. I just don’t want to see this thing go down the drain. Excessive amounts of hate, being babies over potential losses, being arrogant virtual penguins, not going to KFC often enough… these are all things that could ruin a war that could potentially be great. If you want this war to be a good one, you’d do well to avoid these things.

In conclusion, I’d like to wish our opponents in this war good luck, and express hope for many, many great battles that we will all remember for the rest of our army careers. Good luck to those of you in ACP, as well. Some advice? Don’t forget about the effectiveness of unscheduled raids.

let the snowballs commence.

  2. This new war seems like one of those potential world wars that last 5 seconds. If a potential world war lasts more than 2 weeks, we got something very worthy. Fun thing about world wars is they result in a rise of club penguin armies in general. So remember: KEEP THIS WAR GOING!!!

  3. I agree with you Klug, cp armies are ment to fight eachother
