Are you new to armies? If you are you’ve found the post that should be able to help you out. After joining your first army it can be confusing and you might not know much about how ACP operates. Thats why this post was created! Hopefully after you read this post you’ll be ready to continue in ACP and have enough knowledge so you’re not in the dark anymore.

Battles

Battles are what makes the army an army. Each week we have battles which can come in the form of anything from invasions, defenses, or practice battles, sometimes even CPAC tournaments. You should be on our chat ( xat.com/theacp ) throughout the entire battle and you should come on chat about 30 minutes before each battle. To attack the enemy we use planned tactics such as emotes, charges, and hundreds of different phrases. Coming to our battles/events will help you secure a promotion each month.

Your Rank/Owners

Your rank is your status symbol in the army, if you’ve just joined with little to no experience you’re probably a low member rank, but don’t worry because you can get promoted by being active when promotions are posted at the end of each month, but be aware you’re not going to be get to a  mod or owner rank in a couple of months Your rank determains if you’re a commanding officer (owners), Moderator rank (Master General & General), or a member. If you’re a member you’re called the backbone of the army, your job is to come on chat, read posts, attend battles, and of course have fun!

Next we’re going to be talking a bit about owners which are the Supreme Commanders, Head Generals, and Commander Generals. We’re your leaders, we lead the army in battles, keep the army running smoothly, and make the posts that you read on the ACP website. At all times please follow the orders any of us issue. On a side note, you don’t need to be very formal with any moderators or owners for example addressing us as ‘sir’, we’re all kids and we think of you as equals.

Chat

Next we have our chat, xat.com/theacp. Our chat is used for various purposes such Communication during battles so you can see the orders being issued and carry them out on CP, for our soldier’s enjoyment (maybe fun activities, ect), and to socialize when there aren’t any battles going on. As stated above when we have a battle it’s very important that you get on chat about 30 minutes early, we usually log on 15-20 minutes early to prepare to battle and get the most soldiers online. Please refrain from talking on chat during battles/events as much as you can so everyone can see the orders being issued.

On chat we have a certain set of rules, to keep everyone safe and keep chat a bully free place. These rules are as follows….

At the side of each rule, theres the punishment for breaking a rule, kicking being making someone go offline chat and need to sign in on chat as well as not being able to talk for a few seconds, and banning, being banned from chat for a certain amount of time from 1 hour – forever.

1.  No Being Inappropriate:
   -No swearing on the chat, and censored swears are also counted as swears. Swearing in PC is also not allowed. Flip emote is also considered to be the same thing as the f-word.
   -No using homosexuality [or the word gay, fag, faggot, etc…] as an insult.
   -No using mental retardation as an insult.
   -No sexual/drug topics.
   -No racism, sexism, or derogatory comments about ethnicity.
   -No inappropriate doodles.
2.  No Advertising: Do not come here and advertise your chat or site. Youtube and photobucket links are allowed. Kick 2 times then Guest & Ban.
3.  Don’t Say Things That You Know Will Cause a Fight: Kick/Guest/Ban depending on the situation.
4. Don’t Ask for Personal Information: Do not request to see pictures, phone numbers, etc… Doing this on main chat or private chat will result in being guested.
5.  No Cyber Bullying: Don’t pick on people. Kick, then Guest & Ban.
6. Do Not Try and Bribe Owners: For a rank in the ACP or a position on chat other than member. The consequence will be a kick.
7. Use Your Head: If you are unsure if something is against the rules, don’t do it. Up to the owners’ discretion.
8. For The Mods & Owners: Any rule that the mods break will be punished for 1 1/2 times longer or worse than the punishment that a member would receive. Any rule that an owner breaks will be punished for twice as long as a member would be punished for.
9. All Mod and Owner Reports Can Be Sent Here to the Reports Page
10. The rules are relaxed during the following times: Monday-Thursday: 10:30pm – 5am EST Fri-Sun: 11 pm – 5 am EST If a moderator or Owner has broken the rules, they are not allowed this temporary freedom from the rules until their punishment has been served.

Parents

I’ve decided to add in this bit for all those concerned parents of kids asking to join ACP.

ACP, known as Army Of Club Penguin,is a group of penguins from Club Penguin that join together to have fun snowballs battles on the virtual game and ACP, just like Club Penguin,is recommended for children from the age of 6 to the age of 15. Our “Staff”, known as “Leaders” are the most respected and considered people of our community. It’s made and run by a main leader,and at the time other people such as 2nd in commands or 3rd In commanders. As a group, our Main Objective is to have fun and make friends around The Chat or during Events. To look more like an Army, our system has 21 Ranks as an Army would have, our soldiers are ranked based on how much time a Member of our group has been on the game and how active they are (attending battles and coming on chat). Promotions to all of our members are given at the end of a month.
