Hello ACP,
Recently there has been a hacker scare kind of around CP Armies and even CPAC has been in lockdown. While it isn’t really a big problem for us, I would like to remind you of some internet safety tips you should follow so you don’t get hacked or doxed or anything of the sort.
1. Pretty obvious, but do NOT give very personal information to anyone that you do not trust. Especially if they go straight up asking you what street you live on or something.
2. Make secure passwords. The longer and more complicated your password is the better for you than a short one. Yes I know it sucks it take so much time to type all of it in but better safe than sorry right? Try adding numbers and things like #^&*$)! to make your password more secure.
3. Do not talk to anyone that you think is a hacker or doxer. If they try to talk to you don’t answer or end the conversation quickly.
4. If you are getting cyber bullied or you think someone is trying to get your personal information, than talk to an owner for help so that they can kick/guest/ban them. Take pictures for evidence!
