Shab: Its funny cause the majority of comments I see either agree with unmod week or agree there need to be punishments or less rules. Funny how that is, didn’t people say everyone hated it?
The reason a senate was even brought into CP armies was to give soldiers a say. We all saw how that worked out. It was either abused or inactive when we had it but when it was gone people clambered for it to be brought back.
Before I start I’d just like to say, congrats about the victory over the Nachos. It was a well deserved victory for the size you guys achieved but I know you can all do better than that.
Senate isn’t the point of this post, however, it’s about demands overall.
We all want stuff, yet when we get it we aren’t satisfied, we want more or something different. Happened with senate and it is happening now.
This post is about unmod week. It was begged for 3 months ago, it was used successfully and even now is still showing success. Yet, because people are unhappy about the results, they complain about it. Say that its sucks, is unfair, etc….
Last unmod week there were 11 people who got above the required votes to be unmodded. This time there were half that, a mere 5 people who were unmodded, some of them even remodded. And guess what? Hardly any repeat offenders except for Maz.
What does this show you? It shows you that it works, that it isn’t just cruel and unjust punishment. But of course, once the problem seems to have been resolved it isn’t needed anymore?
Do any of you ever wonder why chat become steadily worse as time went on? Because there was no discipline, no punishment for abusive mods/owners. I’m not even talking about unmod week, I’m talking about in general.
Do any of you wonder why there are not a lot of opportunities for you guys to vote or voice your opinions? Because if there was, you’d have no one to blame but yourself. As seen with unmod week, apparently, despite the fact that I got as many votes as the rest of the 50 people who votes did, I am blamed for anyone who becomes unmodded.
Its funny when you think of it, you get to express your opinion and blame me when either A. Your vote doesn’t win or B. Your friend gets unmodded.
Want to know part of the reason why other armies do not have this problem? Its because of the immaturity level and the lack of discipline. ACP’s soldiers are on average younger on a larger scale than other armies. They are thus, on average, more immature than the other armies. What does this mean? it means that they understand responsibility less and are less inclined to follow the rules set or to enforce those rules.
Yes, I called you all immature, deal with it.
My point of this entire post? If its not broken, don’t fix it. If it works, don’t stop it. If you want to have a say in the affairs, don’t complain when you get it. Otherwise it’ll be taken away, and it will be respectfully right to do so.

Mods should really stop complaining about how they got unmodded. It’s not Shab’s fault. Shab didn’t specifically pick on you the people did. But now that unmod week is gone I will personally pick on you for your bad behavior.
Methinks unmod week should continue, but methinks also that it should be called “Shab’s Week Of Epicness and Amazing Amazinglyness” because this dude, his name is Shaboomboom, I think you might know him, dedicated like 3 years of his life to ACP, and we gotsta repay him somehow, ya know?
Unmod week is the time the mods get judged if they are worthy, its the soldiers that decide. I’m never afraid of unmod week, because i do my job, i don’t break rules, and if ogal was to redesign mod ranks i would still be a mod since i enforce the rules. All the people who are afraid are the people that break the rules, so in conclusion, UNMOD WEEK SHOULD CONTIUNE FOREVER!!!

Rawr. Yeah, this kinda stuff is important. If an army is not disciplined, then it will fall to pieces. Read about that in Ken’s post. But still, Unmod weeks (as freaky as they are) really do help an army. By unmodding people who are not obeying basic rules, they should learn from that, and change their ways. Unmod weeks are important, so deal with ’em.
This Unmod week might not have been good but it is annoying how you mods reacted to it. Quitting ACP because you lost mod for only a month shows how extremely undedicated you are to this army.
It is like that is all you care about being mod 🙄
Refusal to get on Club Penguin because you lost mod is a disgraceful action that will probably scar your career.
If chat becomes any worse I will not hesitate to raise the mod line up 2 ranks and unmod anyone. This was just like the senate thing and this time I will not bow down to any demands. I could continue to have Shab run unmod week if I like. This is an army, orders are orders which must be followed.
Honestly the new generation of ACP mods have become more whiny about being mod then the previous. I will admit I did mod one person back because I really wanted to see the votes from Shab.
The ACP is an army run by the people on top. We will take suggestions and of course ideas from lower ranks but we will not be pushed and made to do that.
Well said Ken. All mods should be appreciative of their position, and should act like role models for all members, because you guys are the future leaders. No-one wants another Meat…… We know what happened to him. 😛 Still, mods should be responsible people and be guiding for the members. At this rate now, the mod line SHOULD be raised, otherwise people need to smarten up. Got it?

If there was not an unmod week at all, the chat would basically fall apart. There would be abusive mods/owners and extremely inappropriate mods/owners. If you are an awesome mod/owner, you should not worry about unmod week at all.
Once you reach the moderator rank, to avoid unmod week, just be nice and follow the rules. That simple.
Now, let me see your side of why there should not be unmod week.

When everyone learns to behave, there will be no need for unmod week. That time will come only after we’ve had unmod week every month to keep mods in line. When there is an unmod week where no one gets any votes, then unmod week wouldn’t have to exist. Until then, unmod week is needed to make mods behave. And I doubt that you’ve even been around in ACP long enough to realize that not all the mods are perfect little people. Nobody can be trusted to keep members following the rules if they don’t follow the rules themselves.

Well the main reason why we have all those rules on chat is so younger kids age 8, and 9 can come here without parents having to sit by the computer all day and keep and eye on them that is how we are still the number 1 army in Club Penguin because young soldiers can be safe on ACP chat and not have to worry about anything

I never liked the idea behind unmod week anyway, I don’t see why unmodding people has to be made into a big event, but still… Shab is right. The majority of you all are insanely immature, very nondeserving of the modship you receive for simply being a somewhat high rank. ACP would be just as fine with half the mods they have now.

A lot of people seem to just want to be mod cause they are aware that they break rules all the time and if they’re a mod they are less likely to be punished for it. But, un-mod week somewhat takes care of that, and that’s why some people complain about it.

Let me tell you this Shab. Their is alot of people out here on Chat that don’t follow the set Regulations.
When I was a Corporal, and I still had Eye Sight, I was on Chat at about around 12:00 am and 4:00 AmEST, and People who knew that I would get outraiged for being a mod or owner, Well, Someone with Owner power maid me a Mod. I was just angry at all of them. They kept telling me to kick someone but I refused.
The Member was not doing anything wrong, and was following the Rules.
I Yelled at them for about 45 seconds, then I think they maid me a member again because I was getting anoing, and would not shut up about it.
But To be honnest, I think the Mod Bar should be raised up 4 ranks, and the Owner bar should be raised up 1 or 2 ranks.
It might keep people in order, and keep them in line.
I also think it would be best, to only premote people who deserve it. Like take me for instence.
I was not suppost to be a Lt. Colonal when I left in 2009. I just got the premotion because everyone got one.
I wasa private when I first ever joined. I did nuthing to get premoted. I was just Premoted to the next rank.
I am a Warrent officer, and I think I should be a Corporal or a Private right now.
The whole rank system for Acp needs ajusted. I personaly beleive that, but it is true. I got a small army that goes by the real US Army Ranks. We took out Warrent officers 1 through Warrent officers 5 to make it shorter, but I think now, it is best for that rank system.
I am gonna post in another comment a Rank Chart that I think the ACP Should go by.
But this will just be considered my little statement about the ranks, and the ajustments that would be great.
(Rase the mod bar up 4 ranks, and the Owner bar up 2 ranks.)

Psst… Just saying, if you raised the owner rank that high, only one person (or two) would be owner, and that would be the current leader or leaders. So at this time, it would be only Ken and Flip. Which doesn’t work at all. Because how can the 2ics and 3ics lead properly if they’re the same rank as the division generals and such? I agree with raising the mod rank, but owner rank is stuck where it is. Not moving.

Tell me what you all think. I worked for 3 weeks on finding ranks for my army when I had eye sight, and I was just starting out as a leader of a small army.
I worked on finding these ranks, Navy Ranks, AirForce Ranks, National Guard Ranks, Coast Guard Ranks, and the Marine Ranks.
My Army now only goes by Army Ranks, but, you can understand. Too Many Pages.

Unmod Week should definitely continue on even though Shab’s gone. I think we should find someone who’s definitely going to stick around to administer it, and I would gladly do it if I weren’t considering packing my bags and leaving. For whatever reason it just doesn’t seem like something the leader should run, it’s kind of Shab’s thing..

I’ve said this before along with other people: You don’t have to worry about unmod week if you are TRULY a good mod. When you worry, that only means you have done something wrong and scared for it to come back and unmod you.
