Hey ACP! Unfortunately there was some controversy over the Senate that ended up with its President retiring. I’ll be taking this position as President of the Senate. We need to get this show back on the road and get the Senate back on its feet!

This is a new process for Senate elections, but I think it will work very well. It’s like the old way in that anyone can run and be elected rather than being put on a list prescribed by the President, but it will also give all the ranks more representation in our government. Here’s how it works.

Brackets

I’ve separated the ranks into 5 different brackets to get representatives from all different levels. Some brackets are larger and therefore will have more representatives. You can find your bracket and its number of Senator spots (in parentheses next to the bracket number) in the list below.

  • Bracket 1 (4): Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant
  • Bracket 2 (4): Warrant Officer, 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, Captain
  • Bracket 3 (4): Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier General
  • Bracket 4 (3): Major General, Lieutenant General, Field General
  • Bracket 5 (3): General, Division General
  • Bracket 6 (2): Master Corporal, Advisors, ACP Janitor, ACP N00b, ACP Intern, ACP Graphic Designer, Creator/God

Anyone above the owner line will not be allowed to run for the Senate.

Messages

The signup form has been simplified this time around; since the leaders will have nothing to do with selecting Senators, much of the information required on past Senate signup forms has been removed. Instead, I’ve included a spot on the application for a message. Each candidate’s name and message will be listed in the second Senate post. In this spot on the form, write whatever you want to persuade your fellow soldiers to elect you. It can be what you want to do in the Senate, why you think you’re qualified, whatever. Just keep it fairly brief.

President, Vice President, and Grand Senator

  • I am the President of the Senate. I will run elections and meetings. I will not get to vote on bills.
  • I will appoint a Vice President. They will help me run meetings and act as sort of a secretary. Just like the President, it is important that, as an appointed officer, the VP will not get to vote on bills.
  • The Grand Senator will be a member of the Senate and will be chosen for their position by the other Senators.

    Well, All the times I ran for senate I pretty much won each time. I always tried to actually come to the senate meetings in a time were the senate had more active people. I have been in this army for at least 5 years now, so my experiance helps as well. Yes, I have took a break before, but that was only because my grades were dropping, but I assure you that I won’t take another during my time as senate unless my grades get really bad again or my parents forced me to. Dedication, good ideas, and experiance, is really what I think is to be a good Senator. So I hope to get senator.

    Message: Well I have been in the senate before, last time I was in senate I got the most votes in my section http://armyofcp.com/2010/05/20/welcoming-a-new-senate/ ANYWAYSSSS I honestly do have many new ideas for the senate, and people who vote for me can know that I will actually be active in the senate. My ideas would be helpful for EVERYONE, not just the soldiers, not just the Leaders, not just for the retired old farts, EVERYONEEEE.     4. Message:In my long time in CP Armies I have never tried to be in Senate. But now that I am I want everyone to know my intentions. I have been in CP Armies long enough to know a good amount of stuff about them. One of my goals if I do make ACP Senate is to make ACP a more fun army. I have already told Ken about my ideas to make ACP more fun, he said he will launch them but I have not seen anything of that sort yet and since I am not on site I can not launch them. My ideas is too make ACP more fun by having parties and power/days/xat giveaways every now and then, and I am talking about scheduled parties, not some random ones you could be missing cause you are playing your DS or iPod. Also I have noticed that recently the army has fallen a bit, not too much to make us weak, but enough to make us look weaker then we use to. I want to also have more recruiting sessions, more unscheduled then scheduled because recruiting isn’t something that we should do that is scheduled, it is one of those things all troops should do alone or in groups. Maybe randomly someone could say “Hey lets go on Breeze or Mammoth and start recruiting” or maybe “Hey lets go to some CP Chat like YodaAds or Riffy888 and recruit new people to CP Armies from there!” We have many ways we can make this army better and if I get into senate I want to put these ideas and more into action!

    Hello. I am Fiasco 121. I have been in armies for the last 2.5 years , so I have some experience. Anyways, enough about me.
    I think you should elect me because of these following reasons
    – I was one of the only people active in the last Senate
    – I was one of the only people who had bills ready to be proposed
    – I actually let people pc bill ideas to me
    and – I realize ACP is a dictatorship and that senate is only here to make ACP more enjoyable.

    4.Message: In my time i have lead over 20 armies take at least half if not more to major status. I have a complete understand of politics and Tactics. I wanna focus on making the army less chaotic in the time of battle and more responsive. If I was to make senate i would work with the leaders to formulate new ideas of making ACP the pinnacle of preformance in Cp armies. I would also focus on working with my other senators on making ACP a more fun army for all.

    Hi, I’m Juliana, aka QueenLittle or LittleGuy04. I’m 14 years old, I’ve been in ACP for two years and two months, and the highest rank I achieved was 3ic. I’ve had two and a half years of CP army experience. I’ve been a senator for 6 terms, including being Grand Senator, the old name for the current position of Vice President of Senate, for two terms of those 6 terms. I’ve had lots of experience with the Senate, which is a good reason to vote for me. I’m running for Senate to improve the condition of ACP, as it could use some work.     The ACP is a warrior, consisting of strong talents, bright youths, and determined soldiers. The warrior, the leaders, are what drives the army, leads them to their goals, comes up with the strategies to achieve them. The warrior’s sword, the common soldiers, are what fuels the army. Like all swords, they have to be sharpened, cleaned, kept in a good shape. What I’ve seen has not been that. The leaders, sometimes mistreat the common soldiers, leading to a warrior not keeping his blade sharp. Without a good blade, the warrior cannot conquer. Without the common soldiers, the ACP would not prevail. That is why, as senator, I will stand up for the rights for the common soldier, allow them more freedom of speech, and bring a sense of fairness to this army.

    4. I want to be on Senate because I have been in CP Armies since May 2007 and I have never actually been in ACP Senate. I wanna be in Senate now because I think it would be a good thing for me to do while im in ACP. I know that I can work with the other members to improve ACP and come up with new ideas to make the army a better experience for everyone.       I would like to change ACP to make it more fun,and a better community,
      We could do things like more quiz’s more ‘winning xats’ quiz’s or even gfx contests
      Especially I’ve been thinking of ‘games night’.
      at something like 8:00pm GMT (EST OR PST OR SOMETHING)
      We can do quiz’s and stuff like find four and ‘Know about ACP’
      The leaders can have lots of fun!

    4.Message: I want to be in senate because I want to change something in ACP in a good way . I have some ideas . I think all troops want to see parties or fun events because they are bored about recruiting events or invasions . Leaders needs to talk with all troops and to have fun with everyone , not just with high ranked soldiers or other leaders . Other idea is to do contests … We had a contest a week or two ago and it was pretty cool . GFX contests are good for soldier who do GFXs but good and for army because we can refresh our site easier . The prizes can be promotions or xats / days if anyone want to do donations. I think ACP site needs a new page like AP (Army points) , if troops are activ and come to events win some points and then they can spend their points on promotions or for clues for contests . 😉
    I have some experience because I made Nation pages of some Small / Medium armies…

    Message:ACP senate is an important position on which the ACP soldier will be able to have a voice and be heard the changes he or she would like to make. Senate is a position not for those with the smaller amounts of imagination or without insight on the future of CP army’s. Myself is not one of those.     4. Message: I joined ACP in 2008 around October. I automatically was set as Sergeant, maybe one of the leaders saw something special in me. Ive been loyal to this army above all others- even If I was a higher rank in some. This army was my first major army, and its been a TON of fun :D. Ive never been a senator, I was never voted for. Im totally fit for the job, every once and a while me and max and a few other people would get in a political argument, and I was really good at it! Im good at thinking- I got Honor roll in my school for the whole year- less than half the school did! I promise I will follow the rules and expectations of being a senator, and I really hope to be one just once, people didnt know about little swimmer and never voted for me. I think I could be good with introducing bills, Im good with Ideas. I respect your decision- the odds are against me, but I still want to try, maybe Ill get lucky one day and be a proud senator of the Army of ClubPenguin.

    4. I joined acp in late 2007 or early 2008 when fort was leader I’ve retired a couple times. I’ve never been in the senate but i do got some good idea’s for it. I’ve tried 2 maby 4 times to get into senate i haven’t got in yet. I’d like to help acp become better.

    Message: I have had the honor of serving two previous terms as a senator. The Senate requires someone who is outspoken, brave and not easily intimidated and it is up to you guys if you want to elect me in. I have been with ACP since its founding and indeed the old guys and girls of ACP will remember fondly (or not).

    You should elect me because:
    1. ACP is a dictatorship and needs someone capable and not easily intimidated to represent people.
    2. The Senate requires people who are clean and active.
    3. I have actually proposed two very detailed bills on my campaign website. I believe no other senator has actually tabled up a bill, they are still in the listening phase. This shows efficiency and willingness to serve the people.
