Hey ACP! Unfortunately there was some controversy over the Senate that ended up with its President retiring. I’ll be taking this position as President of the Senate. We need to get this show back on the road and get the Senate back on its feet!
This is a new process for Senate elections, but I think it will work very well. It’s like the old way in that anyone can run and be elected rather than being put on a list prescribed by the President, but it will also give all the ranks more representation in our government. Here’s how it works.
Brackets
I’ve separated the ranks into 5 different brackets to get representatives from all different levels. Some brackets are larger and therefore will have more representatives. You can find your bracket and its number of Senator spots (in parentheses next to the bracket number) in the list below.
- Bracket 1 (4): Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant
- Bracket 2 (4): Warrant Officer, 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, Captain
- Bracket 3 (4): Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier General
- Bracket 4 (3): Major General, Lieutenant General, Field General
- Bracket 5 (3): General, Division General
- Bracket 6 (2): Master Corporal, Advisors, ACP Janitor, ACP N00b, ACP Intern, ACP Graphic Designer, Creator/God
Anyone above the owner line will not be allowed to run for the Senate.

The signup form has been simplified this time around; since the leaders will have nothing to do with selecting Senators, much of the information required on past Senate signup forms has been removed. Instead, I’ve included a spot on the application for a message. Each candidate’s name and message will be listed in the second Senate post. In this spot on the form, write whatever you want to persuade your fellow soldiers to elect you. It can be what you want to do in the Senate, why you think you’re qualified, whatever. Just keep it fairly brief.

- I am the President of the Senate. I will run elections and meetings. I will not get to vote on bills.
- I will appoint a Vice President. They will help me run meetings and act as sort of a secretary. Just like the President, it is important that, as an appointed officer, the VP will not get to vote on bills.

Well, All the times I ran for senate I pretty much won each time. I always tried to actually come to the senate meetings in a time were the senate had more active people. I have been in this army for at least 5 years now, so my experiance helps as well. Yes, I have took a break before, but that was only because my grades were dropping, but I assure you that I won’t take another during my time as senate unless my grades get really bad again or my parents forced me to. 4. Message:In my long time in CP Armies I have never tried to be in Senate. But now that I am I want everyone to know my intentions. I have been in CP Armies long enough to know a good amount of stuff about them. One of my goals if I do make ACP Senate is to make ACP a more fun army. I have already told Ken about my ideas to make ACP more fun, he said he will launch them but I have not seen anything of that sort yet and since I am not on site I can not launch them. My ideas is too make ACP more fun by having parties and power/days/xat giveaways every now and then, and I am talking about scheduled parties, not some random ones you could be missing cause you are playing your DS or iPod. Also I have noticed that recently the army has fallen a bit, not too much to make us weak, but enough to make us look weaker then we use to. I want to also have more recruiting sessions, more unscheduled then scheduled because recruiting isn’t something that we should do that is scheduled, it is one of those things all troops should do alone or in groups. Maybe randomly someone could say “Hey lets go on Breeze or Mammoth and start recruiting” or maybe “Hey lets go to some CP Chat like YodaAds or Riffy888 and recruit new people to CP Armies from there!” We have many ways we can make this army better and if I get into senate I want to put these ideas and more into action!

I’ve had two and a half years of CP army experience. The ACP is a warrior, consisting of strong talents, bright youths, and determined soldiers. The warrior, the leaders, are what drives the army, leads them to their goals, comes up with the strategies to achieve them. The warrior’s sword, the common soldiers, are what fuels the army. Like all swords, they have to be sharpened, cleaned, kept in a good shape. What I’ve seen has not been that. The leaders, sometimes mistreat the common soldiers, leading to a warrior not keeping his blade sharp. Without a good blade, the warrior cannot conquer. Without the common soldiers, the ACP would not prevail. That is why, as senator, I will stand up for the rights for the common soldier, allow them more freedom of speech, and bring a sense of fairness to this army.

I think all troops want to see parties or fun events because they are bored about recruiting events or invasions . Other idea is to do contests … We had a contest a week or two ago and it was pretty cool . GFX contests are good for soldier who do GFXs but good and for army because we can refresh our site easier . Message: I have had the honor of serving two previous terms as a senator. The Senate requires someone who is outspoken, brave and not easily intimidated and it is up to you guys if you want to elect me in. I have been with ACP since its founding and indeed the old guys and girls of ACP will remember fondly (or not).

1. ACP is a dictatorship and needs someone capable and not easily intimidated to represent people.
