We had a nice Senate meeting and passed a few bills and took some tough but necessary actions. I want to thank all the senators who took the time to come and participate.  Now the bills passed were, in order.

The Unmod week bill presented by Dryvit. The Unmod week has been cancelled for good. All mods who were unmodded are now mods and Matre and who he choses will decide on modship. Going forward, the ACP leader will decide or a committee he appoints.

The Flip Bill presented by Fox. No flip emotes are allowed on chat in names, avatars or randomly made. You will be guested until it is removed.

The Division Updates Bill presented by Mchappy. Once a week division news and activities will be posted on the ACP by (Mchappy if Matre agrees) and all important info will be available to all soldiers of those divisions.

The Holiday Bill presented by new senator Holo2. At Christmas the ACP tries to get the equivalent  of 6000 coins from each ACP soldier to the Coin kettle collections on CP and have a huge part to celebrate.

That completes the Bills passed. Many many bills were voted down, including Shabs “Unowner former leaders”, was unanimously voted down.

Now on to the business undertook. Former senator Ice sent horrible PC’s to Senator Fox, and continued horrific behavior on the senate chat even after being kicked numerous times by all senators. After a solid hour of this , the senate voted to remove ice from the senate. He was replaced with Holo2.

Doodygirl, is now also a senator Replacing Chaos42 and Peguin (Peg) is now a senator . These senators have not come to one meeting nor provided a reason why. Welcome the new senators and we shall await Matres decisions on the passed bills if they become laws.

    A more update on my Bill: If a Division General doesn’t Post once a Week, Matre with his decision will get a temporary Division General for that Division!

    Overall it was a really good Meeting. I’m glad I could make it :mrgreen:

    NOT FAIR YOU LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE 28 VOTES THATS WHAT PEOPLE DEICDE IITS NOT OVER DRY

    Senators are Senators for the term of 4 Months,and they Need to follow rules.

    I don’t really have a problem with the holiday bill, but it seems kind of unnecessary to make it a bill in a Senate meeting. That kind of thing should be presented as an idea to Matre and not tossed around in a meeting in which we try to make rules and laws to make the army better.

    I was there for the end and beggining of the third meeting, and I commented on the first meeting post that I couldn’t make it! This is outragous, I had someone ask me if I made to any of the meetings, and I told them I made it to one. Why did you do this!

    Ok Mr8, no one saw you, but ok you can be a senator…..

    Oh snap! I just realized what Dry meant earlier when he said to me “Stev’s pic goes in violation of the new bill xD” I’d forgotten that my girlfriend is flipping you all off in my xat pic lol. Good thing i changed it in time to a pic of my best friend and I xD.

    I was there for different stages of the meeting, and it was very productive.

    But I do have one issue, and please don’t condemn me as lazy and unlistening for it, but frankly the length of time the senate meeting was, and the amount of bills that were actually passed.

    4 bills in an hour or so doesn’t seem great.

    Now I’m not condemning the bills that were passed, I’m condemning the bills that weren’t passed. A number of them were dismissed as A) Plaain stupid B) Already in place or C) Illegal with the terms of the ACP senate powers.

    My only reasonable way to get out of these pointless bills are to A) Use the site I made to decide whether the bills are usable BEFORE THE MEETING B) To disable a certain type of bill which dominates a large part of the meeting and is pointless.

    Finally un mod week is over forever now good mods dont have to worry about someone they banned for a good reason wanting them de moded, I myself being a mod I find this very great. Oh yeah no more flip icons this has been the best news I have got all week! 🙂
