Just reposting this (thanks Saint).  Also, I finally found pics from the battle, I wouldn’t go as far as to say we lost, but we do need to improve.  These can be viewed HERE.

I must preface this Post by saying I was not on till the end of the battle. I had been lying in bed nursing a horrid headache. Nonetheless, had I been there, is there doubt the out come would have been the same? No one knows.

Point being, we cannot judge ACP or even the troops available at the moment a practice battle was called. Troops come in all types. Our grizzled veterans, our schooled officers and our eager to learn soldiers. We cannot gauge ACP as a whole by the mix of soldiers on chat at any one time.

The ability to do that is staggering in the odds. What might help in the future,  is to view the available troops on chat, the experience of those troops compared to what the “enemy” has available to them to even request a battle. If we see our chat is  not full, and those on are new and eager but lacking experience,  the invitation will be declined.

The way to attempt to cure that experience quotation is to 1. Push ACPTR hard, 2. Run non stop drills and practices ( this will most likely drive many away), or 3. Plan and execute drill practices, and run Practice battles on a semi weekly basis. We cannot run divisional battles until ALL soldiers are in a division, including those  who joined an hour prior to any battle.

So to say ACP was pathetic is a wholly untrue statement by the mere fact of the odds of  a chat being filled with experienced soldiers at any one time. Perhaps the lack of experienced soldiers, ( our fault, not theirs) led to a pathetic showing. All in all, I just want the fairest light shone upon those troops that made the battle. It has been over one year since ACP lost a scheduled battle, I think that alone speaks volumes of this army. Thanks.

Saint: These pictures are only at the time of when we were actually doing well, IF you were there you would have known that most of the time they either outnumbered us OR we were similar in size.

Edit: In defense of our soldiers who were positive we did win, I finally found someone with pics, and they seem to support your argument.  Thanks Goodwill.

I don’t think we lost the battle per se, but the turnout wasn’t great, so we need to work harder nonetheless.  The low turnout suggests we need to work on taking orders from leaders other than me, and we need to be more committed to getting on Club Penguin as soon as possible.  We would have been in trouble if that was an invasion.

Oagalthorp: Once upon a time the ACP lost a battle to the UMA. It was World War III, and we had our butts handed to us on a silver platter with a side of humble pie. But what did we do? Did we count our losses and give up? Did we let the UMA win the war?

No.

We worked our asses of to improve. We created a more effective uniform. We made a network of alliances. We improved on dozens of tactics. We recruited. We chose our fighting grounds. And what happened in out next confrontation? We used every possible strategy and advantage in our power to beat them. Did we win?

Yes.

In fact, we went on to win the entire war and reach the height of the ACP’s power. All because of one humiliating loss. So use this lesson to your advantage.

First off: WE LOST

Pathetic. One word about todays suprise PB. Heck it even surprised me, in many ways might I add. SW owned us, it’s true, don’t try to cover it up. Yes we came back near the end, and SW wants to call it a tie, but in my book that is a total failure.

We wont get away with this epic loss, we will work our butts off until I think we’ve had enough. This week I will schedule something EVERY DAY, and yes, it will be very hard due to finals this week for some of us. In basketball when we totally bomb something, like lay-ups or free throws, we run, run until we cry. So that’s what I plan on doing.

Yes I know Chat was silent for the most part, but I still believe what I think.

If I miss one of these recruitments/battles you will get a day off with me just by myself on CP recruiting for an hour.

If you can’t make it, you wont have 40 jumping jacks to do, don’t worry.  I just think after this EPIC failure by losing to an army that was made SUNDAY we need some work.

With all the active patrols and recruiting parties going on Club Penguin, I think we need to clarify some items to save trouble down the line. ACP is set up like a real army. We have a top leader, Boomer, who in turn promotes other soldiers to work for him and lead those below them. This is really the only way it can work, or we would have 600 soldiers following their own orders on CP during battles, drills etc.

The accepted method of leadership in ACP is that of the real army. Highest rank leads, period.

There will be times when the highest rank cannot lead, at that point they usually ask who is next highest, as I have done at times when having to leave or am tied up on the site. There should never be a time when a soldier just assumes command over a higher ranking soldier on their own.

If you wish to lead a small patrol or recruiting party, ask the highest rank available if you may do so , then proceed to do just that. There should be no threats, or promises of promotion or demotions made. Those are solely decided by Boomer alone. Just take a note of who does not gear up for the patrol or recruiting party.

It should be generally accepted by the soldiers that only the highest ranks will lead a drill or tactic session. These soldiers are usually veterans and know the tactics and drills quite well, and are qualified to teach these skills by means of Boomers ranking them in that position.

ACP encourages all soldiers to be proactive in recruiting and patrolling of our servers.  I have never seen a soldier denied this honor. If your a higher rank and decide to join that patrol, realize that it may be more efficient if you were to select another server and lead a patrol there. Lets try to follow these simple rules and make ACP the envy of all armies. Thank you.

Hello, Thom here! We had a pretty successful recruiting session today, and I’d like to thank everybody on chat who actually came on! I got 2 pictures, here they are.

Saint: I’ve noticed during Recruiting Sessions that when you have too many people shouting the same things it starts showing only one bubble at a time (many people probably noticed this too). I think our best bet of getting more recruits is to have small recruiting parties spread out in one server instead of everyone in one room. I might schedule a recruiting session, but I’m not sure. If any other leader wants to, go ahead!

Fox: Nice idea Saint. I agree – small recruiting parties are better, the (small and easy to fix) problem is if Klug’s leading one party and Matre’s leading another and Bfan’s leading another, we’ve got people shouting different orders and dumb people (Fox) might get confused. Now if you’ll excuse me, people are overusing the audies on chat and I need to kick them.

Echo beat GW in the practice battle today. It was hard to get an exact count of how many people were there, because Disney has to make sure our computers glitch when we have a battle on CP. Saiya pced me saying Echo won. On some screens there were 20 Echo and 3 GW, others 15 Echo 10 GW, others 8 Echo 2 GW, and it was different on everybodies screen. Edit: Sorry for the edit Thom – I wasn’t there for long but I got two pics, so I figured I would post them. Basically Echo got to the battle with strong numbers and recruited a ton, so we ended up having a solid 30 soldiers from one Division (one-third of ACP is bigger than the 3rd largest army 😆 ). Anyway, here are the pics I got:

Not a very long battle, but a victory nonetheless. Well done Echo!

Well………………………………… this is my second retirement, and this ones official.

I started as a clubpenguin n00b minding my own buisness, when all of a sudden i was in the middle of a war between cp clones(retired army) and ST. I fought unofficially for a while. then i saw rbaa recruiting. i searched it and found their site. I looked their allies and saw ACP. I was inactive for a  while, but a mounth later i remembered the site and became active.

CP, The army I believe i joined at least 2 years ago. I remember from my first year and months i didnt know anything of clubpenguin or acp as a matter,My friend emailed me about this(of course we were only 10 and now im 12) acp it seemed cool and i checked it out. So later in my army career i ranked up and up and found many friends… here they are the long list everyone wants to be in.
