Rejoining/Rank Explanations

I realized a lot of people were left off the ranks because we cleared them out for just the active count, so if you need your rank back, leave a comment on the Join page and just add what rank you were previously and I’ll get you back on.

Next, I wanted to explain the ranks because everyone thinks they got demoted…

I had to do this last time because people see the name “Lt. General” and think that its at the same level it was before (it’s not).  The ranks were based on the distance from the mod rank (so if you were one above the mod rank as a Lt. General, then you are now still one above the mod rank as a Major General – you did not get demoted, you stayed the same, they are just different rank names).  Here are the conversions:

  • Master General = General/Lt. General
  • Lt. General = Lt. General/Major General
  • Major General = Major General/Brigadier General
  • Sgt. Major General = Brigadier General
  • Brigadier General = Brigadier General/Colonel
  • Adjunct General = Colonel
  • Colonel = Colonel/Lt. Colonel
  • Lt. Colonel = Lt. Colonel/Major
  • Major = Major
  • Captain = Captain
  • 1st Lieutenant = 1st Lieutenant
  • 2nd Lieutenant = 1st Lieutenant/2nd Lieutenant
  • Warrant Officer = 2nd Lieutenant/Warrant Officer
  • 1st Sergeant = Warrant Officer
  • Staff Sergeant = Warrant Officer/Staff Sergeant
  • Sergeant = Staff Sergeant/Sergeant
  • Specialist = Sergeant
  • Corporal = Corporal
