Army of Club Penguin

There are waaay to many moderators on the chat. I propose that only Brigade Leaders or Generals and up should be moderators because we have inexperienced soliders insulting our allies and banning them for no reason. We have fights about where to go and when to go. We have small children like Chapa being exposed to swearing, sexual language, and racism. I believe that this would all stop if we limited the number of moderators. Do you remember when Kg reset the chat? Now, that was madness. There were so many moderators and owners, it was ridiculous. Is this what we trained our soliders to be? If someone does not agree with a moderator, they are banned. This is madness!

I propose that only brigade leaders should be moderators.

Once again, Boomer, this is only my opinion and you may delete if you want. That is fine.

Many of you already know how this works, but for those who don’t here is the 411:

As you may know, there are two teams, Red and Blue.  Each Division will represent a color.  Division I (Alpha, Delta, and Echo), led by Abercrombe29, represents the Red Team.  Division II (Gamma, Kappa, and Sigma), led by Rapidy, represents the Blue Team.  Please arrive at the battle in appropriate colors.  If you do not have a Division yet, names starting with A-M will be Red, and N-Z will be Blue.

Here are the uniforms.  They can be adjusted based on what clothing items you have, but you must be the color you are assigned.

*IMPORTANT*

In case one of the team leaders cannot make it, here is how we will work the battle leadership.  If the first leader on the list cannot make it, the second will lead, and so forth.  Once a leader has led a practice battle, they will move to the bottom of the list so the next person on the list can lead.  Make sure you know who is leading so you know who to listen to, and if you are your team’s leader, make sure they know you are in charge.

Remember what we have been practicing, especially for this, because it will probably be more chaotic than usual.

• Make sure to spread out and pay attention on Club Penguin
• Stay quiet so you can see commands, and only talk when you are executing a joke bomb, spam charge, emote bomb, etc.
• Leaders should lead entirely on CP, so soldiers, don’t worry about checking the chat
• If everyone is ready on CP, you will have much better execution on charges, etc
• Make sure you know who is leading.  Check the list above, and whoever at the battle is highest on that list will be leading
• Leaders, make sure you are there early so you can make sure your soldiers know you are in charge

The battle will last 30 minutes and will be judged by me.  Here is the scoring system:

• A successful charge
• Covering up your opponent
• Successfully avoiding an enemy charge
• Being the larger side for 5 minutes

Leaders and soldiers, remember the tactics we have been practicing.  Stay quiet so the leader can give commands, and only talk when you are instructed to charge and spam or emote bomb, etc.  Watch for regrouping, and make sure to spread out.

After the battle, be ready for a recruiting party.  Good luck everyone!  I hope to see you there!

I would also like everyone to welcome back a couple of ACP vets.  The first one had some strange irony to it.  I was updating the ACP Legends page when I came across Thebest22’s name.  I was not sure why I had added him considering his rank was lower than most of the other Hall of Famers.  I decided that I thought he deserved it enough to stay on the list.  Less than an hour later, I was on chat, and Thebest22 shows up.  He said he was searching for his name on Google, I guess, and he found a hit on the ACP Legends page, which brought him back to the site.  After I got to talk to him, he said he would really like to rejoin.  So he’s back.  Good thing I didn’t take his name down or we wouldn’t have him back 😛 .  Next, Jungle’s sister Racegirl2142 came on a short time later, and asked if she could rejoin as well.  Then finally, the one I may have been most surprised about, Orcacam07 came on!  Some of you may remember him, but for those who do not, he was a General in mid-’07 along with Penquin Jim.  He asked me if he could rejoin to!  So we got three ACP vets in the span of two hours 😛 .  Welcome back guys (and girl ).

Shab: I tried to fix the mods on chat more by unmodding the people who were modded for no reason. It is very hard to do it tho when Kg starts challenging me. Why is he an owner anyways? Doesn’t he have to follow something because it is very annoying when we have to argue about it when you aren’t there.

Head has no reason to be a mod so I unmodded him. I’ll explain more on chat

First, I would like to talk about the Allied Meeting hosted by RPF because this is the biggest news right now.  At the meeting, we discussed the prospect of bringing back ANTA, which unfortunately did not have much support other than me.  Oh well.  However, we all came to the agreement that we needed a neutral site for the major armies, as well as a Club Penguin server map, detailing who owns what server.  Along with this, we decided to expand The Alliance, which I am happy to say now includes ACP.  The new Alliance includes RPF, the Nachos, UMA, WW, and ACP.  This will only be used in times of war, so it should not interfere with much else.  The reason I am happies *happiest, that’s kinda a funny typo 😛 about this is because now ACP has made more of an official alliance with the other major armies, whereas before, it was more of a loose alliance with each army individually.  I am happy that we have been included because I feel we have a lot that we could contribe *contribute, geez I’m having a bad day 😐 should any of the armies need help.  I will make it my duty to defend them if the conflict arises.

Next, we need to update the chat rules because we have been having problems with them recently.  Many soldiers are no longer going on chat due to unfair mods and excessive language.  So here are the new rules.  Mods and owners, if you choose not to follow these rules, I will replace you with someone who will.  I never want to see bad language from mods and owners because you are supposed to be setting an example for the other soldiers, however, you more recently have been the problem.

1. No Bad Language – This means do not say anything that would be deemed inappropriate.  This includes general curse words, racial slurs, homophobic language, and sexual language.  If someone says a basic curse word, kick them first.  If they repeat the offense, you may ban them for 1 hour.  If they have been banned for this repeatedly, you may increase the length of the punishment.  Anything else (f-word, racist comments, homophobic slurs, and sexual language) is a ban the first time – no warnings.  These can be for any amount of time determined my the banner.
2. No Advertising (Spamming) – Do not come on chat and spam links to your site or chat, unless it is for a specific purpose, such as a meeting.  If you want to give someone a link, do it in pc.  Also, there is no spamming of inappropriate links (porn, inappropriate pictures/videos, etc.).  Spamming a link is a kick only offense, unless it is repeated despite the warning.  Then the punishment can be either a ban or being made a guest.  Porn links, etc. will result in a 6 hour to Forever ban with no warning required.
3. No Flooding (Being annoying) – This includes no talking in CAPS.  The only exception is if a leader needs to give an order in a battle situation.  This also includes typing random letters or smilies repeatedly.  The punishment is kick only.
4. No Politics or Religion – This usually results in arguements, so stay away from it.  It is not punishable unless it begins to make people angry, but it is suggested that it be stayed away from as much as possible.  If the situation begins to escalate, the punishment is a kick, however, if the problem becomes a full argument, those participating are to be banned for 1 Hour.
5. No Joining or Helping Enemies – Soldiers of enemy armies are not permitted on chat during war time.  During war time, Martial Law can be declared, in which case, enemy soldiers are to be made guests and then banned.
6. No Asking to Be a Moderator/Owner – This is a verbal warning first, followed by a kick if it persists.
7. Follow Orders – If a superior (usually a leader) gives you a direct order, you must carry it out.
8. No Personal Pics/Info – Please do not post pictures of yourself on main chat, because not everyone wants to know what you look like.  Likewise, do not post your personal information (hometown, address, phone number, cell number, email, etc.) on main chat.
9. No Bribes – Do not promise anyone that they can be a mod for doing something or for giving you xats and days.  No exceptions.
10. Do Not Do Anything You Know or Feel is Wrong – This can be pretty much anything.  If you think it is wrong to do, chances are it probably is.
11. Do Not PC the Owners – This is not something that will be punished, but I need to say something about it because it is becoming an issue.  Part of the reason I do not come on chat as much as I used to is because I am almost always updating something on the site, and pc usually only delay me getting work done, so I try to avoid the chat when I need to do something important.  I have no problem with being on chat and doing work at the same time, but in order for this to happen, I need some peace.  I almost never get to talk on main chat anymore because I have at least 5 pcs at all times.  Do everyone a favor and use the ACP email (acparmyofcp@aol.com) if you have to ask to be an ally or to be added to the blogroll.  It is easier on everyone (especially me).  Likewise, if you want to say hi to me, please do it on main chat.

Moderators, I expect you to follow these rules diligently.  If you see someone doing something wrong, make sure to give the appropriate punishment given here.  No unfair bans.  You must also refrain from breaking these rules yourselves, because you need to set an example for how to behave.  If you are not being responsible as moderators (or owners), you risk losing your position for someone who can follow the rules.

Hi everyone, it’s Jedi. I haven’t been on chat/site for a while because I’ve been very busy.

I’ve  two major tests on Thursday, a report due on Friday, and a Competition on Saturday.

Coupled with those things, my dad’s coming back from his trip to Canada, so I’ve that too to sort through.

In other news, there’s a poll for President of Club Penguin (I believe Big Balla was the last one, correct me if I’m wrong…).  Anyway, here is the link:
