On to the Tournament battle, which I think went pretty well.  There’s a lot we did well, but a lot we need to tighten up.  The first thing was the Divide and Conquer strategy, which Oagal and I disagreed on.  My reasoning was that ACP always has soldiers on Club Penguin that are not on chat, so I figured that sending only those soldiers on chat from Sherbet to Fjord would still give me enough soldiers on Sherbet to defeat ST.  After UMA called in for backup against IW and the Nachos on Fjord, I figured it was a risk worth taking since we were excessively larger than ST on Sherbet (by 3 or 4 times), and we had CPAF as a fallback.  The transition went fairly well once everyone understood where they were going and eventually got into Fjord.  Afterward, ACP and UMA made significant gains on Fjord, while the ACP soldiers on Sherbet held off an increasing large ST faction for over an hour.  To my knowledge, this is one of the first instances of a major army successfully defending two servers at once, so thanks to everyone who made that work out.  I thought it was pretty cool while being quite chaotic for me at the same time 😛 .

There are still some things we need to work on, however.  The first is regrouping.  We struggle with regrouping after charges, partly due to our size, but we can still improve quite a bit.  The second is spreading out.  We are a very large army, and we need to use our size to our advantages.  When we do regroup, we bunch up and stand on top of each other, making us look smaller.  The second thing we need to improve is listening for commands.  We do a lot of yelling and random charging, but we need to hold back and stay quiet for the most part so enemies can see our size and you can see my commands without it being covered up by a chat bubble.  Keep an eye on me, especially if you are not on chat, so you know when to charge.  When we do a full charge, that is when you should scream at the top of your lungs 😛 .  I was not sure if I would have to address this, but please do not crowd around me.  Someone remarked it was like Rockhopper (which I found amusing), but there is no need to “protect” me from anything.  Snowballs are not going to kill me, nor you, so please give everyone their space.  Also, other people need to be able to see my commands, and that is made difficult when everyone crowds around me.

I do not know if I will be around tonight to come on chat or anything, but if I can maybe we can organize a party on CP.  Maybe Shab or Sheila or someone can try to set one up regardless of if I can make it or not.  We should celebrate our achievements of the past year tonight.  Then we can make New Year’s Resolutions for next year 😀 .

P.S.~Congrats everybody!  We just thrashed the previous record for hits in a month by well over 3,000 and we still have almost all of today to increase it 😛 .  And December was supposed to be a slow month 😐 (25,000 more hits than last December lol 😛 )
