I’ve made one minor change, but thats it. Anyways, I want to announce the revised ACP constitution coming out, maybe on Friday or Thursday, the government elections at Friday/Saturday, and the polls ending on Tuesday. I’ll be appointing my staff, and working on government appointments. Also, first, Senator and Governor elections. Then out of the 12 senators, you’ll pick the 4 consulates. I’ll be President of Congress. Secondly, I think that what will occur, is that I’ll divide server groups into states, and states, and depending on the number of servers per state, thats the number of Senators elected. I’m considering Surveyors, just to work on surveying servers. Also, I think that we will have our own networking agency for intelligence that fully collaborates with SSACP.
Well I finally finished the ranks, which I decided to do early because of the holiday. I apologize to those of you who have been waiting for them (maybe begging is a better word 😛 ). The reason it took so long was that I went through the ranks and took off anyone who has not commented on the site for over 2 months. I also included all of the new recruits (easily over 100) that have joined this month. You should notice that the ranks are a little thinner in the middle ranks. This is because there were so many old, retired soldiers. By removing these soldiers, I have freed up many ranks for many lower-ranked soldiers and recruits to get promos more easily. This also allowed me to promote some of the soldiers trapped in the bottomless pits we call Corporal and Sergeant. I also alphabetized everything so it’s easier to find your name 😛
The rank names are the major ranks used by th U.S. Army. I always thought they were cooler, plus a lot of you suggested them. Please note that, for example, if you were a Major before and are a Major now, you got promoted because a few of the lower and upper ranks were combined, so there are fewer ranks. Look at how far away you are from the mod rank to compare how much your rank changed. You can pc me if you have any questions so I can better explain it.
Jedi and Shab: If you would like to change anything with the ranks, please let me know so I can change it, because I am trying to keep an organized record of everything. Thanks.
A couple additional notes:
- If you were removed from the ranks for being inactive, please comment on the ranks page with your name and the rank you were previously. If you do not know, let me know and I will look it up for you (I have a copy of the old ranks on my computer).
- If there is a spelling error in your name, you can also comment on the ranks page or pc me on chat.
- I was only able to add people whose join comments were submitted in November due to the enormous amount that joined. If I missed you or you commented before November, please recomment and I will add you as soon as I can.
- If you would like to join, now is the best time to do so!! Many of the retired and inactive soldiers have been removed from the ranks, giving you a much greater chance of being given a good rank from the start (especially if you have past army experience). It will also be much easier to be promoted because there are less names on the ranks to worry about.
I would like to clear it with the other leaders first, but I would like to be the one to keep track of the join page. No offense to whoever was doing it before, but it was not kept up with very well. Now that we have more leaders, it will be easier to divide up different jobs. I think it would be best if I am the only one working on it for now, because if multiple people are working on them at one time, it gets confusing who has been added. I need to keep a record of that, so hopefully it is okay with you if I take care of that for now.
